About the role:

We began a contract with the Ministry of Justice in June 2021, delivering a pan London Housing Advice & Interventions Service, in partnership with St Mungo's. With Single Homeless Project staff co-located in probation offices, we work in close partnership with the Probation Service, to support people on probation to either sustain their current accommodation or to secure new housing as needed. 

We are looking for an Administrator to join the team following some additional funding we have secured. The role is currently funded until the end of March 2025, with the possibility of a further years extension. 

About you:

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build good working relationships at all levels. 

• A good understanding of the key administrative tasks carried out within a support service.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with a variety of people.

• Able to use MS Office package (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook) at an intermediate level.

• Able to analyse and produce reports from source data e.g. records, databases, spreadsheets. 

• Strong  time management skills, able to effectively manage workload, multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Our client’s homeless shelter provides emergency accommodation for up to 12 single homeless people in St Albans each night.; their dedicated staff team offer a trauma-informed, safe environment which is person-centred and supports beneficiaries to access the help they need. As Service Manager, you’ll support your team and be responsible for overseeing support, advice and assistance to beneficiaries who are/have been living on the streets so that they are able to access and maintain a safe and secure home of their own.

We are looking for an experienced grants fundraiser to join us and make a significant impact on our work with young people in central Doncaster. 

We are currently finalising our next Forward Plan, with an ambition to create an inclusive, vibrant community, committed to everyone having a fair chance to discover who they are and what they can become.  We currently work with children and young people aged 5 to 30. 

Our priority programmes include support coaching for young people, community activity sessions, sustaining our accommodation provision for vulnerable young adults and establishing how we can best support more young people on the homelessness pathway.  We have some great spaces that are in need of development, and we expect that both capital and revenue funding will be included in your workload. We also look for smaller grants during the course of the year, including for food for our residents and supplies for our art groups, and we hope to recruit volunteers to assist with the smaller and less complex bids.

This team aims to grow income from the general public to support our vital homelessness services, with activity spanning all stage of the supporter journey through awareness, engagement, donating and loyalty.

St Mungo’s is a leading homelessness charity, and we want to grow public awareness of our work. The Assistant Head of Public Engagement (Brand and Marketing) will lead work to drive increased awareness of St Mungo’s, supporting growth in fundraising income from the general public.

This role will be vital in driving public awareness and engagement with St Mungo’s and our work, to end homelessness and rebuild lives. In this role you will:

Job title: Fundraising and Legacy Administrator

About the Role

This is a new role for The Connection at St Martin’s and reflects our ambitions to deliver housing opportunities for our clients. In our strategy we aim to ensure that 300 of our clients are successfully and sustainably housed. 

This is an ambitious target and the person holding the role will need to deliver our existing accommodation services while continuing to network and create relationships with other organisations to bring more opportunities to our clients.

The person in this role will be responsible for managing relationships with existing partners and funders while also securing new partners and funders as necessary to deliver our strategic aim of delivering housing solutions.

Generalist Adviser

The Greenwich Citizens Advice office is located in Woolwich, Greenwich.  The role involves advising people face to face at our Woolwich office, at outreach venues across the Borough, by telephone, email and virtually. There is the right to request some home working, once the staff have passed their probationary period. There is also a flexitime policy in place.

You will need to be able to work well as part of a team and independently and be committed to our policies, aims and objectives

Our Organisation

You will work a combination of office, client-home, community, and home-based working. Causeway is a 4-day week employer, so you will work 32 hours over 4 days a week. Causeway is a London living wage employer. You will receive a 6% pension contribution, rising to 12% after two years service. The Role

To provide a high-quality housing management service, ensuring outstanding customer service and service delivery, by a being a primary point of contact for tenants. Engage with tenants to provide a responsive efficient housing management service that is consistently excellent for all tenancies. Housing Officers are expected to carry out the vast majority of their duties (70%) at our managed accommodation.
