About the Role
Coram Group’s Human Resources team sits at the heart of the organisation and has a reputation for excellent customer service and advice. As the organisation continues to grow we are looking for an HR apprentice to support the work of the team. We are looking for an enthusiastic ‘can do’ person who wishes to pursue a career in HR. As part of the apprenticeship you will gain a Level 3 CIPD certificate in Human Resource Practice which will consist of both classroom based training and work based experience.
We are seeking someone who has good inter-personal skills, a willingness to learn and can be flexible in order to support the needs of a busy department. Previous experience of working within a HR team is not essential but you must be able to show experience of working in an administrative environment.
Working as part of this busy team there will be plenty of opportunities for the successful candidate to get involved in a wide range of activities and get a truly rounded view of HR. Reset is a bold new incubation designed to dramatically change the lives of some of the most vulnerable children in England today for the better.
Reset exists for children who are on, or at risk of being placed on Deprivation of Liberty orders due to the high risks they face from themselves or others, their complex and intersecting needs, and due to the lack of effective support available.
The children Reset will support are likely to be aged 12 to 18 and face complex challenges that often stem from the impact of traumatic childhood experiences, such as mental ill-health, self-harming, being sexually and/or criminally exploited and getting caught in harmful risk-taking behaviours including the use of harmful substances such as drugs and alcohol.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the New Economics Foundation to work as a community organiser on the Women Bridging Communities programme in Greater Manchester.
At its core, the programme responds to a critical and growing challenge: the erosion of trust, increasing polarisation, and fragmentation across communities in the UK. The programmes centres the distinct role women already play in sustaining communities.
Women Bridging Communities creates the conditions for women across differences to come together, build relationships, strengthen relational power, and shape the spaces where decisions and influence sit.
Reporting to the Senior Community Organiser, your focus will be on building the power and leadership of women in Greater Manchester in order to tackle polarisation through collective action. This work will involve developing leaders’ organising craft and leadership, listening to people about the issues in their local areas, identifying local campaigns and leaders, and equipping people with organising skills to take action together at a local and regional level.
You will need to be an experienced organiser and campaigner. You must have a demonstratable commitment to women and addressing polarisation, and be skilled in facilitation and communication with a wide range of audiences. You must have a track record of working with a diverse range of groups and have an understanding of the wider political context causing polarisation.

Hours of work: Part Time (24 hours per week)
Salary: £42, 868 - £45,850 pro rata
Location: Based in Greater Manchester.
Contract type: Fixed Term, 12-month contract.
