We are looking to bring on an experienced individual to design, launch and lead our capital campaign and raise the remaining funds needed to complete the project.
The Capital Campaign Lead will take overall responsibility for planning, leading and delivering the £5m capital appeal over the next few years. This includes developing the case for support, managing campaign phases, cultivating major donors and funders, and ensuring strong governance, reporting and stewardship throughout the campaign.
The York Animal Home was built in 1980 and no longer meets modern welfare, licensing or operational requirements. Demand for our services is rising sharply, while the complexity and scale of cases continues to grow. We are at the point where our current animal facilities do meet our needs and have been working to redevelop the site and build new modern facilities.
We have received planning permission and are in the process of finalising the designs prior to construction beginning this year.
We expect Major donors, high-net worth individuals and corporate partnerships to make up the main elements of the fundraising campaign, so are looking for individuals with a proven track record of raising large sums in these areas.

Young Citizens is seeking a Business Development and Special Projects Lead to support a critical year of fundraising, income generation and partnership development. This role supports the special projects work with the CEO and will work with the senior team to lead on the income and visibility opportunities that unlock our delivery for our three-year strategy.
Your Role’s Purpose
Year 1 of this role will be focused on business model development, income generation and strategic partnerships. Working closely with the CEO and senior management team, you will help shape, test and secure new funding and commercial opportunities that position Young Citizens for long-term sustainability and impact. The special projects element includes supporting the developmental design of our future business model, charity strategy and public affairs work.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, creating and working at pace to achieve great results within a small team. You will be rapidly developing propositions, forging partnerships and converting ideas into credible, funded initiatives. You will play a central role in strengthening our relationships with funders, institutions, corporates and sector partners, while supporting wider organisational development projects.

In Year 1, your primary focus will be to:
- Develop and drive income/fundraising with existing channels, including grant funding, partnerships and commercial activity.
- Build a strong pipeline of income opportunities, working closely with the CEO to convert prospects into funding

- Design and execute new funding models and partnership opportunities alongside the CEO’s updated strategic plan

Blues Foundation:
We are the charitable arm of Bedford Blues Rugby Club. We use the values of rugby and sport to change lives through interventions and programmes that support our local community. Role Overview:
Our Fundraising Manager will play a major part in significantly increasing our growth in fundraising activities, including corporate and individual giving, community events and support our strong relationships with local businesses, schools and clubs, increasing grassroots engagement. They will lead our restricted and unrestricted fundraising as we enter another exciting period of growth for our charity. The role will manage and implement a high-quality marketing plan to demonstrate our impact and promote our services. Our Second Home (OSH) is a youth movement for young people with refugee experience to build community, become leaders, and flourish in the place they now call home. Each year, thousands of displaced young people arrive in the UK facing isolation, disruption to education, and limited opportunities to belong. OSH exists to change that.
Our work begins with residential programmes, where young people form friendships, build confidence, and experience joy and belonging. From there, many go on to take part in our nationally certified Leadership Training Programme and our regular Youth Hubs in London and Bristol. With the right support, young people return as peer leaders themselves – shaping programmes, mentoring others, and helping to build a self-sustaining, youth-led movement.
We are now looking for a Communications & Content Producer to help bring this work to life. This role is about turning the energy, warmth and leadership that exists across OSH into compelling stories, images and short videos that deepen connection with supporters, recruit volunteers, and support fundraising and events.

The Communications & Content Producer is a freelance role, working 1.5 days per week, reporting to the CEO. You will be responsible for capturing and producing content from across OSH’s programmes – particularly youth hubs, leadership training days and residentials – and shaping it into consistent, values-aligned output across our digital channels.
This includes attending programmes to capture photos, short-form video and quotes; identifying moments that tell the story of OSH; and maintaining a simple, organised content library. You will lead delivery of a regular social media rhythm, with a particular focus on Instagram, including posts, reels and stories, as well as adapting content for other platforms where appropriate.
You will develop and run a small number of recurring content series, write clear and engaging captions in UK English, and design simple, on-brand graphics using tools such as Canva. The role also involves producing a monthly supporter email newsletter, keeping key website pages up to date, supporting fundraising pushes and events such as the Young Leaders’ Graduation Showcase, and helping amplify partners, funders and sector allies.
Alongside content creation, you will put in place light systems – a content calendar, simple co-creation processes for staff and volunteers, and basic analytics – to track what is working and refine output over time.
About You
You do not need a traditional communications background, but you should be excited by youth spaces, storytelling and social impact. You are proactive, organised and practical, with the confidence to work independently and make good use of limited hours.
You will have experience managing social media channels and creating content for an organisation, campaign or project. You are comfortable capturing and editing photos and short-form video on a smartphone, writing clearly and concisely in UK English, and adapting tone for different platforms including Instagram, email and LinkedIn. You care about quality, but you are not precious – you get content made.

The Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Associate Director of Philanthropy, UK, the Philanthropy Manager will support the implementation of the UK Philanthropy team’s strategy, with a focus to identify, establish and develop new and existing high value relationships with individuals who have the capacity to support IRC at a five and six figure level. This is an exciting role working with senior stakeholders across IRC, in the UK and internationally, to cultivate and steward relationships with philanthropists to effectively solicit multi-year gifts to fund high-impact programmes that will deliver transformative change for IRC clients across the world.
As part of this, the Philanthropy Manager will:
· Develop and implement initiatives to identify, cultivate and solicit gifts from donors in the major gift range of £10,000 and above, both in partnership with the Director of Philanthropy and through account management of a discreet prospect portfolio
· Work closely with the Director of Philanthropy and the research function to identify and cultivate positive relationships with existing donors and new prospects to significantly grow our major donor pipeline

We are an award winning charity, regiestered with the Charities commission, 1159007, and thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, we are seeking a person to coordinate, promote, and support the events and activities of Let’s Grow Preston through high-quality communications and practical logistics.
We’re looking for someone calm, sociable, enthusiastic, confident, creative, and well-organised, with the ability to produce engaging content across a range of media channels and build strong relationships with stakeholders to boost community engagement and fundraising.
You’ll also provide hands-on support: loading equipment, preparing event packs, collecting and distributing food, and gathering information for funding applications and reports to the Board of Trustees.
While the role is primarily focused on communications and general administration on behalf of the charity, it’s varied and active; you’ll regularly support events and be willing to get stuck in wherever needed.
Regular evening and weekend work will be required as part of the LGP events and community support.
A full, clean driving licence is essential, as the role involves driving the charity van. Although exceptional candidates without one may still be considered based on other strengths.
Key Responsibilities
· Act as the first point of contact for all visitors and for general enquiries - managing the everyday admin — phone calls, emails, and unexpected (sometimes bizarre!) requests — with sensitivity and efficiency, filtering out what doesn’t need to reach senior staff.
· Communicate regularly with LGP’s network of community groups, schools, partners, and stakeholders across the PR postcode.
· Maintain friendly, professional communication with internal and external contacts in the public, private, and voluntary sectors.
· Support staff to ensure all communications reflect LGP’s tone, values, and visual identity.
· Ensure all volunteers have access to the volunteer handbook, and communicate policy updates in a timely and clear manner.
· Oversee LGP’s calendars to coordinate activities, sessions, equipment, van use, and resource availability — ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.
· Promote and support the delivery of key events such as the Spring and Christmas Fairs, including marketing, logistics, and on-the-day coordination.
· Uphold health and safety standards and maintain accurate records related to activities, equipment, and participant engagement.
·Collate and format reports and presentations for funders and the board, using content provided by the team — ensuring they are visually engaging and aligned with our brand.
·Support team leads in building relationships with local businesses to increase community engagement and secure corporate support.
·Produce regular newsletters and updates for LGP’s website and social media (Facebook, Instagram, X), using tools like Canva to create engaging, on-brand content.
·Contribute to the creation and delivery of a wider communications and publicity strategy.

Essential Qualities
•Minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade A–C (or equivalent), including English and Maths
•At least 2 years’ experience in community engagement, project coordination, or similar roles

•High level of IT competency, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office
