This flagship programme, delivered in partnership with TDS, GMCA and the Nationwide Foundation, uses action research and behavioural‑insight‑informed interventions to understand and reduce unintentional non‑compliance among private landlords, with the aim of improving renting standards and supporting people in housing need.
We have a new 12‑month fixed‑term opportunity to join our Greater Manchester Good Landlord Charter/Landlord Support Hub team as a Research and Evaluation Manager.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Lead the project’s research and evaluation activities, including insight gathering, participatory research, and continuous testing of behavioural or supportive interventions.
- Design and evaluate behavioural interventions, assessing impact, outcomes and what works to inform future policy and operational practice.
- Collaborate closely with the Behavioural Insight Specialist and Landlord Support Manager, ensuring research is rigorous, ethical, and generates meaningful learning.
- Engage landlords, tenants, letting agents, and local authorities to gather data, understand barriers to compliance, and capture lived experience.
- Produce high‑quality reporting, including findings, recommendations, and insights to support both internal decision‑making and external stakeholders such as GMCA and the Nationwide Foundation.
- Represent the Research & Evaluation function at meetings, workshops and advisory groups, contributing to the wider aims of improving standards across the private rented sector.
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Strong experience in research, evaluation or insight‑gathering, ideally within housing, social policy, behavioural insights or community‑focused projects.
- Ability to design and apply research methods, including interviews, behavioural diagnosis, qualitative and/or quantitative analysis.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, able to turn complex insights into clear recommendations.
- Confidence managing relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Based in/near Greater Manchester, and able to travel across the region as needed.

We are looking for 3 people to join the St Mungo’s Rough Sleeping Service as Housing Led Workers on fixed term contracts until March 2027. (2x Full Time, and 1 Part time).
The team will work in partnership with the Oxford Rough Sleeping Service, and in partnership with local partner agencies to provide long term tenancy sustainment support to clients experiencing homelessness. Our aim is to support people to access suitable accommodation; and move-on with the right support in place.
In the role of Housing Led Worker you will work as part of a team to oversee the day-to-day delivery of the service. Managing a caseload of around 15-20 clients you will:
- Provide personalised, flexible support that helps clients access the right services for their mental and physical health, substance use, community engagement, learning, training, and employment.
- Deliver intensive, ongoing support to help clients establish their home, sustain their tenancy, and work towards their personal goals and aspirations.
- Work in partnership with clients, using a creative and strengths-based approach to help people manage tenancy, build independence, and rebuild their lives in the community.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners.
- We will provide support and supervision to help you work independently and comfortably as a lone worker to support clients and effectively manage your own caseload.

This is not a care role. It’s a practical, hands on support position focused on empowering people to manage their tenancies, develop essential life skills, and overcome barriers that may be affecting their housing stability. You’ll be working alongside tenants to help them feel more in control of their circumstances, stay independent, and move on positively at the end of their term.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you’ll provide high quality, person centred housing support to adults and families living in temporary accommodation, helping them build the skills and confidence needed to sustain their tenancies and move on successfully. You’ll work flexibly, delivering 1-to-1 support both over the phone and through home visits, adapting your approach to meet the diverse needs, backgrounds, and circumstances of each household. Acting as a bridge between accommodation and a stable home, you’ll ensure tenants have the knowledge, tools, and support networks needed to thrive throughout their housing journey.
Your role will involve:
- Risk Management: Completing and regularly updating risk assessments to ensure the safety of tenants, the community, and yourself.
- Housing Related Support: Offering guidance on budgeting, benefit claims (including Universal Credit and Housing Benefit), rent payments, and basic home management.
- Signposting & Advocacy: Identifying additional needs such as mental health, employment, or substance misuse, and connecting tenants to specialist external agencies.
- Administrative Excellence: Maintaining accurate digital case notes in real time, ensuring GDPR compliance and strong, high quality reporting
- Team Collaboration: Providing “roving” support to colleagues and assisting at other schemes when required to ensure continuity of service.
- Holistic Support Planning: Co producing personalised support plans with tenants, setting clear and measurable goals to strengthen housing stability and overall wellbeing.
What we’re looking for
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex housing information clearly to a diverse tenant group, including individuals and families.
- Ability to travel independently to tenants’ homes as part of regular support delivery.
- Experience in housing, social care or community support (desirable but not essential – full training provided for the right candidate).
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and digital case management systems, with confident report writing skills.
- Excellent people skills and the ability to build rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
- A collaborative, “can do” attitude with a willingness to support other schemes and colleagues during busy periods.

Our client is the UK’s national LGBTQ+ Youth Homelessness charity. Their mission is to ensure that every LGBTQ+ young person facing or at risk of homelessness or a hostile environment has somewhere safe to stay, and work with over 800 vulnerable young people a year providing both face to face and online support. They are now recruiting a dedicated Supported Housing Manager to oversee the opening of a brand new LGBTQ+ service based in Lambeth.
Reporting to the Director of Services, as Supported Housing Manager you will have responsibility for the opening and day to day management of a new six unit LGBTQ+ housing scheme, working to create a safe, welcoming and psychologically-informed home environment for all beneficiaries. As Supported Housing Manager you will oversee a small, committed team of frontline staff, and will work to ensure that the support delivered is person-centered, holistic and to the highest quality. Acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will ensure that team members fulfil their duties in safeguarding children and young people in line with company policies, and will work in partnership with a range of agencies to achieve best possible outcomes for all service users. You will also provide training to professionals and support to LGBTQ+ people, ensuring that professionals are working in an LGBTQ+ informed and inclusive way.

Salary
The salary for the Senior Development Manager post is £70,811 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. You’ll also receive an Essential Car User Allowance starting at £1,250, supporting the travel required across our regional development sites.

- Experience in sourcing land-led development opportunities and managing residential projects from inception to completion

- Effective negotiation and project management skills.

Building Tomorrow – Neighbourhood Housing Project Lead
Oasis exists to build stronger communities where there is no one left out. Building Tomorrow is an innovative new neighbourhood housing programme that Oasis is developing in Sheffield and Scunthorpe.
We are pioneering a new community-led solution to housing challenges in two communities where Oasis already works, running five schools and two community Hubs. We are working to develop quality housing that offers opportunity for families to find a stable and supportive place of belonging in community.
The programme will combine quality housing, excellent education (provided through Oasis academies), and community wrap-around support (delivered through our existing youth and community teams). This role will act as the central point of coordination which will ensure Building Tomorrow moves successfully from initiation to full activation over the initial 18-month period. In the activation period, we will purchase and refurbish the 20 properties, and this role will work in close coordination with our property consultants. As properties are purchased, we will begin to move into the delivery phase, where we start to house families.

What will you do?
The key areas of responsibility for the role are as follows:
· To act as the main link between all stakeholders: the Oasis teams including academies; contractors; and any community partners. To make sure everyone is communicating effectively and working toward the same goal.
· To work in close collaboration with Oasis Community Leaders in Sheffield and Scunthorpe. To support the Community Leaders and wider community teams to welcome families by acting as a key part of the community support offer through the 18-month activation phase.

About the role
Based in the PDT team this role will contribute towards Your Place’s overarching mission to end homelessness one person at a time and meet organisational KPI’s around outcome based contracts.
In response to an increasing proportion of residents who have been referred to us holding refugee status we are seeking to develop our supported accommodation services to meet the particular needs of this group.
