Head of Fundraising

The Wave Project is the UK’s leading Surf Therapy charity, a pioneer in using surfing as a form of therapy. As a multi award winning charity we pride ourselves on delivering a big impact with a small, committed team of 35 staff and 1,400 wonderful volunteers. In 2025, we supported over 2,600 children and young people to improve their confidence, self-esteem, resilience and social skills.

The Head of Fundraising is a key member of the charity’s Senior Leadership Team and provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across all fundraising activities, ensuring sustainable income growth and enhancing The Wave Project’s visibility and impact. The role is critical to fostering a strong supporter base, developing innovative campaigns, and cultivating partnerships that align with the charity’s mission of transforming young lives through Surf Therapy.

They will lead a small, talented team and will also work closely with our delivery team across the country, who are an essential part of our fundraising efforts.
