Role Brief:
The Rio Ferdinand Foundation are recruiting an experienced Administrative Officer for an exciting new cross-border PEACE Academy programme in Belfast and Sligo.
The aim of this new three-year programme, is to deliver and evidence a PEACE Academy pathway of engagement, learning, social action and employability that will inspire young people from communities in Northern Ireland and Ireland to create shared experiences and build a long-term response to sectarianism, racism and hate on a cross community and cross border basis.
We are seeking an experienced administrative professional who can lead on the operational and back-office administration of this programme.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role will:
§ Work with the Programme Manager to devise appropriate administrative processes to support the regional delivery teams together with senior management.
§ Work with our regional Coordinators on the administrative function of sessions and events i.e., booking and risk assessing suitable venues, disseminating promotional materials, booking travel arrangements, arranging refreshments for young people, equipment orders etc.
§ Work with our Training Officer on administrative function of workshops and training course delivery including course paperwork, learning materials and resources, venues, certificates distribution etc.
§ Work with our Finance Officer on the financial administration of the programme.
§ Organise and order any staff kit required from our approved suppliers.
§ Disseminating project materials as well as communications outputs circulating to the wider team and partners as required.
§ Attend partnership meetings to take minutes and follow up on any key actions.
§ Input to funder reports and attending meetings as and when required.
Person Specification/Key skills:
§ Degree level education or similar experience
§ At least two years administrative experience
§ Experience of administrative support for diverse and complex projects
§ Willingness to support wider programme deliverables including attending events.
§ Ability to build positive working relationships with young people, community stakeholders, colleagues and partners
§ An interest/experience in Youth work
§ Ability to prioritise and manage workload in a fast-paced environment

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Delivery of Spear Programme
- As a coach you will support Spear centres in London and across the UK by preparing and coaching Spear Foundation group sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme
- Quickly building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture and attitudes in the training room
- Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively
- You will be required to travel outside of London and potentially stay for a period of time at the centre. All business expenses will be covered during the working week
Spear Centre Support
- You will form part of a central support team that enables Spear Centres to deliver high quality, high impact sessions to young people when one of their team is sick or the centre is short-staffed
- You will be placed where the support is needed most, working peripatetically across centres. This could look like 2 months based in one centre or various weeks working across different centres both in London and across the UK
Trainee recruitment
- Supporting Spear Centres to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme, through active face-to-face recruitment
Active participation in and support for Resurgo’s team and mission
- Help build and develop Resurgo’s ethos and Christian life as a team member including leading and contributing to daily team prayer meetings as an integral part of Resurgo’s operation and for the success of its mission

SCM has six members of staff, all but one of whom are part time, and achieves a great deal. CHIRP is seeking a dynamic and talented individual to support the maritime and aviation programme teams with administrative and technical functions. The role combines general administrative duties with data collection, analysis and presentation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting CHIRP’s work to enhance aviation and maritime safety through effective reporting, analysis, and dissemination of key safety insights. Key Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support to the programme teams. This includes:

About the Charity
Established in 1982, CHIRP has been a long-standing presence in both Aviation and Maritime safety spheres. More recently, CHIRP has aspired to capture the synergies between the two programmes. Who are we?
London Gypsies and Travellers (LGT) is an organisation that challenges social exclusion and discrimination, working for change in partnership with Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller people. We work with families across London Boroughs, including those living on council caravan sites, roadside camps, in bricks and mortar housing, and those experiencing homelessness.
Our Bright Futures programme offers mentoring and skills support to young Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller people aged 15–25 years. Through tailored one-to-one work, group activities and practical help, we support young people to build confidence, motivation and pride in their identity, while developing the tools they need to succeed in wider society.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a motivated and organised Youth Project Worker to support the delivery of Bright Futures. This is a varied role that combines project coordination, outreach support, administration, and direct engagement with young people.
You’ll help keep the programme running smoothly behind the scenes while also building trusted relationships with partner services and young people and families, supporting communications, and contributing to learning and reflection.
What will the role involve?
As a Youth Project Worker, you will:
- Support the day-to-day administration of the mentoring and employability programme, including record-keeping and report preparation
- Help coordinate communications activities such as creating new material, WhatsApp updates, and social media
- Maintain and grow referral networks with employers, training providers, and community organisations
- Engage directly with young people and their families to raise awareness and encourage participation

Launched in 2024, Making Waves is our flagship one-to-one music-making programme designed for people at risk of offending or those leaving prison. Over 10 sessions, participants work with a professional producer in our private studio to create, record, and release their own music, building confidence and gaining new skills along the way. Alongside music-making, participants can also gain a King’s Trust qualification in Personal Development and Employability Skills, receive tailored mentoring from Trailblazers to support them into employment, and join our alumni programme for live performance opportunities, industry masterclasses, and ongoing support.
The Programme Coordinator is a new role within the Finding Rhythms team. Based on the success of the Making Waves programme over the last year, we now are in the process of expansion - with plans to increase delivery and engage more participants. The Programme Coordinator fulfills an essential role to support successful expansion of the programme whilst maintaining maximum impact for participants and partners.
To be successful in the role, you will be a highly motivated and proactive individual. You will support the day-to-day running of the programme on site, providing administrative support, and being the first point of contact for programme participants. You will have a person-centred approach, empathy and patience, alongside excellent attention to detail and an ability to think ahead. You will be passionate about music’s ability to transform lives.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
REFERRALS AND ON-BOARDING
● Processing a high volume of referrals of participants onto the programme, in a time-effective manner, ensuring all essential information is gathered and recorded
● Communicating regularly with participants and referral partners on the status and timeframe of their place on the programme
● Responding to general enquiries about the programme and distributing relevant information
● Encouraging participants to attend including identifying issues and providing solutions
● Briefing participants in the lead up and throughout the duration of the programme
● Being the on site point of liaison for the programme
PROGRAMME COORDINATION
● Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed and processed
● Updating the musician and Programme Manager with key information in the lead up to sessions and on the day
● Liaising with partnering organisation Trailblazers Mentors and participants to organise mentoring sessions on-site and online
● Ensuring the studio is clean, tidy, and correctly equipped
● Ensuring studio ‘rules’ are adhered to and sessions run smoothly, flagging any issues to the Programme Manager
● Supporting the Programme Manager with the alumni programme including the organisation of live performance events and industry masterclasses
OUTREACH AND COMMUNICATIONS
● Organising and attending outreach and taster sessions across multiple locations (some of which will take place in prisons)
● Being the main point of contact for participants and alumni, sending reminders and general information about upcoming events
● Supporting on organisation and coordination of Finding Rhythms events
● Taking photographs for social media, sharing ‘success stories’ and case studies
GENERAL
● Ad hoc tasks as required, as Finding Rhythms is a small organisation, flexibility is required in every role so we can help and support each other wherever necessary

This may be facilitated through attendance at patient’s forums, ward meetings, working with patients on a one to one basis providing information, representation and support to develop self-advocacy skills; and developing new forums and forms of support.
Duties will include providing professional advocacy to all patients, informing them of their rights and supporting them with any issues that are impacting them during their hospital admission. Ensuring that advocacy is available for all patients, that appropriate methods of communication are available in order to meet the needs of all patients, and to be able to adapt to changing ward based or external changes.
This role is providing specialist advocacy for 12 Forensic Wards at Chase Farm Hospital and in community locations.

You will support function leads in monitoring fundraising outcomes and comparing to income generation targets, developing a database of funders and improving tender response processes to reduce the administrative burden of tender responses without compromising on quality.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of managing the tender return process in other organisations, either in a commercial or charitable sector environment. When a family member sustains a spinal cord injury it is a life changing experience for the whole family. They can feel very isolated and that no one understands what they’re going through.
Back Up’s Family Support Service is there to help. We enable a wide range of family members of all ages whose loved one is affected by spinal cord injury (SCI) to improve their wellbeing, build a support network and transform their lives through Back Up’s services.
The Family Support Coordinator will assist in supporting family members on an individual basis as well as in group settings as appropriate, together with providing support in the process of identifying, recruiting and training new family support volunteers.
A Family Support Coordinator will be comfortable and efficient with data management and GDPR compliance.
Lived experience of having a relative with SCI is essential, together with sharing our commitment to transform the lives of everyone affected by spinal cord injury.
