Position: A level Group Tutor Contractor (various subjects)
Location: UK (nationwide, remote)
Contract: For the 2026/27 academic year with the option to renew at the end of the year
Salary: £38 per tutorial

About the Role
Are you an experienced A level tutor? Can you support under-resourced young people to reach their full academic potential?
We are looking for passionate and qualified A level tutors to deliver high quality group tuition to students. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced tutors with a love of learning to help bright students overcome barriers to academic achievement. Tutorials are delivered online to groups of up to 4 students via our bespoke online learning platform.
Tutorials generally take place between the hours of 3pm and 8pm on weekday evenings, with flexibility around the schedules of our tutors and students.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead weekly hour-long tutorials with your tutor group(s), via the online learning platform
- Responsively plan and deliver stimulating, high quality tuition in line with the Quality Assurance Framework
- Effectively monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback when requested
- Complete weekly attendance forms, supply monthly invoices, and complete other administrative duties as required
- Participate in observation and feedback process, taking advantage of continuous professional development opportunities
- Follow safeguarding policies, supporting the wellbeing of your students at all times
Successful candidates must have the right to work in the UK by the time the work commences

About You
You will have at least two years A level teaching and/or tutoring experience and a positive, engaging and flexible teaching style.
You will also have:
- Familiarity with and strong knowledge of relevant exam boards and specifications
- Evidence of ability to tutor one or more of the following subjects to A level standard: Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or Maths
- Ability to commit to weekly hour-long tutorials at the same time each week over the academic year
- UK based, with the right to work in the UK
- Passionate about organisations mission

We’re currently recruiting a part-time (28 hours per week) Counselling Service Manager to manage one of the Charity’s counselling services and work with colleagues across our services in Croydon, Merton and Sutton. For this post you need to have a counselling/mental health qualification along with extensive clinical and management experience. We are also looking for people with an open and flexible attitude; excellent engagement skills and a passion for working with children and young people around mental health.
Responsibilities include supporting less experienced staff and supporting the cohesive working between services within the charity. In addition, you will be offering a flexible range of short-term and longer-term mental health interventions to children and young people aged 11-25 including individual and group-based support; workshops; crisis support; mental health themed activities. The posts have scope and opportunity for developing new initiatives and ways of working to support young people’s mental health across South London.
All posts are fully office based and will require flexible working across service areas and interventions and will involve some regular evening and/or weekend work to meet the needs of young people.
