Housing Justice brings together communities and finds solutions to homelessness by building personal connections, a sense of belonging, and creating justice in the housing system. We train and support volunteers to offer various accommodation options while building a network of local support. About the Faith & Community Development Team

The Faith & Community Development Team supports and strengthens community and faith-based responses to homelessness across England through its national network, partnerships, training, research, funding support and quality improvement work. The team supports organisations to deliver safer, more effective and sustainable services, including shelters, day services, outreach and community hubs. 

About you

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive person. You will have good knowledge of homelessness policy and practice, strong written and spoken communication skills, including report writing, and the ability to collate and present quantitative and qualitative information. You will have excellent digital and IT skills, including Microsoft 365, Excel and Word, with the ability to adopt and apply AI-enabled productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot or equivalent) to improve ways of working.

You will also be confident in building relationships and working in partnership with shelters, day services, churches, community projects, funders, and other stakeholders. 

About the role

The successful candidate will provide essential operational, administrative and coordination support to the Faith and Community Development Team, working closely with the London Partnerships and Development Lead. They will support smooth service delivery, stakeholder engagement, internal communications, meetings and events, reporting processes, and will act as partnership manager for a small number of projects across London.

We are looking for 2 Advice Workers to join the team at the Croydon Health and Wellbeing Space (CHWS).

Croydon Health & Wellbeing Space (CHWS) is an exciting and dynamic service, run in partnership with Mind in Croydon and Croydon BME Forum and commissioned by South London and Maudsley Mental Health Service (SLaM). The CHWS opened in 2022 with the aim of providing advice, information, and specialist support to Croydon residents with mental health concerns, who drop-in, or have been referred to the via the local Integrated Care Network Plus multi-disciplinary clinical and community mental health support teams.

The Advice Workers will be part of a friendly team, including crisis workers and clinical mental health professionals and function as the first point of access for visitors to the CHWS. Following an initial conversation to ascertain the clients’ needs, the Advice Workers will provide information and advice, as well as signposting and referrals to specialist services, such as the Mental Health Personal Independence Co-ordinators, Social Prescribers and Community Link Workers, in addition to the wider voluntary and statutory services in the borough. The role will be fast paced and vary each day offering a fantastic opportunity for the postholder to develop their knowledge and skills and make a difference to the users of this service.

We are looking for someone with significant experience in building campaigns with a successful NGO, who can take our impact to the next level. Specifically, we are hoping you will have:

• at least 5 years’ relevant professional experience, with at least 2 years’ managing campaigns for a successful NGO;

The Supporter Care Manager manages and leads the Supporter Services function to provide an exceptional service to our supporters, from initial contact through the whole of their supporter journey, including thanking, welcome and upgrade calls to exemplary complaint handling. The Supporter Care Manager ensures the day-to-day operations of the Supporter Care team are completed within agreed timeframes and to the highest of standards. This role continually reviews and challenges the function’s processes to identify improvements and efficiencies in order to continually improve our supporter offer and ultimately increase fundraising income and donor retention. 

Key Responsibilities

Communication and networking 

• Deliver an exceptional service to our supporters from initial contact through to thanking, responding to enquiries in a timely and effective way. 
• Develop and maintain excellent internal relationships to represent the Fundraising department effectively and credibly in person, and in all correspondence with supporters. 
• Manage the relationship with our external suppliers who manage the fulfilment of appeal-led gifts and Direct Debits. 
• Ensure our suppliers are meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and be prepared to hold them to account for any discrepancies or failings to meet SLAs. 
• Build good professional relationships with key stakeholders across the Foundation. 
• Communicate technical and financial information clearly to colleagues and external stakeholders and investigate non-routine queries.
• Work with Fundraising teams to ensure all fundraising activity is briefed into Supporter Care to enable delivery.

• Working with the Head of Individual & Legacy Giving to develop and lead a comprehensive programme of internally delivered welcome calls, telephone upgrades and conversion calls to our supporters. 
• Manage complex and non-routine requests from supporters and colleagues. 
• Regularly review and explore new systems and ways of working, seeking to continuously improve delivery.

The Head of Partnerships will play a key role in managing Inter Mediate's relationships with institutional donors, foundations, governments and philanthropic partners. The postholder will coordinate donor engagement across the organisation, oversee grant management and reporting, identify new funding opportunities and support the development of high-quality funding proposals. S/he also leads on our internal quality assurance, research and reporting processes, line managing the Research and Reporting Officer.

Working closely with the senior leadership, programme teams and finance colleagues, you will help ensure that Inter Mediate maintains strong partnerships with its existing funders while expanding its network of supporters. This is a collaborative, externally-facing role suited to someone with strong relationship management skills, excellent organisational ability and experience of securing and managing funding within the international development, peacebuilding or humanitarian sectors.

With at least 7 years' experience in partnerships, fundraising, business development or grant management in the international development, humanitarian or peacebuilding sectors, you will have demonstrable experience managing relationships with institutional donors, foundations and/or HNWIs, and a track record of successful funding proposals and overseeing donor reporting.

You have excellent written communication skills, strong project management skills, and superb interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with proven ability to work collaboratively across teams.

You will ideally have experience working in conflict-affected or politically sensitive contexts, be well-versed in monitoring, evaluation and learning approaches and have working knowledge of grant management systems or CRM platforms.

As a Specialist Outreach Support Worker, you'll provide trauma-informed, person-centred support to people at risk of homelessness, helping them maintain their accommodation and access the services they need to thrive.  You'll use your specialist knowledge and experience to support customers with complex needs, promote tenancy sustainment, and contribute to improving homelessness prevention practice across the team and wider service.

You’ll be part of a team that’s inclusive, customer-led, and always striving to do better, for our communities and for each other. You will be traveling across the South Essex region, so a UK driving licence and access to a car is essential for this role.

What you’ll do

• Manage a caseload of customers, delivering tailored support that promotes independence and positive outcomes.
• Support customers with complex needs, including budgeting, education and training opportunities, tenancy-related issues, and access to specialist services.
• Carry out assessments, risk assessments, support planning, reviews, and crisis intervention as required.
• Run drop-ins across South Essex, offering support, encouragement, and practical help

This is a new role at High Trees, created because we believe Lambeth’s voluntary and community sector (VCS) is one of the borough’s greatest assets – strong, skilled and rooted in the communities it serves. Place-based organisations like ours play a vital role in supporting individuals, strengthening communities, growing local economies and shaping the policy decisions that affect the people we work with. We want a dedicated Manager who can help make that case, loudly and effectively, both within High Trees and across the wider system.

A key part of this role is our contract to deliver capacity building support to Lambeth’s VCS, commissioned by the local authority and delivered through the Lambeth Hubs Partnership – but this is one strand of a much bigger picture. We want this role to think beyond any single contract, taking a long-term view of what Lambeth’s VCS infrastructure support needs to look like, and leading the development of new approaches, including peer support models and a more circular economy across the sector.

Health and wellbeing is increasingly shaping where funding and investment in our sector flows, and we want Lambeth’s VCS to be ready and well-positioned to respond to this shift. You will play a leading role in this, working with partners including the SEL VCS Alliance to develop shared practice across South East London boroughs, and ensuring our sector’s voice is heard as these opportunities develop.

This role is as much strategic as it is operational – we’re never too far from the ground at High Trees, and you’ll be expected to lead on much of the day-to-day delivery yourself. That means designing and delivering workshops and one-to-one capacity building support, developing resources and toolkits, and running networking events that bring Lambeth’s VCS together. You’ll also build a network of trusted delivery partners – freelancers and facilitators, ideally drawn from within our own sector – helping to keep skills, income and opportunity circulating within Lambeth’s VCS.

As VCS Infrastructure & Development Manager, you will lead High Trees’ work to strengthen Lambeth’s voluntary and community sector, acting as an advocate for High Trees and a champion for the wider sector, while managing funded contracts and programmes that support local organisations to grow their skills, systems and impact.

The role combines strategic leadership – shaping High Trees’ contribution to the future of VCS infrastructure support, and representing the sector within key partnerships – with hands-on operational delivery, including direct capacity building support, training and events. You will be confident managing multiple work streams, and equally comfortable working strategically and on the ground.

You'll manage and support our digital ecosystem, including social media, website development, email communications and digital advertising, ensuring every channel delivers measurable results.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications and the Training and Consultancy team, you'll be responsible for creating engaging digital content that inspire audiences, strengthens our brand and supports the communications and digital function at SMK. Importantly, you have the experience to successfully promote and drive sales of our training programmes through digital marketing techniques to optimise performance.

Job description

Marketing

• Social media management including the creation of a data led strategy and implementation plan for SMK’s channels.
• Manage the planning, creation, and scheduling of multiple marketing projects, ensuring the ‘SMK voice’ through tone and brand is implemented across digital channels.
• Create the vision for the annual SMK National Campaigner Awards social media approach and manage the roll out.
• Write compelling and impactful content for SMK’s digital channels.
• Create graphics and video content for digital channels using Canva.
• Manage paid digital ads (LinkedIn, Google Ads).
• Support the crafting and implementation of email marketing via Mailchimp including audience segmentation.
• Support the audience development strategy including research and data management.

Purpose

The Project Manager & Systems Implementation Lead will lead a programme of organisational and systemic change across DATUS, supporting the organisation to move from largely paper-based, informal and inconsistent working practices towards a more structured, reliable and digitally enabled system of operations.

The postholder will work with the CEO, senior managers and the Organisation and Governance Consultant to implement agreed organisational systems, processes and priorities across DATUS. This will include supporting the practical development and day-to-day use of systems such as SharePoint, client records, finance processes, reporting tools, action trackers, governance documents and operational workflows.

The role is focused on turning agreed organisational systems into everyday practice. The postholder will support managers and staff to use systems consistently, identify barriers to implementation, ensure agreed actions are followed through, and escalate risks where systems are not being used or delivery is drifting.

This is a senior implementation role. The postholder will have delegated authority to monitor implementation, challenge drift, request updates, support problem-solving and escalate risks. They will need to work with managers constructively and confidently, without relying on formal line-management authority.

The role does not set the strategic direction of services, replace the authority of service managers, or redefine DATUS’s peer-led model of delivery. Responsibility for service delivery remains with service managers and programme leads. The purpose of this role is to strengthen organisational reliability so that DATUS can grow, evidence its work, meet funder and governance requirements, and protect the integrity of its peer-led approach.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Implementation

• Coordinate the design, testing, implementation, embedding and ongoing improvement of agreed organisational systems, operational frameworks and processes across DATUS.
• Work with the CEO, Organisation and Governance Consultant, senior managers and relevant staff to ensure new systems are practical, usable and aligned with organisational priorities.
• Support the implementation of key systems, including client records, finance processes, SharePoint, reporting tools, action trackers, governance documents and other operational workflows.
• Ensure new systems and applications are properly documented, maintained and managed once implemented.
• Develop practical guidance, templates, processes and tools to support consistent use across the organisation.
• Identify practical barriers to implementation and work with teams to resolve them.

Embedding & Adoption

• Work with Heads of Service, managers and staff to embed agreed systems into everyday practice.

Organisational Coordination

• Maintain visibility of operational activity across DATUS and support clear communication between leadership and operational teams.

Reporting & Escalation

Performance & Systems Integration

• Work closely with the Performance & Finance Lead to align finance systems, client data systems, KPI reporting and organisational dashboards.
• Ensure systems support accurate, timely and useful data capture, including outcome tracking, pathway reporting and recovery intelligence.
• Support the development of dashboards, reports and practical management information that helps DATUS understand performance and improve delivery.

Policies, Procedures & Governance

• Support the development, implementation and review of organisational policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Translate policies into practical processes that staff can understand and use.

Qualifications and Training

Essential

• Relevant management, operations, systems implementation, project management or change management qualification, or significant equivalent experience.
• Evidence of using structured project management approaches in practice, including planning, risk management, action tracking, implementation monitoring and review.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint or equivalent document management / collaboration systems.

Desirable

• Formal project management qualification or training, such as PRINCE2, APM, Agile, Lean, Scrum or equivalent.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial administration of the Trust, ensuring accurate financial records, timely processing of income and expenditure, budget planning and development, monitoring, and compliance with charity accounting requirements.

You will work closely with the Head of Operations, Trustees and external advisers, supporting financial planning, audit requirements, and governance. The role also includes providing Clerk support to the Board of Trustees, including attending up to four evening meetings each year.
