The Policy and Public Affairs Manager will join our management team and lead on developing our policy positions and engaging with parliament and government.

Role overview
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week); working part-time (minimum 21 hours) will be considered. Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends will be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.
Salary: Starting at £46,000 with a potential step increase each year up to £51,253 (pro rata if working part time), plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. We also try to give a separate inflationary increase every April.
Location: Remote or from Rainbow Migration’s step-free offices which are based in London between Vauxhall and the Oval. Hybrid working will also be considered and can be agreed with the line manager as per our hybrid working policy. The successful candidate could work from anywhere in the UK but would be expected to occasionally travel to London and other parts of the country for meetings and events. Annual Leave: Initially 25 days per year. After two years of employment, this will increase by one day per year up to a maximum of 28 days (pro rata if working part-time).

We are looking for someone who is excited to support young refugees from 11 – 25 yrs. old living in Croydon. Young refugees have a unique and complex lived experience and need a range of different support that should be tailored to their needs. We deliver trauma informed, relational and humanistic mental health interventions and to help young refugees navigate their experiences in a new life and environment and to build their resilience and ability to use mental health resources and tools to gain insight into their emotions, feelings and behaviours. Digital Fundraising Officer - 12-month Maternity Cover
The Veterans' Foundation is entering its second decade with a clear ambition to build a more sustainable, diversified and data-led fundraising model. Following ten years of rapid growth driven primarily through lottery acquisition, the organisation is now evolving its approach to strengthen supporter engagement, improve retention and maximise fundraising performance across a wider range of income streams.
This role will play an important part in that transition. Principal Duties

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a senior leadership role, shaping and delivering innovative, data-led marketing strategies that directly support the recruitment of foster carers and adoptive parents across the UK.
As part of this pivotal role, you will lead the development of integrated national and regional marketing strategies and campaigns, ensuring they deliver against ambitious recruitment targets. Over the next five years of Battersea's income generation strategy, we are projecting significant income growth from Philanthropy, Partnerships & Commercial (PP&C). The Partnerships Marketing Manager will help Battersea strengthen our high-value supporter and partner relationships to unlock more value, meet income targets and contribute to overall brand and income generation objectives.
The Partnerships Marketing Manager will act as a central bridge between Marketing & Communications (M&C) and PP&C teams. The role will provide strategic oversight of high-value donor and partnerships marketing objectives, marketing activity, creative output and evaluation, so that outputs are aligned, timely and effective. This will ensure that our campaigns are integrated, our partnerships are elevated, and our commercial offer is optimised.
The role will develop and deliver high-value donor and partnership marketing strategies and plans and maximise opportunities to amplify Battersea’s key messages through our partnerships and reach new audiences. This role will focus exclusively on income-raising partners and donors (corporate partners, licensees, high value donors and large institutional funders) and will embed best-practice B2B/B2C partnership marketing across planning, assets, campaign integration and evaluation.

Purpose of the role
In 2027 we will host our prestigious Global Congress. Held every four years, Congress convenes eminent leaders invested in global consumer rights and empowerment. This includes the heads of the leading consumer advocacy organisations, ministers and senior government representatives, leaders in civil society, executives at top businesses, prominent academics, and visionaries from philanthropic and international institutions.
Congress is critical to the mission of Consumers International. It is crucial for our governance, as the basis for our General Assembly, where our Membership elects the governing Council of Consumers International. Around this procedural milestone, we structure a participatory, diverse and unique programme that is designed to build and advance the future of consumer rights advocacy worldwide. Our last Congress brought together over 600 participants, including more than 100 at C-suite level, and was a platform for releasing new insight and announcing major partnerships. It featured over 30 interactive sessions taking place over three days in person and online, with extremely high satisfaction and feedback ratings from participants.
To drive forward our planning and delivery for our next Congress in 2027, we are looking for an exceptional Lead, Flagship Events. This person will be the organisational lynchpin for Congress, working directly with our Leadership Team at Consumers International to produce and execute a clear event plan according to ambitious milestones and key performance indicators.
The Lead will project manage and mobilise the wider Consumers International team to deliver the 2027 Congress, building a relationship with the host government and playing an essential part in producing a dynamic event that excites and inspires attendees. The Lead will bring strong leadership, coordination and project management skills to the role. They will have best-in-class relationship building and negotiation skills, experience dealing with senior stakeholders, and will have delivered major impactful events in the past.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Develop and drive delivery of a comprehensive Congress project plan with clear milestones, dependencies and performance indicators
Lead execution of the project plan, ensuring and mobilising the team to exert discipline against deadlines, priorities and organisational goals
Manage the Congress budget, including oversight of host government allocations and financial reporting
Co-ordinate the wider Consumers International team around Congress delivery, ensuring clear ownership, accountability and decision-making across workstreams
Monitor and report on progress against key milestones, risks, participant targets and budget performance, escalating where needed
Lead post-event evaluation and debrief, capturing insights and recommendations to strengthen future flagship events
Relationship management and negotiation
Manage a strong and trusted relationship with the host government, ensuring effective coordination and resolution of issues that arise
Lead negotiations and relationships with venues, suppliers and delivery partners to secure high-quality delivery within budget
Build and support leadership at Consumers International to establish trusted relationships with senior stakeholders participating in Congress, including across government, Members, sponsors, speakers and strategic partners
Event logistics and delivery
Lead planning and oversight of major logistical components of Congress, including venue, accommodation, transport, catering, accessibility and interpretation to support a seamless participant experience
Lead onsite event management, troubleshooting and issue resolution during Congress delivery
Event systems and governance
Oversee the implementation of systems and processes required for successful Congress delivery, including registration and reporting
Coordinate planning for the General Assembly and governance components of Congress, this includes supporting senior management at Consumers International to coordinate on voting processes, member participation and associated systems
Participant experience and organisational leadership
Lead Congress planning discussions across the organisation, mobilising the team and ensuring strong communication, coordination and momentum across teams
Help shape a dynamic, participatory, safe and inspiring Congress experience that reflects Consumers International’s ambition and global leadership
Work closely with Leadership Team to support delivery of a high-profile global event with significant reputational and strategic importance, including through the delivery of an impactful programme

BCYP has historically been very successful in raising funds from non-statutory sources, particularly trusts and foundations, and is grateful to hold a number of established relationships with grant-makers. To build on our track record, we are now looking to recruit a new member of the team, to help us to grow our income stream in this area and help us to steward key relationships.
In this exciting new role, you will play a key part in growing and sustaining our income from trusts and foundations. Your responsibilities will include identifying funding opportunities and potential grant-makers, designing and developing compelling funding proposals, promoting these opportunities, and managing relationships with supporters throughout the entire funding cycle.
We’re looking for someone with energy, motivation, and experience to be able to make an instant and vital impact on the organisation; someone who can understand the big picture, has good attention to detail and can make things happen. The successful candidate is expected to be a fundraiser with at least two years of experience in identifying trust and foundation prospects and writing proposals, has a track record of success in securing funds and stewardship with trusts and foundations. Vitally, we want to recruit an individual who is as committed to Brent’s vision, and who will work with us to help us be there for young people in the coming years.
