The Role
We are looking for a Programme Lead – Climate Advocacy and Green Buildings to join Reall’s Programme and Business Development Team, lead Reall’s climate and green buildings agenda, support our climate advocacy efforts and drive the organisation forward as a global thought and practice-leader in climate-smart and affordable homes. About the role
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in sustainable urban development, ideally including affordable housing in emerging markets.
- Expertise in green buildings and their relationship to sustainability goals such as the Paris Agreement and the SDGs.
- Knowledge of, or experience in a relevant green buildings’ certification tool (such as EDGE, BREEAM, LEED etc.).
- Strategy planning capabilities, and excellent project and programme design and management capabilities.
- Excellent relationship building, collaboration, influencing and listening skills.

Salary – £45,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on experience

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Organisational Funding Manager to act as a point of contact between 10 voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations, Auriga Services and Utilita Giving. Building positive relationships with all stakeholders to successfully deliver the place-based support element of the Utilita Giving pilot.
As a Organisational Funding Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of investment funds, ensuring their efficient operation and growth.

The hours for this role are Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8am to 4pm, Wednesday 12noon to 8pm & Saturday 9am to 5pm.
As a Caseworker you will:
- Effectively managing a caseload, delivering excellent services via telephone, video call and in person to support service users
- Assessing need and risk at initial contact and on an on-going basis
- Developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans for those affected by crime, who accept ongoing support. Support will include providing resources, interventions, and information to all service users
- Helping service users build healthy coping mechanisms and providing practical support and information
- Identifying and providing action to safeguarding concerns
- Working collaboratively with key partners
- Using a bespoke case management system to maintain accurate and confidential records and contributing to monitoring information including the collection of outcomes
- Delivering awareness raising sessions on the impact of crime to partner agencies and community groups and participating in community events.

- An understanding of the impact of crime
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- A proven track record of successfully delivering services and working directly within a statutory, voluntary or multi agency setting(s)

Kijana Kwanza UK provides support to the work in Tanzania in particular through fundraising, governance oversight, and some advisory engagement in project delivery. A new post, Director of Partnerships and Income Generation, will lead on income generation at Kijana Kwanza to increase their operating budget and reduce reliance on the founder’s personal contacts and networks who have generously supported the charity since inception.
The successful applicant will be an experienced strategic leader, with demonstrable experience of developing sound fundraising strategies across diverse sources. S/he will have a track record in securing six-figure income from philanthropic sources, including corporations and major donors. Experience in similar types of settings and a demonstrable commitment to the aims and values of Kijana Kwanza are required.
