About You & The Role

You are a natural builder who enjoys closing deals, developing relationships and creating meaningful social impact. You will shape and lead PBC’s first dedicated fundraising function, building a portfolio from the ground up with limited existing donor relationships.

The role focuses on securing six-figure corporate partnerships and cultivating high-net-worth individual donors, alongside a smaller trusts and foundations portfolio. You thrive in a strategic, relationship-led role and are comfortable using a broad range of fundraising approaches.

Working closely with the leadership team, you will secure funding to support long-term sustainability and expand PBC’s impact across London and beyond. Initially the sole fundraiser, you will have the opportunity to develop and lead a team as the function grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Fundraising Strategy Delivery: Take ownership of multi-year fundraising strategy working closely with the CEO and Board to diversify and increase revenue streams that support PBC’s service expansion and reach

• Relationship Management: Research, identify and cultivate funding opportunities from companies and high-net-worth individuals, alongside trusts and foundations

• Trusts & Foundations: Oversee the grant pipeline, with external support for high-value applications and build relationships with decision-makers

• Develop Compelling Fundraising Material: Collaborate with CEO and wider team to evidence, quantify and articulate PBC’s social value using data and storytelling to position PBC as a high-impact partner for donors and partners

• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and evaluate fundraising performance against financial and operational targets. Provide regular updates to the CEO and Board, ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations, sector and the Chartered Institute of Fundraising best practices

• Proactive Self Starter: Though collaborative, you are motivated to build and maintain momentum, identify and create opportunities and take full ownership of projects from initial idea to delivery

• Commercial Development: Support development, sales and delivery of commercial income strategy, specifically helping to grow the paid membership scheme and securing sponsorship for commercial programmes and offers

Worldwide Radiology is a registered charity working internationally creating and delivering solutions to enhance access to high quality and appropriate diagnostic imaging tests in low- and middle-income countries. 

We’re a small but busy team, mainly based in the UK, working remotely across several countries and time zones. Our work involves close collaboration with international hospitals, universities, and global health partners, with a team of volunteers delivering most of our projects.  We’re looking for a Programme Manager to develop and drive forward our project portfolio. 

Overview

The Programme Manager role is crucial to the success and development of the charity. You will be responsible for the management and delivery of 6+ Worldwide Radiology projects, operating across Malawi, Ghana and The Gambia.

The Programme Manager will be responsible for quickly grasping the needs of our ongoing programmes, steering them toward desired impact, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, monitoring our impact and managing risks effectively to continue effective delivery across the organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with key stakeholders, including our volunteers, partners and donors to build and nurture strong working relationships. 

They will contribute to seeking out further grant opportunities within the sector, working closely with the rest of the programmes team and the fundraising team.

The key responsibilities of this post are as follows:

1. Oversee the smooth running of our projects; 

2. Ensure consistent and appropriate monitoring and evaluation;

3. Provide strong, holistic solutions, focused on operational leadership; and 

4. Support the overall growth and development of the organisation.

Role-Specific Responsibilities

1. Provide overall day-to-day management for WWR projects and WWR volunteers, reporting directly to the WWR Director.

2. Oversee the development and operational execution of detailed work-plans and budgets for WWR programme activities. 

3. Track all project milestones, risks and reporting schedules, taking timely action to ensure they are addressed.

4. Co-ordinate and deliver project MEAL activities in accordance with our MEAL framework. 

5. Produce (gather, collate and edit) high quality, timely project progress, annual and donor-specific reports.

6. Oversee the management of partnership agreements, data management requirements and contracts in accordance with donor specific and legal requirements.

7. Support the identification and securing of new grant opportunities in collaboration with the programmes and fundraising teams.

8. Communicate administrative and technical information to WWR project partners in a timely, sensitive and effective manner.

9. Assist team members, volunteers, partners and members of the public with queries, demonstrating tact and understanding when dealing with complex and serious issues, delivering a consistently high and appropriate level of service and support to individuals contacting WWR.

10. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, induction and management of both UK and international WWR volunteers.

• Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.

Job Description

The Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) will play a crucial role in realising our ambitious plans as a charity. The postholder will be a member of our Senior Leadership Team (SLT), along with the CEO, Director of Development, Director of Programmes and Director of Fundraising and Communications. The DFO role is responsible for overseeing the financial health, operational effectiveness, and organisational infrastructure of the charity, ensures that the charity operates efficiently, ethically, and in compliance with all regulatory and fiduciary requirements. This role blends strategic financial leadership with hands-on operational management and is critical to enabling the charity to achieve its charitable programme as well as provide long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Management

• Provide strategic financial leadership, including long-range financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Develop and manage the organisation’s annual operating and capital budgets in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Manage the accounting functions, including payroll and pension, and month-end and year-end close.

This is a high impact role for someone who thrives on building relationships, unlocking income, and thinking creatively about partnerships that go beyond traditional models. You’ll lead a talented team and play a central role in a small but dynamic fundraising department.

As a Development Manager – Corporate and Philanthropy you will:

• Lead the development and implementation of a strategic plan to significantly grow corporate income.
• Research, identify and approach potential new corporate partners with bespoke, high-quality proposals and presentations.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high value opportunities, developing partnerships that align with companies’ CSR and employee engagement goals.
• Pitch confidently to senior stakeholders and boards, tailoring approaches to different audiences and sectors.
• Work closely with the Director of Fundraising to engage senior level supporters, trustees and major donors to open doors and secure transformational gifts.
• Oversee the stewardship of corporate supporters, ensuring they are engaged and recognised in meaningful ways.
• Support cross over opportunities where corporate leaders may also be cultivated as major donors.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications and operations colleagues to deliver creative, co-branded campaigns and impactful partnerships.

To be successful, you must have experience:

• Proven track record in securing five and six-figure corporate partnerships or comparable business development success.
• Experience writing and designing compelling partnership proposals and presentations.
• Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills with both corporate and philanthropic audiences.
• Ability to pitch with confidence to senior level decision makers.
• Strong collaboration skills, particularly with marketing/communications teams.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and effective pipeline reporting.
• Good understanding of the charity and corporate social responsibility landscape.

Desirable

• Previous experience in line management or mentoring.
• Experience working with major donors or high-net-worth individuals.

STOP THE TRAFFIK prevents vulnerable communities from being recruited, trafficked, and exploited. Our targeted prevention efforts disrupt the criminal business of human trafficking, making it too high-risk and low-profit to be viable.

As a core member of the Executive Team, the Director of Development will lead on organisational income generation and operational development. Working closely with the CEO, Presidents, this role will oversee all fundraising, partnerships, communications, and internal operations, ensuring STT is financially strong, strategically aligned, and operationally effective.

Leadership & Team Management

· Work closely with the CEO to deliver the organisation’s strategic plan, focusing on sustainable growth, financial health, and operational excellence.

· Work with the Presidents to grow funding and pro-bono support to scale organisational capacity for impact.

· Create and deliver a three-year development strategy, with a focus on diverse and sustainable income.

· Line manage and lead head of, manager, and project officer roles.

Fundraising & Partnerships

Governance & Impact Measurement

· Support the CEO and Board of Trustees through accurate reporting and transparent communication on performance.

Kineara is looking for someone who can grow our fundraising potential and engage key stakeholders across the sector, while delivering engaging communications and outreach campaigns that demonstrate our social value and grow our support base. They will play a key role in helping Kineara develop our newly formed charitable arm, alongside our community interest company, to generate income through engaging fundraising campaigns, impact-driven communications and strategic relationship-building with existing and potential funders.

You will work closely with project managers and SLT (Senior Leadership Team) to identify how support services can reduce barriers to secure housing, work and school; prevent evictions and homelessness; and improve health and wellbeing of people facing challenges. You’ll use this understanding to motivate new stakeholders to invest in our work - whether charitable trusts, corporate foundations or individuals.  

You will feel real ownership over your work and need to be self-starting, flexible and hungry to grow with an already impactful charity with a strong social mission and vision. You will be keen to understand how our work makes a difference to people and use our impact to demonstrate our social value.This role crosscuts a range of key charitable specialisms, so you may have experience working in communications and be keen to widen your skillset; you may have a background in impact evaluation; or you may have worked in fundraising or development for a non-profit. Job Description 

Communications 

• Develop, contribute to and implement impact-driven and strategic communications campaigns that build Kineara’s fundraising capacity and raise awareness of the issues 

• Develop brand identity for Kineara’s new charitable arm, ensuring it is consistent across all activities in the organisation, while maintaining Kineara’s overall ‘look and feel’ to ensure coherence in branding, colours, messaging, style and approach. 

• Manage the creation, development, distribution of compelling, impact-driven story-telling about Kineara’s work and beneficiaries using interviews, blogs, case studies, etc. 

• Use a range of platforms to distribute print and electronic content including, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, leaflets, posters reports, e-newsletters, and Kineara’s website 

• Work closely with IT and business managers to ensure smooth running of internal communications 

Fundraising 

• Develop positive relationships with a range of stakeholders providing funding to charities, including in the third sector, public sector, and the business sector, to raise awareness and promote our work 

• Write grant and tender applications, and manage and coordinate work of external consultants supporting grant writing process where applicable 

• Manage and administer online fundraising platforms, and develop accessible, persuasive campaigns for public donations.
