INTRODUCTION

As set out in the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust’s 2025-30 Strategy, the NCN Directorate leads on the building of a walking, wheeling and cycling network that brings everyone closer to the places and people they love. The Directorate is organised into four distinct teams: Planning; Engagement; Delivery (England); Delivery (Scotland, Cymru and Northern Ireland). This role sits within the Delivery team in England. Regular travel will be required. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

Team: Delivery/ England

In this role, you are a senior leader responsible for driving major portfolios and programmes that support the National Cycle Network. You work closely with the Head of Delivery for England to make sure projects are well‑managed, stay within budget, and are completed on time. Your work must align with the organisation’s strategy and business plan.

You provide strategic direction, oversee programmes and projects, plan effectively, and build strong relationships with partners. You also lead and support your team to ensure that the work is high‑quality and sustainable.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys programme, project and budget management, motivating teams and building relationships with stakeholders.

The Executive Director, Fundraising will play a key organisational leadership role - modelling Mencap’s values, contributing to cross‑organisational transformation and championing belonging, equity, diversity and inclusion. AoD’s Employment Service

The Action on Disability Employment Service is setting the agenda for disability employment across London with great results. We are at the forefront of setting up and delivering supported internships for Disabled young people. We provide an holistic service from management and employer engagement to hands-on, supervised support work across all sites.

Our Employment Service welcomes external referrals and offers support for Disabled people via our in-work support service.

We are looking to recruit several support workers to expand our pool.

The Post

The purpose of the job is to provide face to face support work and guidance to Disabled people within their workplaces. The post holder will provide the necessary support and encouragement to enable them to be successful, which will lead, eventually, to independence. The post holder will also work closely with, and take guidance from, their supervisor within AoD. They will work closely with the employer of the Disabled person to ensure the employer has the skills and confidence to manage and train their intern/employee.

Main duties and responsibilities

• To work face-to-face with individual Disabled people, under the guidance of their AoD Supervisor, in accordance with their personalised support plans
• To be fully cognitive of the workplace of the Disabled person to identify the requirements of key tasks
• To follow bespoke Support Plans plans which will enable the Disabled person to fulfil their role to meet the requirements of the employer
• To provide weekly feedback to their AoD Supervisor to ensure continued progression, identifying new areas in need of support, and advising on the amendment of support plans accordingly
• Together with their Supervisor, to plan, discuss and implement a timely reduction of support as and when the Disabled individual becomes familiar and competent with their role
• To negotiate note disability-related reasonable adjustments required for individuals and feedback to their AoD Supervisor
• To liaise with managers to discuss individual progress, respond to issues and implement next steps

About the Project:

From Past to Present is an oral history project which will collect and share personal stories of people with learning disabilities and the professionals who worked with them in Kent, focusing on how support surrounding relationships and sexuality have changed in the past four decades. The project will train social care staff to become oral history interviewers, record interviews, and share this heritage through a public exhibition, events and a professional creative performance. The project is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and delivered in partnership with a range of local organisations.

About the role:

We are looking for a proactive and organised Project Manager to lead the From Past to Present project on a fixed term contract (22 months). This is an exciting opportunity to coordinate an inclusive oral history project that brings together multiple partners and celebrates the stories of people with learning disabilities.

You will oversee timelines, budgets, and outputs, making sure everything runs smoothly and meets funder expectations. You will manage a small team, work closely with partners, and ensure that all materials, from the website to public events, are clear, accessible, and reflect the values at the heart of the project.

This role is perfect for someone with strong project management skills, knowledge of social care, and experience working with people with learning disabilities. A background in research, or community projects would be an advantage.

Hours:

This is a part-time role, 22.5 hours per week, with flexible working arrangements. Some evening or weekend work may be needed for events, but we will always plan ahead and support you to balance your time.

Location:

Hybrid working is available. You will work from your home in Kent and attend in person activities at locations including Maidstone and Canterbury. Travel across Kent will be part of the role and therefore a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is desirable.

About You:

You are organised, confident, and passionate about inclusion. You have experience managing projects and budgets, building partnerships, and working with people with learning disabilities. You can lead a team, communicate clearly, and keep everything on track.

You will need:

About the role:

Lead the Scheme Oversight function to ensure the Motability Scheme consistently delivers choice, value for money and excellent customer service for disabled people. The role includes setting the Oversight strategy, developing the Scheme’s performance management framework, reporting on performance to internal/external parties and assisting/managing key stakeholder relationships across Motability Foundation, Motability Operations and Government departments. 

What you will be doing:

Policy and Planning: 

• Monitor UK Government policy and proposals with material impact on the Scheme; coordinate Motability’s position and implications for Oversight. 

• Lead annual Oversight strategy refresh and contribute to Motability’s Strategic Plan. 

• Chair (or deputise for Director at) Scheme Oversight governance forums and ensure well‑prepared agendas, papers and decisions flow to Governors and SOC. 

• Undertake ad hoc projects to develop Motability or Scheme services as required. 

Governance & Performance Monitoring: 

• Manage the contractual relationship between Motability Foundation and its service providers in a collaborative manner. 

• Own the Oversight performance framework (KPIs, targets, thresholds) and coordinate performance reporting activities to provide monthly updates to key stakeholders. 

• Lead operational reviews of Motability Operations’ delivery, commissioning deep dives where issues or opportunities are identified. 

• Sponsor customer satisfaction and experience measurement across Scheme services, ensuring findings inform improvements.

• Act as a liaison between Motability Foundation and Motability Operations, ensuring collaborative & effective oversight.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will look after the organisation’s IT systems every day. This includes both on‑premise systems and cloud‑based systems. You will also handle advanced technical support when issues are escalated. 

Another key part of your job is helping to plan and deliver IT projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide technical support and carry out daily maintenance on the organisation’s IT systems and applications
• Act as the technical lead for IT projects that support the organisation’s overall IT strategy
• Handle complex technical issues that the IT support team cannot resolve
• Lead the setup, maintenance, and administration of the organisation’s hardware, software, and core systems

• You’ll be "tech-literate” and will be comfortable using databases (CRMs) and proficient in using a range of Microsoft software.
