The purpose of this role is to raise the profile of the services and impact of Sobus, and the wider VCS community in Hammersmith & Fulham.  The Marketing and Social Media Officer will be responsible for capturing, on a weekly basis, high quality, insightful and inspiring media from Sobus services and projects, together with regular showcasing of local VCS services and achievements.  The role offers flexibility to accommodate the needs of the individual as far as is reasonably practicable with regard to the needs of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

1. Content creation:Capture and develop compelling content for marketing materials, including social media posts, website copy, blog posts, newsletters and other promotional materials to create content that showcases Sobus’s services, successes and impact, and that of the wider VCS community. 
2. Utlise various channels, including social media, email marketing, newsletters and traditional advertising to reach and engage with the community.
3. Maintain and update our website and social media accounts
4. Develop Marketing Campaigns: create and execute marketing campaigns to raise awareness of Sobus and the wider VCS community.
5. Event promotion: Support the planning and promotion of outreach and funding events, and other events hosted by Sobus and our partners

Person specification/required experience

· Proven experience in media capture, marketing, public relations or related fields

· A regular and dynamic user of, and proven experience and proficiency in social media management, content creation and digital marketing tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and narratives
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with media and social media contacts, stakeholders and community members
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies and campaigs
• Basic knowledge of PR best practice, media relations and event promotion strategies.

Our partnership in Zambia is six years old. King’s Global Health Partnerships (KGHP) initiated a long-term partnership with Arthur Davison Children’s Hospital and Ndola Teaching hospital, in Ndola province, Zambia. Work in Zambia has focused on maternal and newborn health, breast cancer surgery, antimicrobial stewardship and health worker wellbeing.

KGHP is based within the School of Life Course & Population Sciences. The School of Life Course & Population Sciences is one of five Schools that make up the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine at King’s College London. About the role

We are looking for a Programme Manager to lead on the management of our current programme activities in Somaliland and Zambia. The role will lead on the management of various grants/ projects within our Somaliland and Zambia partnerships as well as strengthening our partnership approaches in these two countries. The role will be responsible for project closeout, startup of new projects secured as well as developing new funding proposals to support the aims as set out in our partnership and organisational strategies. 

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

1. BSc or MSc in Global Health or International Relations or aligned subject
2. Relevant experience managing multiple projects (including large and complex grants/contracts) throughout the full project cycle, preferably projects delivered by consortiums
3. Relevant experience working collaboratively with partner organisations in low resource settings
4. Financial management and budgeting experience for complex multi-year, multi-partner projects
5. Experience of developing MEL strategies for large and complex programmes, including developing indicators, theories of change, learning processes
6. Experience coordinating and managing the development of successful funding proposals including institutional donors such as FCDO and the DHSC
7. Significant experience in donor compliance and relationship management, preferably including trusts and foundations and institutional donors

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

The Role

Following an exciting period of growth, CoppaFeel! is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Finance Officer to join our expanding team. You’ll be working closely with our Director of Finance and Senior Finance Manager to help manage CoppaFeel!’s day-to-day finances and contribute to a range of essential finance functions. As part of a newly developed finance team, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact as we shape our systems and processes to support our continued growth.

We’re looking for someone with experience working in a finance role, ideally within a small team or charity environment. You’ll need to be confident using accounting software (we use Xero), have strong Excel skills, and be comfortable working independently. Most importantly, you’ll be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to the success of our mission.

This role can be full time of part time with a minimum of 26.25 hours per week.

This role sits within the Finance team and reports to the Senior Finance Manager. This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.

Duties & Responsibilities

Month end tasks

• Reconcile all bank accounts, fixed asset register, depreciation, payables and receivables
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Support the posting and review of month-end journals
• Assist in the preparation of weekly payment runs and reports
• Support the administration/checking of the pensions and employee benefits
• Maintaining accurate records restricted fund transactions

Quarterly tasks

• Prepare and submit basic VAT returns
• Assist with Gift Aid claims and ensure accurate donor Gift Aid records are maintained

Stakeholder

• Oversee and provide cover for the Finance Assistant, ensuring smooth processing of donations via fundraising platforms
• Collaborate with the CRM Officer and Fundraising Team to ensure accurate donation records
• Provide finance-related support and training to staff, including inductions and updates to finance policies

Procurement

• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions (including systems)
• Support creating, maintaining and checking procurement checklist in accordance to policy
• Supporting in value for money costings and basic ROI’s

Other tasks

• Support with the annual audit and annual report
• Work closely with the Operations Team and others on cross-organisational projects
• Undertake general administrative and ad-hoc finance tasks, including handling finance post, banking, event support, and processing physical Gift Aid/sponsorship forms
• Undertake any other reasonable duties or responsibilities as required by the Charity, in line with the needs of the organisation.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Essential

• Experience working in a small finance team with responsibility for a broad range of finance tasks
• Excellent numeracy skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Sound understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, lookups, formulas)

We are looking for a dynamic, self-starting and motivated individual who will work as the sole fundraising staff member in a growing team for a small youth mentoring/mental health charity that is based in Oxfordshire. We are currently a team of around 10 working in schools in Oxford and the surrounding area. 

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a fundraiser, with prior experience, who is passionate about youth mental health and wellbeing, and who wants to make a real difference to the life chances of children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The role is offered initially on a contractor basis and is based on hourly pay at £25/hour. It is initially a fixed-term, one year role but this, together with the hours and the basis of the role are negotiable for the right candidate after the first year.

The Racial Justice Panel (RJP) was established by the Archbishops’ Council in December 2024 following the successful conclusion of the work on the Archbishops' Commission for Racial Justice led by the Lord Boateng PC, CVO. The RJP is to provide independent assurance that the work of racial justice is being carried out effectively by the Church, in accordance with agreed plans and wider best practice.

The RJP Panel, albeit a critical friend, maintains its independence, offering rigorous scrutiny and challenge to the Church in its work on racial justice including examining progress against strategic and delivery plans. It shall produce an annual report to be laid before the General Synod. 

The RJP are looking to appoint an experienced independent Chair who will provide excellent leadership, direction and independent scrutiny and challenge to the Church of England and bring external expertise from holding a highly senior role. 

They are looking for an independent chair who:

• Is a gifted leader, who will support the Church of England in further strengthening its safeguarding arrangements and partnerships.
• Is passionate about working collaboratively at all levels, with a proven track record in improvement work at a national level.
• Knows how to hold organisations to account and possesses the skills to support the development of senior leaders.
• Understands through senior level personal experience, the core aspects of racial justice at a national level and in the field of statutory and/or voluntary sector.
• Is empathetic, strategic, emotional and has analytical skills, and able to act as a ‘critical friend’ in supporting and challenging people and institutions to help improve their racial justice focus, practice and arrangements.
• Has a relevant academic or professional qualification.
• Has an understanding of the structure of the Church of England and an appreciation for the role that faith plays in the context of racial justice.

The successful candidate will be a senior leader, with excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

1. Programme Development and Delivery

• Lead on the development and delivery of Wikimedia UK’s education programme, in collaboration with the Director of Programmes and Evaluation and other colleagues

About the Role

• Community Resettlement Workers support clients who have moved in to independent accommodation, usually from the street or hostels. The accommodation is across London and your role is to work alongside individuals as they transition towards independence.
• By adopting a flexible, creative and personalised approach you will support individuals to manage their tenancies in the community and improve their quality of life.
• This service is a stepping stone towards independence and you will continue to work with these clients for up to two years to prevent them from returning to the street, to support them to build networks of support in their local community and to help them to move on into permanent accommodation.
• This role is offered as a fixed term contract until 31st March 2026.
• This role will require travel to various London boroughs.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join a small, committed and experienced team supporting children, young people and families before and after the death of a parent or sibling. SeeSaw is a local award-winning charity, established in 1999 and providing grief support for Oxfordshire families since 2000. 

We are looking for candidates who have experience of working with children and young people, and their families. You may have gained experience in a range of settings, but the most important quality is the ability to communicate effectively and to make and sustain supportive relationships with families. 

Our practitioners have a caseload of individual children and their families, and liaise with professionals from schools, health, social care and children and young people’s mental health services, as well as with our team of Volunteer Support Workers. You will be able to work collaboratively and on your own initiative, ideally have a qualification in health care, social work, counselling, psychological services or education; knowledge of therapeutic interventions in grief work would be helpful but not essential as training will be given. 

Men, younger people, and individuals from minoritised communities are underrepresented in our workforce and we are particularly keen to encourage applications from these groups.

About the Role

The Refugee and Migrant Centre is seeking to appoint two Employment Coaches, one full-time and one part-time – to support clients in overcoming barriers to employment and moving closer to the labour market.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide one-to-one employment support to clients, including CV building, job search assistance, interview preparation, and completing job applications.

· Assess clients' skills, experience, and employment goals to develop tailored action plans.

· Support clients in accessing training, work placements, and volunteering opportunities to enhance employability.

· Liaise with employers and training providers to identify suitable opportunities for clients.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, tracking progress and outcomes in line with organisational requirements.

· Work collaboratively with other teams and services within the organisation to provide holistic support.

· Support the delivery of employment workshops or group sessions where needed.

· Promote and uphold the values and policies of the Refugee and Migrant Centre in all aspects of work.

Essential Requirements:

· Minimum 2 years' experience working directly with clients on employment-related matters.

· IAG level 3 qualification or commitment to complete.

· Good knowledge of the UK job market, including current recruitment practices.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

· Organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied caseload.

· Competent in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and online job search platforms.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

· Ability to speak additional languages relevant to the client base.

· Experience working with refugees, asylum seekers, or migrants.

· Understanding of welfare-to-work programmes or similar employability schemes.

· Experience in delivering group workshops or training sessions.

· Knowledge of local employment and training opportunities in the Birmingham area.

Flexibility

In order to deliver the stated aims of this post, a degree of flexibility is needed and the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above. Such duties will fall within the scope of the job within the appropriate pay grade.
