Job description

Lord’s Taverners

The Lord’s Taverners exists to positively impact the lives of young people facing the challenges of inequality. Through inclusive and transformative cricket programmes, we empower young people with disabilities and from disadvantaged communities across the UK and beyond.

We are now seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Partnerships Officer to join our Fundraising and Communications directorate. Sitting within the Corporate, Trusts and Foundations team, you will join a small and ambitious team responsible for raising millions of pounds annually from an expanding portfolio of partners.

The Role

This is an exciting and varied role that will provide fundraising, reporting and administrative support to our Corporate, Trusts and Foundations team. The postholder will be expected to provide exceptional stewardship to existing partners, contribute to prospect identification and support the development and submission of funding submissions that will benefit thousands of young people experiencing disadvantage and disability.

You will play a key role in representing and championing the Lord’s Taverners’ mission and values, ensuring that our fundraising partnerships contribute meaningfully to positive outcomes for young people through inclusive sport.

About You

You will be an organised, proactive and enthusiastic individual who enjoys building meaningful relationships. You will bring strong written and verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and an ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and ambitious fundraising environment.

You will bring:

  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with an enthusiasm for building meaningful funding relationships
  • A flexible, agile mindset and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A willingness and ability to travel to support at events and external meetings with partners, as required
  • A proactive, fundraising-focused mindset

At Lord’s Taverners, sport is a means to an end. We are looking for people who share our belief in sport’s power to change lives, and who are motivated by impact, inclusion and opportunity for young people.
