Contract: Permanent (Three month probationary period/job share review period)
Hours per week: 22.5 hours per week (Wednesday to Friday). You will be required to work in-person a minimum of one day per week, in line with our hybrid working model.

About the role:
We are looking for a media manager to work as a job share partner in our small, start-up style team on our public campaigning initiative. This role provides an exciting opportunity to jointly lead on our earned media approach, working to secure high-quality coverage of our campaigns and the Health Equals coalition across print, online and broadcast media to influence public opinion and political change.
In this role, you’ll use your skills to deliver our PR strategy for our upcoming public-facing campaigns, working alongside your job share partner to manage our PR agency partner, leading our press office function, building trusted relationships with journalists and influencers, and coordinating Health Equals member spokespeople and lived experience storytellers. Job Summary
As our Corporate and Community Partnerships Fundraiser, you will build meaningful relationships with businesses, community organisations and local people across Bristol, generating sustainable income and long-term support through corporates, community fundraising and events.
You will secure long-term, mutually beneficial income from the corporate sector across a range of disciplines and formats, including long-term partnerships, Charity of the Year, cause-related marketing and sponsorship. · Alongside the Public Fundraising Manager develop and manage Caring in Bristol’s approach to corporate fundraising, delivering the agreed targeted income

● Oversee Variety’s brand ensuring communications are accessible and consistent with style and tone of voice.
● Work with the Director of Fundraising and Communications to develop and deliver integrated marketing and brand awareness campaigns.

● Manager external freelance staff as needed, writing briefs and overseeing work including photographers, filmmakers, PR professionals and designers.

● Manage the Senior Social Media Officer overseeing objectives, holding 1-1s and annual appraisals.

MAIN BENEFITS, TERMS AND CONDITIONS
25 days holiday (we also normally give between Christmas and New Year off, but this is not contractual). In addition, after one year's continuous service, there will be an extra 2 days annual holiday for every complete year of service, up to a maximum of five days' extra holiday. About the role
The Development Team is responsible for generating income to support the organisation. They raise income from philanthropists, corporates, trusts and foundations, individuals and community fundraisers, building strategic partnerships that deliver long-term, sustainable funding and deepen engagement.
The Donor Communications Officer sits within the Development team and reports into the Head of Philanthropy and will work closely also with the President and COO, supporting them in their communications with donors. You will also work closely with the Communications Team.
You will create and coordinate compelling content for donors, this ranges from reports to presentations, emails and proposals, and collateral for events.
The scope is global, covering both philanthropy and a select group of key institutional donors.
