About the role

We’re looking for a Learning and Development Advisor (known internally as People Development Advisor) with design, facilitation and training delivery experience to join our People Development Team

We’re on the lookout for a curious, creative and proactive Learning and Development Advisor to help shape, deliver and elevate the learning culture across Young Lives vs Cancer.

You’ll play a key role in supporting our people to grow, develop and thrive—ensuring everyone has access to engaging, meaningful and impactful learning opportunities that help them do their best work for young people with cancer.

A significant part of your role will involve co-developing learning content with internal subject matter experts, ensuring their specialist insights are translated into accessible, high-quality development experiences. You’ll also co-design and deliver in‑house training, including digital skills programmes (such as SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams) and core management development for our people managers—covering areas like delegation, decision-making, problem-solving and effective objective‑setting.

Working closely with the People Development Manager and colleagues across the organisation, you’ll help drive our development priorities forward, champion great learning experiences, and ensure our people have the skills and knowledge they need—now and for the future.

What will I be doing?

No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing, but you’ll find more details in the job description.

• Train and develop our people managers by delivering or facilitating core management skills sessions such as delegation, decision-making, problem-solving and effective objective‑setting
• Shape and deliver high‑quality learning by developing engaging learning experiences using the 70:20:10 model and collaborate with internal experts to create guides, resources and tools that support onboarding and continuous learning.
• Support and enable the design and delivery (alongside our AI and UX learning lead) of our in‑house training around digital skills, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and other M365 tools—helping colleagues use our digital systems confidently and effectively - turning technical or specialist knowledge into clear, engaging and practical learning experiences for a wide range of colleagues.
• Maintain and evolve our digital learning offer, including mandatory e‑learning, digital platforms and resources—ensuring everything is accessible, engaging and aligned with our values.
• Maximise external partnerships, including pro bono support and supplier relationships.
• Lead on apprenticeship and Skills & Growth Levy activity, supporting learners and aligning levy use to business needs.
• Use evaluation and data to drive improvement, ensuring learning is evidence‑based, impactful and continuously evolving.

Prospectus is recruiting for a Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer for a UK-based charity that provides free, confidential support to people who are grieving after the death of someone close to them.

The Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer will be responsible for proactively securing and growing income from a large portfolio of charitable trusts and foundations, working collaboratively with funders and teams across the organisation to develop and submit compelling proposals. The postholder will ensure high quality applications focused on an agreed range of cases for support, funder reporting, and prospect research.

They are looking for someone with significant experience in successfully securing income from trusts and foundations including demonstrable experience of securing four and five figure grants. You will be experienced in managing a large portfolio of funders, with a high level of autonomy.

You'll play a key role in and running and engaging in group activities — including our much-loved activity sessions and Carer Support Session — creating safe, inclusive spaces where people can connect, share, and feel less alone. Part of the role will also require visiting service users in their own home, to provide face to face support. You'll also be responsible for keeping detailed and accurate records of your work, updating our CRM system with confidential notes to ensure the highest standard of care and continuity for every person we support. you're reaching out to people by phone, or facilitating a group, every interaction matters — and you'll be there to make it count.

About the Role

We are seeking an individual to undertake the dual role of promoting the profile of the RAF Benevolent Funds welfare offer, whilst also carrying out welfare casework. This is a community-based position working from home but covering the South Wales region.

Post holders will be expected to undertake holistic assessment of need both remotely (over the telephone and online) and when required in person across their region. You will be expected to work with individuals who may have complex and sometimes challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within both the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector, ensuring that support is made available to meet their need through the case working process.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals and will have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of issues affecting the Armed Forces community.

This is home based and the candidate must have their own vehicle for use of traveling around the region covered. Occasional travel to London will be required.

My client, a well known charity, is looking to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant to join them for a period of 18 months. Working as part of the financial reporting team, your role will be to work on a project focused on providing financial expertise and support to the team with the 2026 Charities SORP, based on updated FRS 102, which introduces mandatory changes for accounting periods. The role is being offered on a fixed term basis and will be focused on the transition to new accounting standards and statutory reporting.

To be considered for the role you will need to have a recognised accountancy qualification and be a strong team player with analytical skills. You will also need to be well versed in the FRS 102 changes, including Income Recognition, Three Tier Reporting and Leases.

The role is being offered on a home working basis and an 18 month fixed term contract. The salary on offer is £50,000 to £60,000.

You will work with and support health and social care professionals with projects and programmes, equipping them with the latest tools, resources, evidence and data to develop and improve services for people with Parkinson’s. Purpose of the post

The Finance Business Partner plays a crucial role within HDR UK, as the key point of contact and financial support for the Institute Office teams. The Finance Business Partner supports key non- finance stakeholders to provide timely and insightful analysis and reporting and supports with the alignment of financial plans to operational and strategic priorities. The role will support the Institute Office as well as some of our separately funded programmes. The Finance Business Partner is responsible for the management of the Institute’s support costs and recharges, and therefore plays a pivotal role in the long-term financial sustainability of HDR UK. The role is responsible for maintaining clear and effective communication between the Finance team and the wider business and for ensuring that financial concepts and priorities are understood by the Institute Office and programme teams.

Main responsibilities

• Work with Budget Holders to manage financial performance, forecasts, and budgeting including understanding financial opportunities and risk for the area of business partnership.

• Lead on monthly reporting to the Institute Office and Programme teams, including posting month end journals, meeting with Budget Holders to discuss performance and budget variance and providing commentary and analysis on reports.

Our Central Executive Team supports this work and is divided into four directorates.

This role reports to the Methods Support Manager and sits within the Methods Support team in the Evidence Production and Methods Directorate.

Key areas of responsibility include: 

• Providing advanced methodological advice/support to high priority reviews  

• Providing advanced methodological advice and support to colleagues in the Evidence Production and Methods Directorate as required;  

• Providing methods and statistical peer review on reviews submitted to the Central Editorial Service as required;  

• Supporting the development of editorial resources for reviews that use complex methods   

• Developing guidance and resources on statistical topics  

The successful candidate is expected to have: 

• Post-graduate degree in medical statistics  

• Involvement in epidemiology or statistical research   

• Familiarity with statistical methods used in pairwise and network meta-analysis and with general evidence synthesis methods  

• Familiarity with methods used for the synthesis of non-randomised studies  

• Good understanding of appraising different study designs   

• Familiarity with best practices in the statistical analysis of different study designs

The RunFree Accelerator (RFA), launched in October 2025, is Global Clubfoot Initiative’s flagship programme to accelerate progress towards the shared vision in our RunFree2030 strategy: that all children with clubfoot will get the treatment they need to walk, play and run free. You will be working with a highly experienced, knowledgeable and motivated team in a friendly and supportive environment

In this role, you will focus on:

· Member Engagement (25%)

o Facilitate member engagement, including onboarding, communication, meeting facilitation, and follow-up.

o Foster relationships, encourage engagement from, and coordinate support for our 60+ member NGO’s globally

o Creating and using systems to measure and report on key member engagement metrics

· RunFree Accelerator Coordination and Support (75%), supporting work on all three of our RFA Areas: Integration, Capacity Building and Knowledge and Evidence. This will involve a variety of tasks day to day, including:

o Support advocacy initiatives by conducting research into key issues and interests and relationship building with organisations and networks  in relevant sectors to advance RunFree2030.

o Report writing, including grant management and reporting

o Support research, data collection and analysis 

o Communications – particularly member-focussed, including meetings, presentations, written documents, emails and other forms of communication

o Support events planning including on-line and in-person symposia, webinars, workshops, and working groups; promote member coordination and engagement

o Assist in organising and distributing resources, toolkits, and guidance documents to members and partners.

o Gain and share insights into our members’ needs and strengths that will contribute to successful programmes

o Collaborate with RFA team for monitoring and evaluation of RFA activities, measuring progress and addressing operational challenges

Essential:

• Demonstrated experience of working in a similar context to that of our members in the majority world in Latin America, Africa or Asia.
• Able to understand and anticipate our members’ unique contexts, strengths and challenges
• 3-5 years’ experience of working in global health or development in a programme delivery role
• Strong project management skills with proven experience coordinating activities across a team, keeping team members accountable to timeline and deliverables

• Proven communication skills in different formats and effectively able to communicate with people from a wide variety of background, contexts and cultures

Role outline and purpose

The Head of External Relations leads strategic engagement and influencing activities to ensure hunger and hardship remain a priority for key external audiences, to build the breadth and depth of support needed to help end the need for food banks.  This role engages and influences target stakeholders in government, business, civil society and faith communities to prioritise hunger and hardship in their decisions and actions.

This role is part of Trussell’s Prioritising Hunger and Hardship programme, the goal of which is to keep hunger and hardship at the forefront of conversations and decision making – both amongst the public and key individuals and organisations relevant to our cause.  This role is focused on the successful delivery of the overall programme outcomes, contributing to the fulfilment of our long-term vision of a UK without the need for food banks.

Role responsibilities

· Leading the organisation’s external influencing strategy to shape key conversations, decisions, and activities among target audiences to ensure hunger and hardship remain a national priority.  Working closely with colleagues across the organisation focused on influencing and advocacy with relevant stakeholders (e.g. policymakers, advice sector, local authorities).

· Develop and maintain high-impact senior relationships with key parliamentarians, civil servants, faith leaders, youth organisations, the wider charitable food sector and other partners to build strategic support and unlock change.

· Oversee targeted engagement programmes that deepen collaboration with, and activate, key stakeholders and organisations to build and amplify the long-term wide-ranging support needed to end the need for food banks – including youth and wider civil society organisations, charitable food providers and faith communities.

· Shape and support coalitions that align around shared priorities, build a unified narrative, and strengthen the collective voice of organisations working to support people facing hunger and hardship.

· Act as an external spokesperson representing the organisation in media, at external events and high-level meetings and through written commentary.

· Provide team leadership, direction, support and line management.  This will include regular 1:1s and reviews to ensure object and targets are met.

Role Purpose:

Responsible Finance is the membership association for the UK’s Community Development Finance Institutions (CDFIs). CDFIs are community lenders, committed to delivering positive social impact, and offer fair and affordable finance to businesses, social enterprises and to people unable to access it elsewhere.

This is a pivotal moment to be joining the CDFI sector. Responsible Finance and CDFIs are poised for exciting growth following two record-breaking funding announcements in late 2024 which has seen the sector backed by Government and leading financial institutions including the British Business Bank and JPMorgan Chase. This follows Lloyds Banking Group becoming the first mainstream lender to invest in the CDFI sector earlier in the year.

The Government has also announced it is backing Responsible Finance to develop a roadmap for growth, and a new APPG for CDFIs has been set up with the official launch set for May 2026.

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to ensure that CDFIs from all sectors receive the policy and regulatory support they need to thrive.

You will manage key aspects of Responsible Finance’s policy work including consultation responses, briefings, MP outreach and building a supportive network of MPs, and writing articles to highlight key issues with the Government and our stakeholders. You will also lead on the production of RF’s annual impact report.

No prior knowledge about CDFIs is required so long as you have a keen interest to learn about the sector and are passionate about increasing access to fair finance for businesses, underserved communities and people.  Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a candidate experienced in Policy to take forward our work with the Government and other stakeholders on supporting the growth and resilience of the UK’s Community Development Finance Institutions.

• Policy: Supporting Responsible Finance’s work with the Government including on key initiatives such as the CDFI roadmap, the new APPG for CDFIs, and managing relationships with key departments such as Department for Business and Trade, HM Treasury, and the Financial Conduct Authority, as well as relationships at a policy level with partner organisations.
• Representation: Attending events and roundtables representing Responsible Finance.
• Consultation responses: Identifying and responding to Government and other stakeholder consultations to advocate for the CDFI sector, working closely with members to inform your responses.
• MP Engagement: lead Responsible Finance’s programme of MP outreach to continue to build a base of supportive MPs and peers within parliament.
• Partnership working: Contributing to relevant campaigns and policy forums to strengthen Responsible Finance’s influence on policies that impact the sector.
• Communications: Write clear and engaging policy briefs, reports, and articles to communicate Responsible Finance’s priorities to the Government and other stakeholders. This includes writing a monthly stakeholder newsletter article.
• Impact report: Lead on Responsible Finance’s annual member Impact Report, published annually in May.
• APPG: Spearhead Responsible Finance’s role as secretariat for the new APPG for CDFIs.
• Horizon scanning: Monitor the latest research, track political debates and identify new policy developments in the areas of community finance, inclusive growth and financial inclusion.

An understanding of CDFIs would be helpful but is not essential.
