Job description

Family Rights Group is seeking a talented Fundraising Officer with excellent relationship-building, administrative and organisational skills to strengthen the charity’s fundraising capacity.

This role will include a wide range of responsibilities and tasks aimed at increasing the profile and impact of our work, in the areas of research, donor management and engagement, drafting applications and partnership building, with the goal of diversifying and increasing our funding streams.

This is a very exciting time to join the charity. Last year we launched a bold 10-year strategy setting out how we will transform the child welfare system. We have recently secured a multi-million pound investment to scale up delivery of Lifelong Links, our most recognised programme, nationally.

As Fundraising Officer, you will help implement our fundraising strategy by focusing on a number of areas to support with, including trusts and foundations and events.

This is a permanent contract, with a start date as soon as possible.

Family Rights Group’s vision is a society in which families can thrive and all children have loving relationships to turn to throughout life.

Our mission is to ensure that the child welfare and family justice system support children to live safely and thrive within their family, while strengthening the family and community ties of those children who cannot live at home.

Founded in 1974, our work combines commitment to human rights and social justice with expertise in child welfare law, policy and practice.

We are seeking a talented Fundraising Officer with excellent relationship-building, administrative and organisational skills to strengthen the charity’s fundraising capacity.
