Trustee Vacancy – Solden Hill House

We are seeking up to four new Trustees to join our Board and help shape the charity's next chapter.

The Role

As a Trustee, you will help provide strategic leadership, good governance and financial oversight, ensuring the charity remains strong, sustainable and focused on the people we support.

You will:

• Help shape the charity's strategic direction
• Provide constructive challenge and support to the leadership team
• Ensure good governance and regulatory compliance
• Safeguard the charity's assets, reputation and future
• Contribute to Board discussions and decisions
• Attend four scheduled Board meetings per year, with dates agreed a year in advance, and occasional additional meetings as required

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for people with good professional input, integrity and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Experience at Board or senior management level is helpful, but not essential.

We would particularly welcome applications from people with experience in:

• Health and social care
• Learning disability services
• Safeguarding
• Charity governance and compliance
• HR
• Property and estates
• Fundraising and income generation
• Marketing and communications
• Business leadership and strategic planning

Previous Trustee experience is not required. Full induction and ongoing support will be provided.
