The Nook, Greenwich is a peer support project aiming to provide a safe and welcoming space for young people living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich (or those who have a GP within the borough) to connect with other young adults who have experienced mental health challenges.
We are recruiting a sessional Young Person's Peer Support Worker to co-lead the development and delivery of The Nook alongside our Peer Support Coordinator and a team of volunteers.
You will work with Peer Support Volunteers to plan and co-facilitate the groups in line with service user needs. You will have experience of group development, psychoeducation, collaborative working across service teams and an excellent understanding of service user engagement particularly with young people. You will be highly organised and be proficient with case management tasks and project management administration and take an active role in creating partnerships.
Groups will be held at the University of Greenwich premises and will run every week until March 2027, with hope of an extension of contract. We particularly want to increase engagement of under-served communities in Greenwich.
Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.

About the role
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the recruitment, onboarding, engagement and retention of volunteers across Woman's Trust.
Working closely with managers across the organisation, the postholder will oversee the end-to-end volunteer journey, ensuring volunteers receive a positive, inclusive and well-supported experience from application through to departure.

As a Support Worker at Ace of Clubs drop-in day centre supporting people who are homeless and facing adversity, you will play a key role in supporting individuals who may be navigating chaotic lifestyles, trauma, and multiple disadvantages. You will provide practical and emotional support, help people access essential services, and work to empower them to move towards independence.
Your role will involve working directly with service users, managing case records, liaising with partner agencies, and contributing to the smooth running of our busy centre. Ultimately, you will support people to overcome barriers, develop essential skills, and build confidence in navigating life challenges and providing advocacy where needed. In particular, you will be on duty as Support Worker during our busy, daily lunchtime service - responding to the needs of a variety of guests – on a busy day we can reach 150 – 200 guests visiting our service.
In addition, Ace of Clubs works with a wide range of volunteers and partners on a daily basis including food partners, health partners, corporate, individual and client volunteers. Your role will also be required to support the team in the smooth functioning of these areas, for example liaising with partners on site, showing around volunteers or feeding back any issues during lunch service.
You will also support with the operations and building’s co-ordination, including carrying out weekly health and safety checks as required, i.e. fire alarm checks, legionella checks etc., meeting onsite contractors, counting and logging cash takings, responding and filtering the central email account and making food and supplies orders. The Volunteer Coordinator (Nag’s Head Farm) will lead the recruitment, administration and support of volunteers for Camp Jojo’s Cumbria camps. As the main point of contact throughout the volunteer journey, they will manage applications, maintain databases, coordinate communications and ensure volunteers are successfully placed at camp.
Working closely with the Operations Manager and supported by the experienced team at Ivy Farm, Essex, the role also includes providing administrative support and attending volunteer-related meetings. We are SPEAR, a charity working tirelessly to end homelessness across South West London and beyond. We believe homelessness should be rare, brief, and non-recurring, and we work every day to make that a reality. Our services include street outreach, assessment hubs, supported accommodation, and tenancy support, helping people move off the streets and into safe, secure housing. ABOUT YOU
Working side-by-side with people who are homeless or at risk of it, you'll help them take charge of their journey — setting goals, building skills, and securing the stability of a tenancy they can call their own. Your day-to-day will span everything from crisis intervention and welfare benefits support to leading case reviews with partner agencies, all while managing a caseload with care and accuracy. You'll build the kind of trusting relationships that tackle isolation and exclusion head-on, working creatively and with emotional resilience to overcome whatever challenges arise. Make a meaningful difference with Catalyst and the Women’s Support Centre, helping women across Surrey build safety, recovery and independence through trauma-responsive advocacy.
We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Recovery Worker to provide high-quality support to women affected by substance use, trauma, multiple disadvantage, and contact with the criminal justice system. Working across Surrey, you will offer one-to-one and group support, manage a caseload, complete risk assessments and safeguarding referrals, and work closely with partner agencies to ensure women receive joined-up, person-centred support.
