We are looking for someone who is excited to help expand and develop this project even further. As a Project Coordinator, you will be delivering informal educational workshops in secondary schools, working within a vibrant team of experienced educators, as well as managing day to day administration to ensure the smooth running of the project. Moreover, you will have the chance to collaborate with a range of exciting partners including other anti-discrimination organisations and other stakeholders in the field of hate crime.

Stand Up! Education Against Discrimination brings Jewish & Muslim educators into the classroom to facilitate informal conversations with young people.​ By creating a safe space and through free interactive workshops, students are empowered to learn about and act against racism and discrimination with a specific focus on antisemitism and anti-Muslim hate. Young people are provided with the tools on how to report hate crime, whilst developing their sense of social responsibility to their local communities and British society as a whole.

The programme has reached over 150,000 young people across the country since its inception in 2017 and has received recognition from the Mayor of London, Sir Sadiq Khan, who funds the programme through the Shared Endeavour Fund. Workshops are delivered by expert facilitators who create a safe space for young people to debunk myths and misconceptions about the Muslim and Jewish communities.

Freelands Foundation is looking for a HR Manager to deliver and oversee Freelands Foundation’s people strategy to enable the Foundation to achieve its ambitious strategic objectives. We are looking for a warm, thoughtful and organised Dementia Adviser to join our supportive team in hull working 35 hours per week, on a fixed term contract until 31st March 2027, working 8am - 4pm. 

You will work closely with people living with dementia and those who care about them, providing ongoing support. You will listen carefully, understand what matters most to each person and offer guidance that helps them feel steadier and more confident as their situation changes.

Our Hospital Dementia Adviser provides vital support to people living with dementia during their hospital stay. You’ll work directly with individuals who have a dementia diagnosis and their families, helping them understand their situation, navigate hospital processes, and plan a safe and confident discharge home with the right support in place.

This is a hospital-based role that involves regular walking between wards and departments. You will work closely with the wider Local Services Team to ensure that people are smoothly connected to ongoing support in the community once they leave the hospital.

Although there is no direct personal or clinical care involved, this role is all about offering high-quality advice, guidance, and emotional support. You will collaborate with hospital staff, volunteers, and external partners to ensure that people affected by dementia receive the right information and feel supported throughout their journey.

We operate a triage system for new referrals and you will play your part in making sure people are responded to quickly and thoughtfully. You will manage your own caseload, keeping clear and accurate records, while always seeing the person behind the paperwork.
You will be part of a caring and dynamic local team who share ideas, reflect together and support one another. There will be time to meet as a team and opportunities to keep growing your knowledge of dementia, with your manager and colleagues alongside you.

About you 

We are looking for someone compassionate, organised, and confident working in a busy hospital environment.

- Have an understanding of dementia and the needs of people living with dementia (experience with other health conditions or support needs will also be considered).
- Be comfortable moving around a hospital sites at Hull Royal Information and Castle Hill Hospitals and engaging with people in a fast-paced setting.
- Be comfortable providing information, guidance, advice or emotional support - this could be from health, social care, community, voluntary, customer service or other people focused roles.
- You will be able to listen and communicate, with the ability to build trust and rapport with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Be able to manage your workload effectively, with appropriate support and tools, and to balance competing priorities.
- Confidence using IT systems to maintain accurate and confidential records.

About the role

Do you have a passion for delivering impactful environmental projects and restoring rivers for people and nature?

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Restoring Rivers & Catchments team. In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of large-scale environmental projects, typically valued between £300,000 and £1 million, working with key partners including water companies, the Environment Agency, local authorities and consultants.

Site locations

The SERT region, covers the south east of England, extending from Hampshire in the west to Kent in the east, with the northern border being south of the Thames, extending down to the English Channel.

Our office is based in Leatherhead which you will be required to attend up to 4 times a month.

The amount of travel required depends on the role, and can be extensive. Most travel for an individual will be to work on project sites, which can be remote, or attending external meetings within the SERT region. The geographical range and frequency of travel is role dependent.

To support travel costs, SERT pays mileage at the current HMRC amount for travel within the SERT region. We do not pay mileage, time or any other costs for travel outside the SERT region, nor for any commutes to the office. Toll charges cannot be claimed.

Head of Application Management

About the Role

As Head of Application Management, you will be responsible for the leadership, strategic direction and effective delivery of all business applications used across the Sanctuary, ensuring these are reliable, secure and support operational and strategic goals. Within this multifunctional and rewarding role, you will lead, support and develop the application management team so they can deliver a high-quality and customer-focused service, fostering a collaborative working culture, encouraging innovation and shared problem-solving.

Your principal duties and responsibilities will include:

The impact of cancer on young lives is more than medical. And that impact can be felt by entire family. That’s why we exist. Our specialist social workers help children and young people with cancer and their families navigate the emotional and practical impact of cancer.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our Birmingham Team supporting children and young people diagnosed with cancer.

We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality support tailored to the needs of the children and young people and their families. The work we do is rewarding but also complex and demanding. You will be part of a close-knit Young Lives vs Cancer social work team, working with established NHS multi-disciplinary teams and services in the community.

This role is hybrid working requiring two to three days per week to be hospital based. Your contractual base will be both Home and Hospital.

This role is subject to a criminal record check. In the event of a successful application an enhanced criminal record check will be completed. A previous conviction is not necessarily a barrier to employment. We encourage qualified applicants to apply, and we will consider each case individually.

 This role is also subject to a Social Worker Registration.

Our Volunteer Coordinators recruit and support our amazing volunteers in the local area, promote the benefits of volunteering and raise the awareness of our centre and Blue Cross.   

Our fostering service is an integral part of the rehoming process, supporting the delivery of our strategy by increasing the service so that Blue Cross can help more pets. 

As a Volunteer Coordinator you will be responsible for recruiting and supporting a diverse team of volunteers. Working closely with the Centre Manager and Assistant Managers, you will ensure that our volunteers are fully integrated into the team, ensuring that the team welcome and collaborate with these wonderful people.   

In addition to this, you will be building relationships with local communities and partners, promoting the benefits of volunteering to provide more targeted support. 

This role is part time over a 2 week rota:  

Week 1: Tuesday, Thursday
