This is an exciting role supporting the Supporter Experience team in delivering an extensive portfolio of campaign selections and supporter journeys across the NSPCC. The team, which sits within the Communications division, is responsible for managing communications with warm supporters. The team works with Campaign Managers to use data effectively in supporter communications, ensuring supporters receive an excellent experience of the NSPCC.

This role will be responsible for planning and delivering supporter journeys and data selections for NSPCC campaigns, based on briefs developed with Campaign Managers and internal teams. This will primarily use FastStats, PeopleStage and Adestra, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.

The successful candidate will have experience of mailing selections and automated journey creation, as well as an understanding of how data can be applied to create complex and tailored supporter journeys using dynamic content, journey logic, personalisation and reporting. The successful candidate will also have strong interpersonal skills and be experienced in developing and maintaining working relationships across various teams.

The team work within Cats Protection to identify issues and provide technical solutions, utilizing both off the shelf products or in-house developed solutions as required. Internal solutions are built using a range of technologies focused around the Azure Stack, including low code/no code solutions, C# and T-SQL code as required.

Responsibilities of our Solution Developer:

As a Solution Developer you will be working on a number of exciting new projects as well as helping to support and upgrade existing applications. This role gives the post holder exposure to Cloud First development work and the opportunity to work with the latest technology.

Current projects include:

• Updating our Neutering Finance system to move from a paperbased system towards an electronic version
• Replacing our CRM, a system at the heart of many of our processes and data flows, and integrating it with a number of new and existing systems
• The redevelopment/migration of existing systems into fully cloud based systems.

What we’re looking for in our Solution Developer:

• Significant experience in software development using C# and TSQL or another development skill involving systems implementation
• Experience in functional and automated testing, producing test driven development
• Demonstratable knowledge of Azure Stack development, specifically around pipelines, functions, logic apps and service buses
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• The ability to apply specific quality standards to all tasks undertaken to ensure that deliverables are accurate and complete
• To show understanding for the needs of the internal or external customer and keeping these in mind when taking actions or making decisions

To oversee the day-to-day delivery of CQC registered high quality dignified residential care and support services promoting respect, equality and the independence of the people supported.

Principal Accountabilities

• Efficiently manage the day-to-day delivery of the adult residential care home service

Everyday millions of older and disabled people are denied the social care they need. Most local authorities can’t meet the growing demand for care, none are confident they can meet their legal duties in the future. This affects all of us, we will all need social care at some point.

About the role

This is an exciting time to join our organisation. We have a new strategy and are growing quickly including across our senior leadership team. About the Team

This role is part of the Communications, Policy, and Campaigns (CPC) team, which drives Shelter's ground-breaking campaigning efforts.

The CPC team leads initiatives advocating for social housing, renters' rights, and ending the housing emergency.

As our Assistant Director Activism & Advocacy, you'll work alongside other Assistant Directors, contributing to a collaborative, non-hierarchical decision-making environment.

About the Role

As Assistant Director Activism & Advocacy, you will provide strategic direction to the heads of Digital campaigning, Community Organising, Policy, Research, and Public Affairs teams.

You'll support the development of high-profile campaigns and drive continual improvement to achieve Shelter's strategic goals.

This role involves building strong relationships across Shelter, promoting collaboration, and acting as a spokesperson when required.

You'll need excellent political instincts, campaign experience, and the ability to oversee the production of high-quality policy and research.

About You

We're seeking candidates with experience in matrix management environments, senior leadership skills in project/change management, and a track record of impactful campaigning, policy, research, or public affairs activities.

You should demonstrate the Shelter Behaviours, including collaboration, prioritising diversity, enabling decision-making, creating change, openness to risk, and learning from experiences.

About the role

This is an exciting time to join Myeloma UK as we launch our new five year strategy. 

The post holder will be responsible for developing evidence led scientific communications that help engage new audiences as we aim to reach new people as part of our strategic goals.  You will use your science communication expertise to bring our research and scientific information to life for a variety of audiences from people affected by myeloma to health care professionals as well as scientists and researchers.

You will support other teams across Myeloma UK by helping to develop engaging evidence led impactful communications that can be used for appeals, case for support and other activities.  You’ll also work with our research and health care professional community to engage and involve them in our communications activities.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced individual to lead our volunteer development activity. Working closely with
the Fundraising, Delivery and Marketing teams, this is a varied role working with alumni and employee
volunteers to support activities in our member schools.

You will lead on the development of our volunteer community which is managed online through the Future
First Hub, and be responsible for developing and delivering a programme of activities that nurture
relationships with Future First’s diverse audience of volunteers, and increases support for the charity’s
fundraising and development goals.

You will have excellent customer service skills, be proactive and detail oriented and have the ability to
manage multiple projects at any one time. You will be confident in the use of standard office technology, as
well as experienced in the use of databases and IT applications.

Key Duties and responsibilities

• To be responsible for developing Future First’s volunteer relations strategy, and associated budget with a particular focus on the development of an engaged community, and a focus on the needs of employee volunteer schemes.
• To seek opportunities to raise the profile of the volunteer network, and grow its capacity and reach.
• To develop our work mapping and implementing recommendations against the Investing in Volunteers standard.
• To be responsible for running volunteer events and producing relevant communication materials.
• To participate in the strategic development of the Future First online Hub powering our school and volunteer community.
• To recruit volunteers and provide appropriate training and development opportunities, to include consideration of a volunteer board, and engagement activities targeted at the growing near peer volunteer community.
• To work closely with other departments to develop and implement their strategies for engagement.
• To work collaboratively with the fundraising team to explore and support volunteer philanthropy.
• To ensure that a robust monitoring and evaluation framework is in place for volunteer relations.

This is a permanent position. The salary is between £34,000 and £36,000. Future First staff receive pro rata
28 days of leave (in addition to 8 UK public holidays) increasing one day per year of service up to 33.
