Job description

Be part of a global movement creating fairer trade and building a better future for people, planet and pay.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Advocacy Lead to drive Fairtrade Foundation’s parliamentary engagement and political influencing work. You'll build relationships with MPs, ministers and advocacy partners, provide political intelligence, coordinate coalition activity and help turn Fairtrade Foundation’s policy priorities into political action.

Working across campaigning, media and policy, you'll help ensure Fairtrade remains a trusted and influential voice on trade justice, sustainability and the issues affecting farmers and workers globally.

About you

You'll bring experience in public affairs, parliamentary engagement or advocacy, alongside strong stakeholder management skills, political awareness and the ability to respond confidently in fast-moving environments.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to influence decision-makers, shape public policy and help create lasting change for farming communities around the world.

Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

We're committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong and can thrive, and we warmly welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and ages, especially those underrepresented in our sector, including Black, Asian and other ethnic minority communities, disabled people, people of faith, and LGBTQ+ people.

Ready to use your advocacy expertise to help build a fairer world? We'd love to hear from you.

Please note that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.
