In addition to National Lottery funding, The National Lottery Community Fund distributes funding through the Dormant Assets scheme. Dormant Assets funding in Northern Ireland supports community organisations to become more sustainable and resilient, strengthening areas such as governance, digital capability and organisational development.
Background on Dormant Assets NI
In addition to being a distributor of National Lottery funding, The National Lottery Community Fund distributes money released for social purpose as laid out in the Dormant Bank and Building Society Accounts Act 2008 and the Dormant Assets Act 2022.
This legislation enables funds from dormant bank accounts and other financial products to be channelled towards good causes in the United Kingdom through an independent body called the Reclaim Fund.
Funds are distributed to The National Lottery Community Fund, which in turn makes them available for good causes in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Each devolved administration issues policy directions on how these funds are to be used.
The policy directions issued by the Department of Finance in September 2019 directed The National Lottery Community Fund to establish Dormant Assets NI to build capacity, resilience and sustainability in the third sector across Northern Ireland.
Responsibilities
Working within the Communications Strategy team, you’ll lead communications activity for Dormant Assets NI. You will focus on raising awareness of the programme, engaging with organisations and sector networks, and sharing learning and impact through a range of channels.
The role combines proactive communications, relationship building, and close working with Policy and Engagement colleagues to support meaningful engagement with the voluntary and community sector. Responsibilities will include:

The Finance Officer will play a key role in maintaining strong financial controls, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting the effective stewardship of resources across the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
Financial Operations
• Act as the first point of contact for finance-related queries, responding or escalating as appropriate
• Contribute to the effective day-to-day financial operations across the Church and associated entities

Role Description
The IPNEd Secretariat’s role is to ensure that IPNEd members can exercise their unique functions as Members of Parliament as effectively as possible to accelerate educational progress. Timely and effective internal and external communication is central to this work.
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Communications Officer to lead the delivery of content to expand IPNEd’s reach, grow audiences, and drive meaningful engagement with MPs and our wider stakeholders.

Essential skills and experience

Proven experience in a communications role within the not-for-profit, international development, or advocacy sectors.

Strong understanding of social media analytics to drive up engagement and increase our online visibility.
Familiarity with digital content tools (e.g. Adobe Suite, Canva).

Salary, benefits, and other key information
IPNEd is hosted by Results UK. The line manager for this role will be IPNEd’s Senior Policy & Advocacy Adviser.
1. Starting date
The position is available immediately, and is offered as an initial 12-month contract with the intention of being extended if funding permits.
2. Salary
This role is graded at Results Professional Level Two with a salary of £32,785 per annum.
3. Hours of work
This is a full time role 35 hours a week. These hours will be worked as agreed with the line manager, but some flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the job. There is no paid overtime, but Results UK offers a flexitime system for all staff.
4. Holidays
25 days per year plus bank holidays. Holidays increase by one day per year of service to a maximum of 30 days. Holidays are earned in arrears.
5. Notice Period and Probationary Period
This role has a one-month notice period. The employee will have a probationary period of three months, during which time the notice period is one week.
6. Location
The post is a hybrid role with the expectation that the postholder can work from Results’ office at Clarence Centre for Enterprise and Innovation, 6 St George’s Circus, London, SE1 6FE when required.
Currently, most Results UK staff are combining working from home with time in the office.
7. Travel
Occasional International travel will be required. The post holder must be able and willing to travel to Global North and Global South countries.
8. Additional Benefits
Staff joining Results are automatically enrolled in our company pension scheme unless they choose to opt out. A legally mandated minimum employee contribution applies, and all employee contributions to the pension are matched 1:1 by Results up to a maximum of 5% of gross salary.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity is looking for a Head of Impact and Grant Communications to lead a critical function during an important transition year for the organisation. This up to 12-month maternity cover role will provide leadership and continuity as we begin delivering against our new organisational strategy—helping ensure our teams, priorities and ways of working remain aligned, focused and effective.
This is a senior leadership role that sits at the heart of how the charity understands, measures and communicates its impact. Working across impact measurement, evaluation and grant communications, you’ll help shape how we tell the story of the difference our funding makes for seriously ill children and their families—using evidence, insight and storytelling to support strategic decision-making, fundraising and organisational priorities.
We’re looking for someone who can confidently lead through complexity and change: someone who brings strong judgement, emotional intelligence and the ability to create clarity in evolving environments. This role requires a collaborative and supportive leader who can empower specialist teams, build strong relationships across the organisation and maintain momentum across a broad and varied portfolio of work.
You do not need to be a deep technical specialist across every area of impact measurement or grant communications. What matters most is your ability to lead high-performing teams, connect people around shared goals and ensure important work continues to move forward with confidence and focus.

Salary
The salary for this role is £77,919 per annum and we operate a hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
In line with our EDI strategy and Total Reward policy, we calculate our salaries based on benchmarking data across the charity sector. To ensure fairness for existing staff and new joiners, we do not offer salaries above the advertised rate.
Note – this position is up to a 12 month fixed term contract.

We have a hybrid approach to working. Work pattern and location will be agreed with the successful candidate. As Head of Communications and Brand at the Harris Federation, you will shape and protect our public profile, leading strategic communications, marketing and media activity across a network of 55 academies.
