Keychange provides care, support, development, and well-being services across nine sites in England, consisting of seven residential Care Homes for older people and two Housing Communities for young people, with an additional housing site in development. The Director of Strategic Partnerships reports to the CEO and is a part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) along with the Director of Finance, the Director of Operations and Facilities Business Manager. The SLT is responsible for the leadership, culture and oversight of Keychange in the Central Office and Community Sites.
Key focus of this role:
- Driving external partnership growth, including instigating national and local partnerships

Robertson Bell are partnering with this well-known nonprofit organisation whilst they recruit for a new Accounts Payable Manager. Reporting into the Head of Operational Finance you will have three direct reports and a wider team of 25.
Duties for this role include:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments, adhering to the board's approval matrix for delegated authorities.
- Supervise the department's data entry process to validate invoices, match them with purchase orders, and ensure accurate coding for authorisation.
- Oversee the accurate and timely setup of new suppliers, following necessary controls and procedures.
- Manage expense payments, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
- Supervise all cash processes, including petty cash and payment runs.
- Maintain the ledger, resolving outstanding invoices and supplier issues prior to each payment run.
- Improve team efficiency by measuring KPIs and implementing process enhancements.
- Ensure objectives for the team are aligned with organisational goals and develop SLAs for direct reports, conduct regular performance reviews, offer necessary coaching, and regular development sessions.
- Provide internal and external guidance on accounts payable matters, collaborating with systems, accounting teams, and other departments to automate processes and support change initiatives.
Based at the organisations head office in South London this Accounts Payable Manager will be required to work in the office twice a week. This permanent position will best suit an individual who has already run an effective accounts payable function of a significant size.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a highly capable communicator.
- Have previously led sizable teams of 20 or more.
- Understand how to drive efficiencies across an accounts payable function.
- Be able to manage a busy workload within a large and complex organisation.

About the role
This is an exciting role within the Volunteering Team. You’ll have responsibility for designing and piloting Shelter’s financial resilience volunteer programme in Leeds as well as supporting our nationwide volunteering programme. We’ll rely on you to use best practice volunteer management to design and pilot volunteering journeys from attraction, recruitment and training all the way through to ongoing support and exit. You’ll also be leading on evaluating the pilot and adapting our approaches based on learnings. The role involves collaborating with key stakeholders not only across Shelter but with our financial corporate partners to implement a volunteer programme that equips our volunteers to deliver their roles independently, whilst also having the biggest impact. Monitoring the contribution of volunteering activity, you’ll ensure our volunteers are recognised, celebrated, and feel valued for the part they play.
You will work closely with colleagues throughout our Volunteering Team to implement Shelter’s volunteering strategy and contribute to a consistent and quality experience for our Volunteer’s by developing new resources and processes that we can implement on a national scale. Working with the Corporate Volunteering Administrator, you’ll help utilise the volunteer database and report on data to evidence impact. And where relevant, you’ll seek to build co-production into ways of working so that people with lived experience of homelessness and bad housing are at the heart of what we do.

About you
With experience of leading the successful development of volunteering projects and solid volunteer management experience, you will be passionate about volunteering, with an excellent understanding of what makes a quality volunteer experience. You will have demonstrable experience of applying best practice principles to volunteering, to succeed, you’ll need experience of using innovative approaches to planning new volunteering activities and the processes that support them.
You’ll be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, including identifying conflicting demands and establishing clear priorities to meet agreed objectives. Your great communication skills include an ability to influence and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels. What’s more, you’ll be confident creating and delivering high-quality presentations both online and in-person. You’ll be experienced in managing the specific approaches needed when involving corporate volunteers as opposed to non-corporate volunteers.

Crisis Skylight Oxford supports people experiencing homelessness. The service is based in the Old Fire Station alongside an Arts Centre open to the public. As the Reception Manager (Skylight Coordinator) you will ensure that the reception area runs efficiently and effectively and is a warm, supportive space to anyone needing our support. You will manage the reception team and volunteers, ensuring the provision of good advice, information, and guidance.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have experience of managing a busy reception where people have presented with a wide range of issues and challenges. You will have experience of working with disadvantaged or socially excluded groups or individuals, either as part of a paid role or in a voluntary capacity. This role includes line management responsibilities so you will need experience of managing staff and/or volunteers. You will have good admin skills, with strong oral skills including the ability to communicate key information clearly and precisely. This would be a great opportunity for someone who is already working within the sector or someone with voluntary experience who wants to use their Reception Manager experience to help end homelessness.

The Refugee and Migrant Centre (RMC) is an established, multi award winning charity that provides a safe, welcoming environment to thousands of refugees and migrants living in the Black Country and Birmingham.
Our highly skilled and diverse staff team provide a broad range of services including advice and support on immigration (OISC regulated level 1, 2 & 3), employment, welfare, education, ESOL, housing, homelessness, destitution, citizenship, health and wellbeing.
RMC have been assisting beneficiaries to access and sustain appropriate accommodation and improve their housing and living conditions for nearly two decades. RMC also deals with many aspects of homelessness, destitution, rough sleeping, exploitation, etc.

The Repairs Manager will work as part of the Property Services team. Responsible for working collaboratively with the Customer Contact Centre to facilitate the timely and efficient completion of repairs and maintenance tasks in accordance with established standards and regulatory requirements. Offering technical expertise, whilst being a lead escalation for Contractor Management and Commercial Meetings.

Instigate Orders
Authorise orders and approve variation price works from agreed SoR's. Offer technical support to Customer Contact Centre to ensure that works are value for money. Promptly instruct contractor and confirm agreed timescale. Liaise with scheme mangers as necessary.
Order Approvals
Approve and review high value orders, variations, and completed works prior to invoice.
Quality Assurance
Lead on all areas of quality assurance including sharing site visit responsibility with Property Inspector. Manage requests for pre inspections and post inspections with Property Inspector. Lead on Damp and Mould quality inspections and follow up reports. Communicate inspection KPIs to key stakeholders.
Works Delivery
Ensure that all works are completed within agreed time frame work and that this is accurately monitored through weekly WIP reports.
Contractor Management
Ensure strict adherence to Contractor code of conduct and agreed SLAs. Lead contract progress meetings to manage performance.
Complaint and Query Lead
Manage all complaints responses related to repairs from inception and act as escalation point for repairs and void teams.
