Job Summary

Main Duties and Responsibilities
To develop and deliver comprehensive support plans for families who are newly arrived and throughout their first years in the UK. This includes reviewing these at regular intervals to ensure they continue to fully meet the needs of all family members.
To be responsible for managing the full support needs of caseload families including helping them to apply for benefits and learn to manage their finances; organising and ensuring attendance at ESOL classes; facilitating access to medical services including initial health assessments and follow ups; applying for schools and ensuring children are supported to settle in; encouraging attendance at community groups and with other practical arrangements as needed on a bespoke basis.

Rays of Sunshine is looking for a confident, ambitious and relationship-led Corporate Partnerships Manager to help manage and grow a portfolio of valued corporate supporters.

As our Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional stewardship across a portfolio of established and strategic corporate partnerships. You will develop tailored partnership plans, deepen engagement, increase income and secure sustainable, multi-year support.
The role will be approximately 70% focused on managing and growing existing partnerships and 30% focused on developing new business opportunities through warm introductions, established pipelines and collaboration with colleagues. You will work closely with the Head of Fundraising, wider Fundraising Team, Communications, Services and Events colleagues to ensure partners receive an excellent experience and feel connected to the impact of their support.
You will lead on partnership stewardship, employee fundraising, volunteering, sponsorship opportunities, impact reporting, renewal conversations and partnership growth. You will also help identify opportunities for corporate partners to engage with challenge events, special events, public fundraising campaigns and Wish Community experiences.
We are looking for someone with strong relationship management skills, experience achieving fundraising or commercial income targets, and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. You will be organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities, with excellent communication skills and a passion for creating meaningful partnerships.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Team: Delivery/ England
As a Project Officer, you will help local communities and schools choose active travel options such as walking, wheeling and cycling.
You will deliver a schools-based project across Portsmouth and work closely with schools, community groups and local partners. You may also recruit and support volunteers from Walk Wheel Cycle Trust, helping them contribute to the Trust's goals and objectives.
What You'll Be Doing
Plan and deliver activities and events that give people the knowledge, skills and confidence to choose active travel.
Build and maintain positive relationships with Active Travel Champions in schools and local authorities, providing advice and support.
Collect and share success stories, achievements and impact information to promote the work of Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.
Maintain accurate project records and monitor KPI and project performance data.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with young people in person and supporting them to understand and overcome the challenges that may prevent them from walking, wheeling, or cycling to school.
ABOUT YOU

Understanding of active travel and the barriers faced by people and communities experiencing inequality.
Knowledge of safeguarding principles and good practice.
Experience of managing small projects or delivering specific project activities and outcomes.
Experience of leading workshops and presenting information to a range of audiences, both online and in person.
The ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and adults at risk.
