About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated High-Value Giving Officer to join their successful and growing Development & Alumni Relations team. You will lead on cultivating, stewarding, and securing major philanthropic support from Old Members and friends of the College, with a particular focus on legacy gifts of £25,000 and above.
This is a pivotal role within a team that has already helped raise over £40 million through the Access All Areas campaign—supporting student access, outreach (including our ground-breaking partnership with The Access Project), and the endowment of academic Fellowships.
You’ll be building on strong foundations. The alumni events programme is diverse, well-attended, and internationally recognised. The community is generous, engaged, and keen to support Queen’s vision. We now seek someone who can help us harness this enthusiasm into long-term, high-impact philanthropy.
Your Focus
- Lead Relationship Manager for a growing group of high-value donors and prospects, serving as their key point of contact within the College.
- Design and implement bespoke stewardship strategies that engage, inspire and recognise major donors—ensuring they feel a deep, personal connection to Queen’s.
- Take ownership of the Taberdars’ Society, the College’s long-standing donor recognition group and help evolve its role to celebrate both existing and future high-value supporters.
- Work closely with senior College figures, including the Provost, Bursar, Fellows, and academics, to align donor aspirations with strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with the wider Old Members’ Office to ensure a joined-up approach to donor cultivation, stewardship, and communications.
We’re seeking a confident and relationship-driven professional with:
- Experience in educational or non-profit fundraising, especially in managing donor pipelines and stewardship for gifts of £25K+.
- The tact and creativity to build long-term relationships and deepen donor engagement over time.
- A strategic mindset, able to forecast and manage a high-value giving pipeline in line with College priorities.
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a small, high-performing team, supporting alumni events and broader development initiatives as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and a genuine passion for education and philanthropy.

Senior Youth Worker

Could you lead and inspire youth work across Wallingford and Didcot?
We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic youth worker to take a lead role in delivering and developing our youth provision in both towns. You’ll lead our youth provision in Wallingford, which includes open-access youth clubs, detached, an LGBTQ+ youth group and holiday activities. You’ll also deliver youth work in Didcot and support our wider team. You’ll supervise and develop volunteers, champion youth voice, and ensure our provision responds to young people’s ever-changing needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing the community youth provision in Wallingford
- Building meaningful, trusted relationships with under-served young people to support their personal and social development
- Delivering youth work sessions in Wallingford and Didcot across open-access, detached, outreach and mentoring provision
- Supervising and supporting volunteers
- Promoting youth voice and participation across all provision

The team is based at our busy community centre from where it offers a range of services from community meals, art classes to gardening services and digital support. About the role
We're looking for a Deputy Service Manager to join our residential service based in Croydon. You will support the Service Manager to provide leadership and line management to a team of Night Recovery Workers and Night Concierge which totals around 10. You will be present to ensure a quality service is delivered 24 hours a day, working closely with the day teams to ensure quality handovers.
You will provide general leadership to the team so they feel empowered to be productive and perform well within their roles, supporting a service which focuses on Forensic Mental Health for 27 people across 4 sites in Croydon. The teams support our residents with person centred support to empower them to overcome their personal barriers with their mental health, and have greater independence and fulfilled living.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Line Management including providing support and guidance, conducting support and supervisions, and ensuring duties are carried out effectively
- Support with the operational delivery of the service
- Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed
- Property and Housing Management; ensuring the accommodation meets our requirements and is safe to live in
About you
We are seeking a passionate, driven and motivated individual to lead the service in a trauma informed and inclusive way. You will have knowledge around the Mental Health complexities that residents can face, and have a can-do attitude which can help empower the team to deliver their KPI's. We look for:
- Experience in working with people who have enduring mental health and complex backgrounds
- Ability to motivate and empower a team to achieve KPI's
- Ability to provide advice, guidance, and support to the team on all aspects of service delivery including resident related queries

You will provide general leadership to the team so they feel empowered to be productive and perform well within their roles, supporting a service which focuses on Forensic Mental Health for 27 people across 4 sites in Croydon. The teams support our residents with person centred support to empower them to overcome their personal barriers with their mental health, and have greater independence and fulfilled living.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Line Management including providing support and guidance, conducting support and supervisions, and ensuring duties are carried out effectively
- Support with the operational delivery of the service
- Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed
- Property and Housing Management; ensuring the accommodation meets our requirements and is safe to live in
About you
We are seeking a passionate, driven and motivated individual to lead the service in a trauma informed and inclusive way. You will have knowledge around the Mental Health complexities that residents can face, and have a can-do attitude which can help empower the team to deliver their KPI's. We look for:
- Experience in working with people who have enduring mental health and complex backgrounds
- Ability to motivate and empower a team to achieve KPI's
- Ability to provide advice, guidance, and support to the team on all aspects of service delivery including resident related queries
- Willingness and ability to work flexibly to meet service needs
- IT proficiency - we use various systems so look for someone who can learn and navigate new systems including case management, microsoft, ATS, HR systems, and other types of organisational software

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Director to join our team. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving our fundraising efforts, developing relationships, building and managing cross organisational and corporate partnerships, and expanding our network to support and enhance our programmes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, excellent networking abilities, and a passion for our mission. The postholder is key in the delivery of the organisation’s strategic vision and direction.
The core function of the role will be to help lead the organisation as it looks to expand its services and capacity to serve those with learning disabilities.
Over the last few months, CPF has been looking into upcoming tender opportunities and recently finished a feasibility study which has provided recommendations on some of the most viable partnership opportunities and expanded service provisions that could play a vital role in moving forward. These are built around three main priority areas – sustaining and expanding the advocacy service, building long-term and mutually beneficial partnerships with other organisations that result in additional service provisions, and expanding the use of the current premise to create a warm and welcoming space throughout the week and into the evenings.
The Director will be expected to take on some of the current conversations and plans around the three priority areas of the advocacy service, partnerships and creating a warm and welcome space; identifying the most viable way to bring in sustainable funding for these. The Director will be responsible for fundraising and income generation and they will be expected to identify grants and funding opportunities and varied income generation sources for the organisation. They will also develop fundraising strategies, cultivate relationships with donors and sponsors, identify funding, write bids and explore grant opportunities to ensure the charity has the resources to fulfil its mission.
