The Outreach Money Advice Caseworker will provide specialist money and debt advice to people experiencing financial hardship, with a particular focus on preventing homelessness, sustaining tenancies and supporting residents to achieve long-term financial stability. Working as part of the Exeter Crisis & Resilience Fund partnership, you will manage a caseload of clients experiencing complex financial circumstances, providing FCA-regulated debt advice, welfare benefits advice, budgeting support, advocacy and practical assistance. As Homelessness Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality, structured, person-centred support to companions in supported housing, enabling them to build independence, achieve planned outcomes, progress along a clear pathway and successfully move on to independent living. The role is responsible for coordinating and managing each individual’s support plan, ensuring all interventions are outcome-focused and aligned to progression goals.

YMCA Hastings provides medium-low supported accommodation for a total of 47 young people at risk of homelessness, aged 16 to 25, and care experienced young people under the age of 18. Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.
We are now recruiting the team that will deliver Crisis at Christmas 2026. This unique project mobilises a huge volunteering effort to provide warmth, companionship and vital services in temporary centres across London to people facing homelessness.

About the role
This role will support the planning and delivery of Crisis at Christmas, helping to ensure our services run safely, effectively and efficiently across London. Working alongside the Operations Officer, you will assist with a wide range of operational activities including supporting Christmas centres, coordinating transport and logistics, maintaining relationships with schools, hotels and other venue providers, and helping to manage warehouse operations.

We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Waking Night Support Worker to join our Homelessness Social Care Service in Kensington & Chelsea.
£23,088.00 per annum, working 30 hours per week. 3 nights on and 4 nights off
