Our Community Fundraising Team are a nationwide team, supporting individuals and groups across the UK to raise vital funds for people living with and affected by diabetes.

As a Community Fundraiser, you will play a crucial role in building these relationships and delivering our exciting growth plans that will help us achieve this.

This role will be shared with another Community Fundraiser covering the Eastern Region.

We’re looking for someone who can inspire and collaborate, building strong, positive relationship. As one of our regionally dispersed Community Fundraiser’s, you’ll be joining a busy team, where you will manage relationships with our key supporters with the primary purpose of generating income across a geographical area, through community fundraising activities. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering income targets across the region by building strong relationships with individuals, local companies, community groups and volunteers, in line with our community fundraising strategy. You will also be responsible for the management and support of local third-party events in your region and in providing excellent stewardship to those supporters.

This role is home-based with regular travel across the region. There will also be regular travel to Diabetes UK offices for meetings. 

This role will only be suited to candidates living within the Eastern Region (Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk).

You’ll be able to demonstrate a track record of meeting income targets through relationship fundraising. You’ll be experienced in building and maintaining relationships with supporters and colleagues. A proactive person, you’ll be self-motivated and able to work independently with a solution focused approach. As an experienced fundraiser, you’ll be confident working towards income and expenditure targets and reporting on financial progress. It is desirable that you have managed and secured corporate partnerships and have event management knowledge, though training will be provided.

You will have a passion for building excellent relationships with your supporters to increase loyalty and life-long relationships with the charity.

The role

As a counsellor you will deliver funded time-limited counselling (up to 15 sessions) to people presenting with a range of issues, particularly domestic abuse. The counselling will be online (telephone and Teams) and face-to-face in various settings across Nottinghamshire.

About you

Are you an independent, self-motivated counsellor who is experienced in working with people affected by domestic abuse?

You’ve ideally worked directly with a diverse client group in a therapeutic setting and have experience managing safeguarding issues. You will have experience in a range of issues such as domestic abuse, alcohol & drug recovery, mental health issues such as depression & anxiety, trauma, issues relating to identity.

The Hepatitis C Trust has developed projects nationally whereby peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training to increase awareness of hepatitis C, reduce stigma, and promote access to testing and treatment for people living with hepatitis C.

Do you have experience of working in drug services and with volunteers? Have you been affected by hepatitis C, or have you supported anyone who has hepatitis C? We are looking for a passionate and skilled peer lead who has excellent communication and organisational skills. Alongside a growing team, these posts will continue the development and delivery of the Hepatitis C peer project, recruiting and supporting volunteer peers across the North East Somerset area. Working in partnership with hepatitis C clinical teams, drug and alcohol services and homeless service providers, the post will coordinate delivery of educational workshops, hepatitis C testing in community settings, ensure that service users are referred and supported through hepatitis C treatment and care.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two key individuals to join the team at Basis Yorkshire as a Sexual Exploitation Specialist (16+). You will be providing bespoke trauma informed 1-1 and group work for women who have experienced, or who are experiencing sexual exploitation. 

This role provides trauma informed support to girls and women who are at risk of or experiencing sexual exploitation. Working as part of an Adult Sexual Exploitation Partnership Project, you will be supporting girls and women aged 16+ using a theory of change which includes engaging through assertive outreach, helping to overcome trauma and complex emotions, empowering to build positive social networks and building on strengths through exploring their options. You will also be responsible for facilitating a weekly drop in session for women who have experienced Sexual Violence alongside another member of the Basis team. You will support girls and women to access the Criminal Justice System should they wish to do so, enabling them to stay safe and bringing perpetrators to justice.  Wakefield is a new Service Delivery area for Basis Yorkshire and as part of this role you will work with the Service Delivery Manager and other Basis staff to establish strong working partnerships with key services in the area including, Children’s Services, Police and Adult Social Care.

I am looking for a caring and passionate individual to support me with my daily living skills, building and maintaining relationships, keeping myself and my home safe but also to help me develop my skills to live more independently, to share my hobbies and interests and to explore new activities.

I am looking for someone who is a good and clear communicator, is assertive, has good IT skills and shares my enthusiasm for what interests me, like music, food and meaningful activities.

We're at an exciting stage in the Churches Team at Tearfund, as we reach out to a range of donors and UK churches, seeking to secure larger gifts to enable Tearfund to help more people who are living in poverty. We are looking for an excellent Key Church Executive to run and manage Tearfund's trips, Events, and to facilitate our engagement with some UK church events and festivals. 

Good relationships are key to this role - both internally and externally - so building connections in both spheres is key to this role.

Support Coordinator

We’re looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to a new project in West Yorkshire to deliver 6 month reviews to stroke survivors of working age.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke.

Position: S11272 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Homebased Bradford, Wakefield and Leeds. However, frequent travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Salary: Circa £21,948 per annum (FTE circa £27,400 per annum)

Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week

Contract: This is a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2026. Our services are contracted, we currently have funding for this contract until 30 June 2026.

The Role

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors in relation to employment and volunteering.

Reporting to the Stroke Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinators will:

• Deliver 6 month post stroke reviews to people affected by stroke
• Provide personalised information, advice and support especially in relation to employment, volunteering and secondary prevention

About You

The post holders will:

• Be motivated and flexible in their approach
• Able to process new information easily
• Have a background in supporting others ideally in health, social care or the voluntary sector
• Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working collaboratively with other professionals and colleagues
• Be confident and able to use IT systems including data bases

This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home and in community settings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role
