An exciting opportunity for an Events Fundraising Assistant has arisen at the London Legal Support Trust.
The London Legal Support Trust is an independent charity that raises funds for free legal advice services in London and the South East. We support free legal advice centres across London and the South East through the provision of grant funding, supporting sector infrastructure, helping agencies reduce costs and save money via pro bono or discounted schemes.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Events & Fundraising Assistant to help deliver our growing programme of own brand mass participation events and third-party challenge events. Access to justice is at the heart of our fundraising events, and the Events & Fundraising Assistant is a vital part of the team delivering the world's largest one day gathering of lawyers at the London Legal Walk.
You will help with supporter communications, event administration, logistics and event delivery, supporter enquiries and fundraising stewardship ensuring each participant feels inspired and thanked for their contribution to supporting frontline free legal advice charities.
Job description
The Events & Fundraising Assistant helps to improve, develop and organise our events, including the London Legal Walk, Great Legal Bake, Great Legal Quiz and many more across London and the South East. You will work to maintain contact with our wide network of dedicated supporters, keeping our database up-to-date with contact and event information, and support with the on the day delivery of the event. You will update our website and produce content for printed materials to promote our events programme, and assist with the recruitment and management of volunteers.
Main duties and responsibilities (see recruitment pack for more detail)
Maintain and build on existing LLST fundraising events through supporting delivery - managing sign ups, responding to enquries, drafting event materials and correspondence with supporters.
Attend, help at and supervise events including registration, set-up, pack-down and stakeholder management.

As a Floating Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting services where extra capacity is needed, working across different locations including Exeter, Somerset, Mendip, and Weymouth. Frances House is a specialist refuge accommodating eight women affected by Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and multiple disadvantages. The house is staffed 24/7 and all work with residents is trauma-informed.
Specialist Refuge Workers work in shifts: 8am – 4pm and 1pm to 9pm (rotating on alternative weeks) and including some weekend shifts.
About the Role
As Specialist Refuge Worker, you will help create a safe, welcoming environment for women and families escaping abuse. You’ll handle phone enquiries, prepare rooms for new arrivals, support with deliveries, and help maintain clean, safe communal areas.
You’ll introduce new residents to Solace services, explain key policies, and ensure they are aware of internal and external support options. Working alongside each resident, you will develop support plans, assist with benefits and housing applications, accompany them to appointments when needed, and help them work towards safe, independent move‑on accommodation.
About You
The postholder will have experience of working intensively with service users in an accommodation setting and be adept at risk and needs assessment and support planning.
You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the intersection between domestic abuse and multiple disadvantages, a developed understanding of how this can make it difficult for women to engage with support, and an ability to reflect on your own practice.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, practical, and resilient, with a genuine commitment to supporting survivors of domestic abuse. You’re confident working in a busy, varied environment and can balance hands‑on tasks with administrative responsibilities.
You communicate clearly, build trusting relationships, and work well with residents, colleagues, and external agencies. You are organised, reliable, and able to maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational procedures.
You’re also comfortable supporting service users with practical needs such as benefits, housing, and appointments, and you approach challenges with patience, empathy, and a problem‑solving mindset. You have the ability to manage occasional physical tasks, such as helping prepare rooms or assisting with deliveries.

The postholder will be based at Frances House refuge, working full-time, providing on-site support to survivors. Given the nature of this role and our refuge services, we are unable to offer hybrid working for this position.

In April 2021 we launched the GM Navigators project to support young people impacted by youth violence. In response to feedback from parents and carers, the PACS project was set up in 2023 to assist Parents and Carers identifying their child as ‘at risk’. Since this the service has gone from strength to strength with Parents and Carers engaging from all 10 GM boroughs. We have securing funding to continue this project until 2027 with potential for further extensions.
Oasis is recruiting a PAC Support Worker to be part of the PAC Project.
As a PAC Support Worker you will;
· Support parent and carers that identify their child is “at risk” offering them advice and guidance, practical support and linking them in with services/groups that will provide them with a sustainable support network.
· Help parents and carers to develop projects to raise awareness of the issues they are facing, offering peer support and influence policy and system change.
· Be trained in Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) and other parenting approaches to support parents and carers to respond to their children’s needs, de-escalate situations and maintain good relationships within their home.
· Delivering our ‘Encounter’ Parenting Training (based on the principles of NVR) online and in-person to groups of parents and host online and in-person support groups for parents and carers.
· Be integral to the shaping and development of the PAC project utilizing the feedback of those you are working with to ensure the project is impactful and meeting parent’s and carers needs as a priority.

Salary: Full-time equivalent (FTE) salary: £27,542 per annum. Actual salary (pro rata): £8,262 per annum.

Oasis is about to embark on an exciting new partnership with the West Midlands Violence Reduction Partnership to deliver Hospital In-Reach and Community Based Services. We are recruiting a part-time Project Administrator to be part of the team, who will play a key role in maintaining the smooth day-to-day running of the project. We always work in a holistic way, and it is no difference when it comes to violence. We don’t treat violence in isolation. Instead, we will seek to work as part of an eco-system of care—connecting education, housing, youth work, family support, safeguarding, and community relationships.

As Project Administrator you will;
· Update and maintain the project’s database and data management system.
· Ensure regular data is compiled for partners & funders of the service.
· Ensure that the paperwork relevant to the interventions are readily available staff
· Generate evidence of service impact.
· Arrange meetings including room booking, informing participants and minute taking
Amongst other requirements, the successful post holder must have:
· Experience of working in an administrative role.
· Experience of data management systems.
· Ability to take initiative and work under pressure.
· Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
