KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of LtL’s core services and programmes
• Provide administrative and functional support to the management team
• Provide general administrative and organisational support to the LtL team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Eastleigh office.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Office Administration

• Be the first point of contact for all callers, including email, phone and in-person
• Administer incoming and outgoing mail and email boxes, giving appropriate advice or referring onwards on within one working day
• Support the management of IT equipment

• Arrange travel and accommodation for managers, staff and trustees
• Assist with the organisation of events, conferences and training on behalf of LtL
• Organise refreshments and catering at events and meetings

• Maintain LtL’s records/files/images both electronic and paper based, ensuring all data is stored accurately and securely in accordance with LtL policy and GDPR law

• Order stationery and day-to-day equipment and refreshments for the LtL office

• Implement LtL’s Health and Safety Policy within the office
• Maintain liaison with landlords to ensure a well-maintained office space and oversee the maintenance and replacement of office furniture and equipment.

HR Support

• Support recruitment and onboarding admin as needed
• Order staff uniforms, badges and equipment as required.

Project Management Support/Administration

• Respond to project enquiries and requests to ensure they are appropriately actioned within one working day

• Develop good relationships with schools over the duration of the projects Assist with printing and collation of information including replenishment of marketing/training materials, resources and stationery for the project team.

What you’ll need:

Essential criteria:

• A minimum of 2 years experience of working as part of a team in a busy office environment
• Educated to a good standard of education with C Standard Grades or equivalent
• Fluent in the English language, both written and spoken
• Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Store Manager to join Barnardo's on a Full Time Permanent Basis.

As a Store Manager you will manage the day to day running of our Tonbridge Store, leading a team of colleagues to maximise store sales and profits. The purpose of this role is to provide leadership, oversight and curation to the FYT Leadership Team, and to lead the smooth running of the FYT Organisation which supports the wider FYT Movement. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will play a crucial role in the future growth of our charity and the impact that we achieve through partnership for people with sight loss. About the role

Working in close collaboration with the Senior Mass Fundraising Lead, the role will manage and deliver a variety of community-led fundraising initiatives and dynamic challenge events that engage supporters and generate vital unrestricted funds for children affected by neuroblastoma.

The role focuses on building strong relationships with fundraisers, volunteers and ambassadors, providing guidance, support and motivation to help them surpass their fundraising goals. Role Overview:

The Head of Governance, Risk & Company Secretary is a pivotal leadership role within St John Ambulance Cymru (SJAC), responsible for ensuring the charity’s governance, legal compliance, risk management, and quality assurance functions are robust, effective, and strategically aligned with our goals.

This dual-role combines governance oversight with the leadership of organisational quality systems, ensuring that SJAC remains a trusted, safe, and high-performing organisation. The postholder will serve as Company Secretary to the Board and also lead operational governance initiatives across the charity.

What you’ll need to be successful

To thrive as our Head of Governance, Risk & Company Secretary, you’ll need leadership experience, particularly in governance, compliance, or quality assurance—ideally within a charity or healthcare setting. You’ll bring a strong understanding of governance codes and/or systems, risk management frameworks, and UK charity law along with the ability to manage sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion. A Chartered Governance Institute (ICSA) qualification or equivalent is desirable, as is experience acting as a Company Secretary. You’ll be confident leading cross-functional teams, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the organisation. Flexibility, integrity, and a commitment to our values are essential.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Governance and Secretariat

• Lead the governance function, ensuring excellent support and strategic guidance to the Board, Committees, CEO and SLT.
• Manage statutory duties including Companies House and Charity Commission filings.
• Oversee Trustee induction, development, and ongoing governance training.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of agendas, minutes, and decision records.
• Act as the primary liaison for legal, constitutional, and regulatory matters.

Quality, Risk and Assurance

• Develop and maintain quality assurance systems to monitor performance and learning.
• Line manage the Health, Safety & Environment Business Partner and National Facilities Manager.
• Oversee investigations into complaints, serious incidents, and whistleblowing concerns.
• Maintain and report on the Board Assurance Framework and Risk Register.
• Lead preparation and coordination for audits (including ISO, Home Office, and other regulators).
• Ensure that actions taken in pursuit of the Quality, Risk and Assurance agenda link to a budget and engage with the relevant budget holders as required. 

Regulatory and Legal Compliance

• Serve as the organisation’s Data Protection Officer.
• Ensure organisational compliance with relevant legislation (charity, company, GDPR, health & safety, etc.).
• Review internal policies and procedures to maintain regulatory alignment.
• Advise departments and project leads on relevant compliance and risk issues.

Culture and Continuous Improvement

• Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure that quality, governance, and assurance practices reflect the charity’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Support alignment across St John Councils and internal departments with national standards and policies.

Embody and exemplify the charity’s values at all times and hold others to account for the same

We have an exciting role as a fundraising officer to join our small but ambitious fundraising team. We are embarking on a significant capital redevelopment, and will raise income through trusts and foundations, individual donations and corporate supporters.

You will be responsible for supporting the Head of Fundraising with timely communications to both supporters and prospective donors, researching potential fundraising opportunities, maintaining the CRM system and reconciling fundraising accounts.

You will be involved in the creation of fundraising campaigns and be required to liaise with team members from across the organisation to gather information to develop them. Fundraising sits within the Income Generation team and you will work closely with the Head of Retail and Enterprise and the Marketing Manager.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic fundraiser who will help develop and implement a new community fundraising strategy, and become the face of SpecialEffect in the local area – building relationships with supporters, mobilising volunteers, and working on creative fundraising initiatives that raise vital income and awareness.

This role will form strong and lasting relationships with our existing community and local business supporters with a focus on sustained engagement, retention and growth. They will also be involved in identifying and developing new community partners to ensure a reliable source of income for the future.

Elements of the community fundraising coordinator brief as defined in the job description currently sit across a number of existing team members, so you will need the confidence to work alongside your colleagues to define your supporter base and manage the handover of key contacts to ensure a smooth transition of responsibility.

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London.  All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment. 

We are recruiting Employment Advisors to join our IPS service, you will be based in Newham, working 35 hours per week. Working Well Trust's services have previously been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres closely to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment. 

Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. We welcome applications from people with lived experience of mental health, either personally or through a close contact.

You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in mental health, and the role it plays in the workplace. The successful candidate will need to become comfortable in approaching employers, and showcase the advantages of our service in order to work with them to recruit our clients to fill vacancies and sustain employment.

You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.

You will work as part of a mental health team (NHS Trust) maintaining positive and integrated relationships, fostering a holistic approach to recovery through employment. You will work closely with clinical teams, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led.  You will also be working to targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

About the role 

This is a key role in providing administration and organisational support to the CEO and the Board.
