About the role

About the role

You will work in partnership with CARE country offices, national and international partners, finance colleagues, and technical advisory teams to identify, scope, bid for and secure new funding for programmes through both grant and commercial contract modalities. You will deliver a high-quality bidding process, submitting applications to funders such as FCDO, DEC, START Fund, Education Cannot Wait, Jersey Overseas Aid Committee, and Power of Nutrition. You will build learning from existing CARE programmes into bid design and design programmes in line with CARE policies and standards, as well as donor standards.
About you
You are a passionate and experienced funding specialist, with a proven track record in fundraising from key UK donors – including solid experience of commercial bidding and FCDO frameworks, trusts and foundations and corporate donors. You will have the ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams during proposal preparation, working with partners and colleagues in multiple locations. You have experience in and very good understanding of programme design and meeting institutional and corporate donor requirements. You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Daylight Women’s Day Centre is an exciting new service providing a place of safety and support for women who are long term rough sleepers in London. We want to reach women who have experienced abuse, mental illness, addiction, poor physical health, unclear immigration status and homelessness. Our support will improve their health and wellbeing and enable them to move away from the streets.
Daylight has been designed based on findings from the CHAIN rough sleeping data for London and the Women’s Rough Sleeping Census. This evidence highlights the importance of single gender services for women who hide from mainstream provision dominated by men. What is Jamie’s Farm? Jamie’s Farm is a charity that supports young people by combining therapeutic work, farming, and purposeful activities to help them thrive. Through residential visits to our working farms, we provide a nurturing environment where young people can reflect, build confidence, and develop the resilience they need to overcome personal challenges.
Known internally as ‘Farm Coordinator’
As part of our close-knit, values-driven team, you’ll work alongside young people during feeding rounds, farming tasks, mealtimes and evening activities, while helping to maintain the high standards of animal welfare we expect across our farms. The role also includes on-call responsibilities for animal emergencies and some weekend duties linked to house lets and site security.

The programme is seeking an ambitious, experienced and highly organised Programme Co-ordinator to lead the delivery of the Pride in Place Programme in Immingham & Habrough . This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role in coordinating a community-led regeneration programme, ensuring local voices are at the heart of decision making and helping to create a lasting legacy for the area.
The successful candidate will provide visible place leadership, supporting the Neighbourhood Board to develop and deliver a 10-year Regeneration Plan and a 4-year Investment Plan. They will oversee programme governance, stakeholder engagement, project management, financial monitoring and compliance with government funding requirements.
