Job Description
The role holder will create effective communications and engagement to support the charity’s work. You will drive positive two-way engagement through our digital channels. Your work will support organisational priorities, driving reach, community engagement and donations.

Key responsibilities include:
Communication and campaign creation
- Drafting digital communication and engagement plans to deliver results.

Using results to drive change
- Using insight to inform new plans.

Social media
- Leading on building our impact and engagement on social media with our audiences, in line with our objectives, including supporting engagement campaigns and fundraising.

- Monitoring social media, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to enquiries.
- Using analytics to constantly optimise our social media impact.
- Developing content for email marketing, including for fundraising and events campaigns.
- Optimising email by A/B testing content to maximise performance through design and content improvements and creating triggered email sequences to build our message.
- Using audience segmentation and personalisation to support campaigns.

Website content plus content SEO
- Overseeing content development for the website and checking existing content so our website is kept up-to-date, engaging, and on brand.
- Ensuring web content is optimised for SEO and usability, training staff on best practice.
- Leading team efforts to enhance the website as an engagement tool.
- Using analytics to identify potential content changes.
Engagement
- Acting as the digital community lead for engagement of our online communities on social media and the Live Well Hub, including guiding team members to follow best practice.
- Supporting online events and driving positive engagement opportunities.
- Responding proactively and appropriately to online messages and comments.
- Engaging and participating in online community groups and discussions beyond our channels.
Brand communication
- Ensuring all activity aligns with brand priorities.
- Championing on-brand messaging. Acting as a trusted expert on brand tone of voice.
- Ensuring all media and communications guidelines/policies are followed and kept updated.
- Sharing best practice with the wider organisation and continuing professional development.
Creative skills
- Generating and developing creative and innovative ideas with a good eye for brand, design, film and photography.
- Creating engaging collateral through software such as Canva, Photoshop or Indesign.
- Editing small amounts of audio or video (desirable).
Essential skills:
- High energy, with the ability to work at a fast pace, with a proactive, creative and flexible approach.

About the role
This is a new role within Crisis’ People & Culture Team, created so we can plan, develop, and deliver a range of internal learning sessions for staff across the organisation. This will include working with our frontline staff, ensuring they have the skills required to support our members to end their homelessness. This role will also provide administrative support to ensure that all training events run efficiently, and appropriate records are maintained.

Our clients Debtline is an award-winning free debt advice service, an independent charity founded in 1991 to help people across the UK to tackle their debts and manage their money with confidence.
As a debt adviser you will provide advice, support, and money management help to people struggling with problem debt. This will include helping callers to form a budget, prioritise their debts and identify possible solutions, in compliance with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations. You will be required to think and work out solutions for the client.
This is a role for resilient candidates who are consistent in approach and can demonstrate that they are able to deal with subjects that can be highly emotive and sensitive. Training and assessments are intense and there is a requirement to manage your own development during and outside working hours to stay up to date with new legislation in this arena. You will need initiative to research some of the finer technical points of debt advice. The calls they receive and productivity targets you need to achieve are challenging and you will be dealing with vulnerable clients daily who may be experiencing poor mental health or at risk of suicide.

Reporting to the Individual Giving Acquisition Manager you will work as part of the Individual Giving Team, recruiting new donors and maximising income across a variety of direct marketing campaigns and activities, supporting on a variety of projects across Individual Giving; including Face to Face, direct mail, email, digital, and telephone campaigns, including work on the national fundraising Lottery.
The successful candidate will be expected to attend our Euston office once a week, although there is some flexibility around this for the right candidate.

About the Role
This is an exciting role which will support MSI’s successful implementation of European Union funded projects to increase access to, and respect for, sexual and reproductive health and rights in sub-Saharan Africa. Working in close collaboration with national and international partners, including government Ministries and civil society partners, MSI is currently implementing two EU funded projects:
The “Youth for Health (Y4H)” project is an adolescent-focused multi-country programme which aims to expand access to life-changing adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (SRH) across six sub-Saharan African countries: Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Zambia. This is a flagship project for the EU within its SRH project portfolio and is implemented through a consortium of eight partners, which is led by MSI.
The ”Kelen Ya” project focuses on supporting women's and girls' civil society organisations to promote a favourable environment for socio-economic development in Mali. Led by MSI Mali and the Women in Law and Development (WILDAF), the project is funded by the EU delegation in Mali.
As a core member of MSI’s Global Programmes and Philanthropy (GPP) team, the GPP Manager (EU) will contribute to the successful implementation of these projects, taking responsibility for the management of sub-contracts for a number of consortium partners, supporting them to deliver their commitments and ensuring adherence to the compliance requirements of both the EU and of the other donors which will be co-financing the Y4H programme, in close coordination with MSI country programme leads. The GPP Manager (EU) will also support the delivery of internal commitments by MSI’s Global Support Office and Country Programmes. The GPP Manager (EU) will lead project management support for a portfolio of countries, working closely with MSI’s Africa Regional team, supporting consortium performance monitoring, risk management, work-planning, and monitoring.
In addition, they will lead on key pieces of technical work under the programme, coordinating technical inputs across key thematic areas (such as advocacy, disability, or youth), interacting with technical leadership and Technical Working Group members from within the projects, as well as external agencies. They will support the Head of EU Programmes to manage the external relationships critical to the success of the programme including with the EU at global and country level and with African institutions.
This role is for a fixed, two-year period from June 2024 to June 2026, with the possibility of extension subject to donor funding.

As The National Partnership Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development function for Scotland. We’re looking for an Advice Service Manager to lead on the day to day management of our Advice Service and grow and develop our Advisors.
The Students’ Union Advice Service supports a student population of 50000 with case numbers averaging over 3000 per year. We’re here to empower students to exercise their rights and options if they encounter problems during their time at university. We offer one-to-one advice on academic issues, housing, money and student finance issues and student life.
We’re currently going through a service transformation, and we want to lay the foundations for a thriving and sustainable Advice Service, able to meet growing demand and complexity of cases. We’re embedding a new staffing structure, and we’re looking for an Advice Service Manager who can support our staff to transition into the more senior roles available. You’ll lead on staff training and development so that we achieve our transformation plan.
As well as management, you’ll be taking on your own cases. You’ll enjoy this role if you’re interested in the law and getting to grips with regulations and policies and you’re passionate about helping people to understand their rights and challenge poor practice. The Role
