About the Role

This is a senior leadership opportunity with significant influence and visibility.

You will lead the Ashmolean’s fundraising strategy, driving major gift activity that supports the Museum’s priorities. You will shape and deliver a compelling case for support, building a strong pipeline of donors.

You will personally manage a portfolio of high-value donors, cultivating long-term relationships and securing six- and seven-figure gifts. Working closely with the Museum Director, Board of Visitors, and senior academic colleagues, you will connect donors with opportunities that align their interests with the Ashmolean’s mission and global impact.

Alongside your external focus, you will lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture. You will also contribute to the wider DAE strategy, working across Oxford’s collegiate and departmental network to maximise philanthropic success.

• Proven track record of securing major gifts (six- and seven-figure) and building strong donor relationships
• Experience developing and delivering fundraising strategies in complex organisations

Community Organising & Ranger Community

• Act as a key point of contact and support for Rangers across London, helping them feel connected to the wider community and to London National Park City while getting to know them and their needs individually.

• Support the gathering and analysis of feedback from programmes to inform ongoing programme development. 

Ranger Recruitment

• Directly support the identification and recruitment of new Rangers, including developing outreach strategies to attract volunteers from all of London's diverse communities. 

• Working with the communications team, contribute to recruitment materials on our website and digital channels.

• Help manage the application and onboarding process for new Ranger recruits, providing a welcoming and smooth experience from enquiry through to induction.

Salary and benefits

You will be joining and fully participating in a unique and inspirational community of changemakers and storytellers, active across London and increasingly around the world.

This is a contract role ideally full-time or for at least four days per week, initially until June 2028. Salary is dependent on experience and in the range of £32,000 to £36,000 full time. We are open to applications for flexible working arrangements which many of our staff take up.

You will have 25 holiday days allowance per year, pro rated for part-time working.

Following successful completion of a 3-month probationary period, we will enrol you in our Nest pension scheme, and will make additional payments of 4% as long as you contribute 4% of your salary each month.

To work on the Warm and Safe Wiltshire project to help Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE) support the long-term wellbeing of disadvantaged households across Wiltshire, particularly individuals living in fuel poverty, those with health conditions, and communities that are otherwise hard to reach, including Armed Forces and veteran communities. As part of the Household Energy Services (HES) team, the Wiltshire Community Outreach Energy Advisor will bring experience engaging with different groups, charities, and local authorities. The post requires excellent customer service skills, personal resilience, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries. The role is primarily field based, delivering face‑to‑face energy advice, conducting home visits, and providing presentations to community groups and frontline professionals across Wiltshire.

Pay and conditions.

• We are flexible with the working hours of this role and will discuss this openly if you are invited to interview. 
• The salary for the role will be £29,024 per year (pro rata), rising to £31, 895 per year (pro rata) upon successful completion of probation period.

• Develop, maintain and build upon new and existing partnerships with the Armed Forces and community partners.
• To provide face-to-face support for Wiltshire residents with energy-related issues so that they can stay safe, warm and healthy at home.
• To deliver outreach support to Wiltshire’s Armed Forces community including serving personnel, their families and veterans, for example attending coffee mornings and socials in Garrisons across Salisbury Plain.
• To deliver outreach support to community groups in Wiltshire who are client facing and interact with vulnerable householders daily, for example hosting an advice stand within a local library.
• To identify energy improvements that can be made to residents’ properties and make appropriate referrals for funded measures where possible.
• Help residents maximise their income and make appropriate referrals to partner organisations for further support (e.g., for benefits advice and social tariffs).
• Deliver home visits for residents with multiple issues, who are unable to access support outside the home or via phone/internet.
• Recognise and refer clients appropriately for energy casework if they have more complex needs (e.g., billing issues, energy debt, supplier complaints).
• To provide project administrative support.

This is a varied, people-focused role that sits at the heart of the organisation, providing essential administrative support across fundraising, finance administration, governance, and general office coordination.

Rahab uses Expense Plus charity accounting software and works with external accountants for statutory accounts and compliance. This role therefore focuses on accurate administration, coordination and reporting rather than technical accounting.

The Charity Administrator will work closely with the Charity Director and the management team. The trustees and external partners will ensure Rahab operates efficiently and is well supported to deliver its mission.

About the role

This is a pivotal and high‑impact role, perfect for a talented relationship‑based fundraiser who is motivated by purpose, strategy, and the power of partnership.

You will:

• Build and manage a strong portfolio of relationships with Trusts, Foundations and Corporate partners, developing tailored engagement plans that inspire deep and long‑term support.
• Grow income from charitable trusts, foundations, and statutory funders through high‑quality applications and outstanding stewardship.
• Lead MWB UK’s Gift‑in‑Kind strategy, securing in‑kind products and managing the logistics journey from offer to delivery into field countries.
• Craft compelling proposals and impact reports that clearly articulate MWB’s vision and programme outcomes.
• Collaborate with passionate colleagues across MWB’s international network to identify funding priorities, shape supporter experiences, and maximise impact.
• Contribute strategically to MWB UK’s fundraising plans, spotting opportunities, and driving income growth.

This role blends hands‑on relationship management with strategic ownership.  This is ideal for someone who thrives on initiative, creativity, and wants to see their work translate into real, tangible change for vulnerable people.

Shine supports a community of over 15,000 members living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, including 5,000 children and young people (0–25).

You will be delivering high-quality support and creating opportunities for children and young people living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and their families/carers. Supporting Shine members to lead healthy, independent, and fulfilling lives by improving condition management and fostering connections within the Shine community. 

This role will focus on children and young people (0–25), you will be primarily working within the Children, Young People and Families team. However, there will be occasions when you will work across age groups to ensure the best outcomes for our members. 

The role is home-based but you will be required to attend regular clinics in London including GOSH (Great Ormond Street Hospital). Other travel across Southern England including Bristol, Devon and Hampshire may be required. There will be occasional travel required across wider areas and nationally including attendance at events, conferences and meetings at our head office in Peterborough.

We’re currently recruiting a part-time (28 hours per week) Counselling Service Manager to manage one of the Charity’s  counselling services and work with colleagues across our services in Croydon, Merton and Sutton. For this post you need to have a counselling/mental health qualification along with extensive clinical and management experience. We are also looking for people with an open and flexible attitude; excellent engagement skills and a passion for working with children and young people around mental health.

Responsibilities include supporting less experienced staff and supporting the cohesive working between services within the charity. In addition, you will be offering a flexible range of short-term and longer-term mental health interventions to children and young people aged 11-25 including individual and group-based support; workshops; crisis support; mental health themed activities. The posts have scope and opportunity for developing new initiatives and ways of working to support young people’s mental health across South London. 

All posts are fully office based and will require flexible working across service areas and interventions and will involve some regular evening and/or weekend work to meet the needs of young people.
