We are seeking an organised, proactive, and people-focused Business Support and Grant Manager to join our growing charity. The Supporter Care Manager manages and leads the Supporter Services function to provide an exceptional service to our supporters, from initial contact through the whole of their supporter journey, including thanking, welcome and upgrade calls to exemplary complaint handling. The Supporter Care Manager ensures the day-to-day operations of the Supporter Care team are completed within agreed timeframes and to the highest of standards. This role continually reviews and challenges the function’s processes to identify improvements and efficiencies in order to continually improve our supporter offer and ultimately increase fundraising income and donor retention.

We are looking for an experienced, relationship-led Philanthropy Manager to join the Fundraising Team at the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO). Join us in developing our portfolio of major donors at a time when investment and commitment to strategically transforming our programme is high.
In this role, you’ll focus on high-value relationships of £10,000 and above, with opportunities to collaborate on organisation-wide projects. You’ll identify, cultivate and steward major donors and work with teams across the charity to create inspiring supporter relationships
This role also holds responsibility for curating meaningful events that steward our generous donors and encourage their support of BTO. You’ll lead on the planning and execution of inspiring, money-can’t-buy experiences that demonstrate the impact of our research and strengthen donor’s relationships with the charity.
We’re looking for someone who has a passion for wildlife, is able to clearly articulate the need and the benefits of supporting the work of the BTO, and who enjoys working with a team of like-minded people.
This position can be based at either one of our offices in Norfolk, Stirling, Bangor or Lisburn. Remote working will be considered. Please note that the advertised salary includes a 12% (£4,324) market force supplement, which has been applied to this role in recognition of current recruitment and retention market conditions. The supplement is subject to periodic review in line with the BTO’s Market Force Supplement Policy.

We are recruiting for 7 x Temporary Supporter Care Assistants for a high-profile social welfare Charity. You'll be part of a friendly Supporter Care team handling inbound calls from supporters and members of the public and delivering excellent customer service throughout their peak fundraising period.
Initially fully in the office, after approx 3 weeks of training you will be offered Hybrid working will involve a minimum of 2 days per week spent at their Central London office.
The Role:
Handling inbound telephone calls from the public during their busy high volume appeal period.
Processing orders for fundraising products by telephone, and handling related queries on products and deliveries to ensure a smooth ordering experience
Processing requests from organisations for fundraising materials for a very busy nationwide Campaign.
Taking telephone donations, including for their big campaigns
Processing administrative updates on our supporter database
Handling additional ad hoc queries and coordinating with relevant team members and stakeholders to ensure these are resolved and the supporter has a positive experience
