The job holder will provide outreach & support sessions, deliver groups and events for carers and other relevant partners across Salford. Creating exciting new opportunities for carers through networking and building partnerships.
The role will focus on the outreach provision, working in different locations across Salford providing training to employers about the issues faced by working carers. In the role you will also connect with other organisations to create partnership and referral options. The role will include supporting the continued development of the service, assisting with the creation of resources and training. The role will also support our involvement offer; ensuring carers are at the forefront of service change and service delivery.

Our Counsellors are a lifeline to people in need of talking treatment providing a safe clinical space for individuals to speak out about negative life events and take back control of their lives. We are now recruiting a qualified counsellor to offer life-changing, talking treatments to adults experiencing mild to moderate mental health and wellbeing needs in GP practices across the Rhondda to temporarily provide maternity cover. Main duties and responsibilities
To uphold and promote best practice in the delivery of high-quality person-centred counselling / psychotherapy services to ensure all Cwm Taf Morgannwg Mind services are safe, ethical and client centred in line with the Mind Quality Mark.
To accurately capture data taking direction from the Counselling supervisor, and colleagues in Primary Care to ensure robust quality monitoring is undertaken and all patient notes accounted for in the delivery of counselling /psychotherapeutic services.
In collaboration with internal and external colleagues to explore how we can improve the counselling / psychotherapeutic experience for people who use our services, implementing recommendations and learning from clinical supervision, team meetings, line management meetings, and your own reflections to improve and refine your professional counselling practice. Duty Officer:
– Opening and closing of the Sovereign Centre, depending on shift, and ensure the safety of the area in adherence with YMCA procedures.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled digital content creator who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment. The Digital Content and Communications Officer (DCCO) reports to the Digital Communications Manager and has responsibility for the SAT-7 UK website, digital marketing and social media.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Website: Developing and updating SAT-7’s websites as inspiring platforms to raise profile, income and engagement.
Emails: Work with colleagues in the Communications Team and across the organisation to build, test and send responsive email templates for all SAT-7 UK’s email requirements (meeting SAT-7’s brand guidelines and conforming to industry standards). Use email marketing tool DotDigital to develop automated communications that strengthen supporter engagement and convert recipients into committed donors.
Content: Deliver engaging and inspiring rich media content across a range of digital channels, including web, email, podcasts, social media and other digital marketing platforms.
Social Media: Work closely with other team members to deliver strong social media content and engagement across various platforms, chiefly Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn.
Digital Marketing: Support the digital marketing of SAT-7 resources and campaigns through social media advertising, external agencies and other channels as required, to engage more deeply with existing supporters and donors, raise profile, acquire new supporters and to raise funds for SAT-7 UK.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- In all communication ensure consistent messaging, branding and tone of voice for the intended audience and that content conforms to the security and style guides.
- Use Customer Relationship Management systems to ensure efficient and secure storage of information.
- Assist members of the team in responding appropriately to communications from supporters and other organisations.
- Liaise with SAT-7 staff from other offices to share ideas and resources.
- Assist the Digital Communications Manager and represent SAT-7 UK at conferences and events as required.
- At all times operate within relevant statutory requirements and guidelines, following best practice recommendations wherever possible. Specially ensure compliance with the Fundraising Regulator and General Data Protection Regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement donor engagement strategies and initiatives to attract, retain, and upgrade individual and institutional donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.

Qualifications and experience

The Upper Room (TUR) works with a wide range of financially and socially disadvantaged groups including homeless people, people with long-term mental health conditions, asylum-seekers, refugees and ex-offenders – helping them to improve their lives and become productive members of society. Central to our offering is our UR4Meals service, providing free, home-cooked food to people who cannot afford to provide for themselves. The role
Is an exciting new edition to the TUR team, created to capitalise on the fact that the number of businesses in our catchment area is 45000+, but we’re not trying to talk to all of them, just target a few – ideally by gaining referrals and recommendations. So the job is to proactively find those local businesses happy to talk to us, understand what they might be looking for by partnering with a charity, share our brilliant story along with the business case (which is strong) for them to get involved with us in some way. About You
You live within - or know well, West/Central London, you probably need a job with some working flexibility and want to have genuine belief in the product or service you’re talking about. We are looking for an exceptional philanthropic fundraising leader, with experience of leading an appeal and first-hand programme management skills, to undertake a one year maternity cover as the Interim Head of Child Opportunity Appeal.
