Alexandra Rose run practical place-based food system transformation projects based around a voucher for fresh fruit & veg. We currently have 9 projects across the UK, and we’re aiming to scale in the coming years. The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Fundraiser to join our team. Your role will primarily involve building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, aiming to secure financial support for the organisation. You will be responsible for implementing fundraising strategies, coordinating campaigns, and developing strong connections with businesses in order to generate income and meet targets.
Additionally, you will contribute to the overall growth and sustainability of the charity by identifying new corporate partnership opportunities and fostering existing relationships.
The role will also include:
- Develop and manage long-term corporate partnerships.
- Research and approach new business prospects.
- Create compelling proposals and presentations to inspire support.
- Collaborate across Income Generation teams to develop joint initiatives to maximise impact.
- Represent St Richard’s Hospice at networking events, presentations, and public engagements to expand corporate networks and raise St Richard’s profile within the business community
This role will be based at the Hospice, Wildwood Drive, Worcester.
This role requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service check.
About you
You will bring,
- Proven track record of meeting fundraising or sales targets and securing financial support from corporates.
- Excellent networking and communication skills — confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
- A good understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and how businesses can partner with charities.
- Demonstrate financial acumen to effectively manage budgets, track fundraising progress and evaluate the impact of corporate partnerships
- Strong organisational and presentation skills, with a proactive and resilient approach.
- Full driving licence and ability to travel across Worcestershire

Our service is unique to each service user as it is based upon their personal circumstances and support needs. You will offer support to your clients in a variety of ways, whether in the client's own home, or at other locations in the community, face to face, by phone, letter, or email. You will need
- The confidence and ability to communicate with a wide range of people, adapting your approach to ensure understanding. You will be required to speak publicly at events about dementia, delivering information and signposting people to further resources and networks.
- The ability to support people affected by a diagnosis of dementia to maintain their independence, improve their sense of well-being, and help them take more control of their lives.
- You will be able demonstrate your skills being proactive, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a local team.
- Strong IT skills for inputting detailed, factual case records on a client database and using virtual meeting software (Teams / Zoom). The ability to travel across local area independently and wider area on occasions.
What you’ll focus on:
- Your primary role will be in delivering personalised and tailored support to people affected by dementia. This could include the person living with dementia, carer, family or friends.
- Being a named, trusted contact for people affected by dementia, enabling them to access vital services whilst improving people’s sense of well-being, ultimately giving them more control over their lives and decisions.
- Managing your own caseload of clients and referring people to the appropriate health and social care organisations when required, which will include safeguarding’s.
- Providing advice and guidance at local peer groups, specific dementia groups and community networks, whilst looking out for new opportunities to promote the service and maintain the profile of dementia services across the area.

The Supporter Engagement Lead is a newly established role responsible for increasing income from individual supporters by project managing audience led appeals and campaigns, devising and delivering compelling supporter journeys that grow long-term engagement and income for the charity. As well as informing decision making and future strategy and planning through the development of detailed reporting, analysis and insight.
This role will be take ownership of the end-to-end planning, delivery and optimisation of supporter communications across multiple channels. Working with a high degree of autonomy, the postholder will translate strategy into action, ensuring supporters receive timely, relevant and inspiring communications that deepen their connection to the charity and encourage sustained support.
