We are looking for a friendly, reliable and community-minded PCV-licensed driver to join our Charity of I Can & I Am. We visit schools on board converted double decker buses working with children and young people across the South West in schools within an hour's drive of the Bath area. On board, we run cooking workshops in the specially converted downstairs of the bus and then workshops educating young people on self-belief in the comfortable seating area on the top deck of the bus.

This is a unique and rewarding role combining:

• driving our double decker bus to schools,
• helping support activities on board,
• assisting with setup and coordination,
• and being part of a small, supportive team.

This is not a standard commercial driving role and would particularly suit:

• semi-retired bus or coach drivers,
• drivers seeking better work/life balance,
• or someone looking for meaningful part-time work.

The Role

• Drive one of the 3 double decker buses safely to locations across the South West
• Support with the cooking and wellbeing workshops delivered on board
• Help with setup and pack down
• Carry out routine vehicle checks
• Work closely with the I Can & I Am team and staff within the schools
• Help create a welcoming and positive environment for young people

As a Project Manager, you'll be the driving force, applying your deep knowledge of project management methodologies and tools to manage the entire lifecycle of projects.

About the role

In this role you will work on community-driven projects with diverse stakeholders and understand the need for hard-stop project delivery deadlines.

You’ll be an active member of the Performance & Programme Delivery (P&PD) team, working collaboratively across practices, and supporting the Senior Project Manager (Portfolio) in advocating for and nurturing good project management practice across the organisation.

This role is fixed-term for 12 months.

  About the role

  As our Senior Data Executive, you’ll support team members involved in import activities, conducts root cause analysis to resolve issues, and work closely with the Data Operations and Data Engineering teams to troubleshoot and improve processes.

  Ensuring all import documentation is maintained and kept up to date, you’ll drive continuous improvement across data and import-related practices, whilst also championing data import best practice and proactively identifying areas for improvement. 

  About you

  IT literate and fully conversant with Microsoft packages, you’ll have familiarity with CRM databases and, ideally, an understanding of charity fundraising. You’ll also have a good understanding of ETL tools, CRM systems, and database packages (Blackbaud Enterprise CRM, MS Dynamics 365, etc.).

  You’ll have previous experience of running data imports, ensuring quality, integrity and accuracy of data using an ETL tool, as well as experience of GDPR and dealing with confidential data, and using Blackbaud CRM, or have equivalent CRM knowledge. 

  To be successful in this role you’ll also have the following skills and experience:

  • Highly numerate.
  • Able to take a proactive approach to problem-solving, taking initiative to identify and resolve issues independently and a tenacious attitude to root cause analysis.

The role

We are seeking a creative, agile and ambitious Graphic Designer to lead the visual identity of our flagship educational programme, Topical Talk Headlines.

Working three days a week, this role offers an extraordinary amount of creative freedom. Every week brings a brand-new global news story, and it will be up to you to establish its unique look and feel. From choosing typography and vibrant colour palettes to deciding between illustration and photography, you will have the autonomy to design resources that make complex, intimidating global issues accessible and engaging for young people aged 10-16 around the world.

Reporting to the Director of Programmes and working closely with our experienced in-house Designer, you will be embedded in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will partner with our expert team of ex-teacher content creators to brainstorm, iterate and deliver world-class classroom resources on tight, overlapping deadlines. While your primary focus will be Topical Talk Headlines, you will also support wider brand and marketing projects across the charity as time allows. 

Responsibilities

Visual identity and resource creation:

• Own the weekly design of Topical Talk Headlines: translate complex global topics into beautiful, clear and practical learning resources, from worksheets and posters to interactive slides and educational games
• Design for global accessibility: use clear information hierarchy, considered layouts and colour-signposting to support teachers and ensure students, including those learning in a non-native language, can seamlessly navigate nuanced concepts
• Uphold our brand standard: deliver high-quality, polished designs that our teachers expect and that reflect the premium reputation of The Economist Educational Foundation
• Design for modern youth experiences: create contemporary, vibrant visuals that reflect and respect how young people engage with the world
• Source impactful imagery: curate and adapt photography and illustration using stock libraries as a base, applying our specific brand guidelines to pick authentic, non-cliché visuals that resonate with children and enhance global stories

Collaboration and production management:

• Work in tandem with Educational Content Leads: engage in rapid, collaborative feedback loops to edit and refine resources, ensuring perfect alignment between the text and visual design
• Manage overlapping production schedules: stay highly organised across a quick, 2.5-week production cycle from initial brainstorming to final digital publication
• Maintain strict quality control: catch typos, spot alignment issues and make sure layouts stay clean and consistent from page to page

Innovation and process improvement:

• Proactively suggest process improvements: identify new tools, templates or workflows to optimise our internal production and feedback loops
• Champion student engagement: stay curious about modern design trends. Gather visual inspiration to introduce interactive digital formats or fresh aesthetic approaches to our lessons

Skills and behaviours

You are a creative self-starter who is passionate about global current affairs and believes that great design can change how young people understand the world. You possess the following:

• A portfolio of inspiring design: proven experience delivering highly visual layouts that synthesise complex information beautifully and cleanly
• Speed, agility and decisiveness: the ability to work efficiently within a 3-day week, making confident design decisions and implementing editorial feedback rapidly
• Flawless attention to detail: ensuring final resources are completely error-free
• A deeply collaborative spirit: you love brainstorming, co-creating and working side-by-side with content writers to elevate concepts
• Technical mastery: highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) as well as PowerPoint and Google Slides. Comfort using or upskilling in tools like Canva and Vimeo is a plus.

Experience

You have...

• A degree in graphic design, illustration, visual communication or a related discipline – or equivalent professional portfolio experience
• Mid-weight industry experience working in-house, within an agency or as an established freelancer
• Extensive experience designing multi-page documents, slide decks or interactive educational/informational assets

Working across Bath & Wells, Bristol, Exeter, Salisbury and Truro, this role offers a rare platform to influence at scale. The successful candidate will lead a region-wide programme of digital transformation and process optimisation, helping modernise systems, strengthen cyber resilience and unlock efficiencies that release resources for mission and ministry.

This is not technology for its own sake. We are looking for someone who combines strategic insight with practical delivery; a leader who can translate complex technical possibilities into real-world improvements for staff, clergy and volunteers. You will play a key role in shaping the responsible adoption of emerging technologies, including AI, while ensuring strong governance, security and compliance.

Please note that, whilst the role will be primarily home-based, the post-holder will be required to travel regularly across the Southwest region, with an onsite presence in each organisation at least once per month.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

Stakeholder Management & Engagement:

Qualifications, Training & Experience:

• Proven and extensive senior technology leadership experience (e.g., CTO, Head of IT, Director of Digital Transformation) with clear evidence of strategic impact.

• Strong track record in business process mapping, analysis and re-engineering delivering measurable efficiency gains.

About the role

We’re looking for a highly strategic Director of Policy with deep experience of influencing policy and political decision-making to lead WWF-UK’s policy development and influence at a critical moment for climate and nature.

This is a senior leadership role at the heart of WWF-UK’s strategy and impact. Working across advocacy, conservation, science, in the UK and internationally, you will shape and drive a small number of high-impact policy priorities capable of unlocking meaningful change across systems including food, finance, trade and land use.

You will lead a high-performing Policy team, strengthening WWF-UK’s ability to respond quickly and credibly to political opportunities with deliverable solutions. This is a role for someone who combines deep policy expertise with sharp political judgement, trusted relationship-building and the ability to influence both behind the scenes and at the highest levels externally.

You will manage a complex ER caseload while leading on implementing recommendations from a recent ER audit. Working in a small People Service team supporting around 260 staff, you will update key policies, improve the quality and consistency of casework, and enhance reporting and documentation. This role is focused on strengthening processes and compliance during a time of team change, bringing clarity, structure and confidence to ER delivery.

You have strong experience managing a broad range of ER casework, including complex and sensitive investigations. You are confident handling high-risk issues, including potential discrimination cases, with sound judgement and a fair, balanced approach. You are highly organised and process-driven, with experience updating policies and improving reporting and record-keeping.

A strong communicator, you build trust quickly and can coach and influence managers effectively. You bring a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset, act with integrity and discretion, and are committed to inclusion and employee wellbeing. CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) is expected.

OCD-UK is entering an exciting new chapter as we look ahead to the next phase of our growth. We want to develop, strengthen and future-proof our fundraising income – and that’s where you could come in as our new Fundraising Development Manager.  This is a unique opportunity to lead income generation at a pivotal moment for our charity and to shape how we fund our work in the years ahead, you will expand our ability to generate income from our community fundraisers. 

This will be a challenging but rewarding position within a small friendly and dynamic charity, with clear growth ambitions and a determination to make a real positive impact for children and adults affected by Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.

You will bring ambition, clarity, ideas and organisation to help generate fundraising income. You will lead on all aspects of fundraising for our mass participation event places, with a focus on our London Marathon places for 2027 and beyond. You will also help to develop new income campaign streams for the charity, including building and mobilising a network of fundraisers, to drive individual giving, sponsorship and fundraising activities.

In addition, you will also lead on preparing small grant bid-writing through persuasive communication with high-quality grant writing to unlock new opportunities to secure funding to help bring charity projects and ideas to life. 

This role isn’t just about processing fundraising applications and writing funding bids from behind a desk. It’s about being a visible, energetic advocate for the OCD-UK community.  You will champion our work as well as supporting other colleagues in their duties where your time allows.  

This job is all about working with the local third and public sector to engage with local people to create change. To make this happen, the role has three key bits to it:

• listening to what local people want (gathering the insights);
• building a vision for a ‘better way of doing things’ (planning to make change); and

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, innovative team player to join our Young People and Families Service. This role will be based in Scotland, in our Glasgow office. This role will also support service delivery across the UK.

As a Young People and Families Worker you will work with colleagues, partners, healthcare professionals, schools, volunteers, and - most importantly - young people and families to co-plan, deliver and evaluate a high quality, holistic support offer locally and nationally.

You will help young people living with arthritis to build their confidence, make friends and achieve their personal goals. This will be achieved by providing one-to-one support, linking young people and families to a community of peer support and working with volunteers to co-deliver self-management activities.

You'll also co-design an exciting programme of online and in-person events, youth voice opportunities and digital content. You will act as the bridge between young people, their families and professionals - especially in healthcare settings where you will play a unique role working collaboratively with multidisciplinary team partners to meet a range of needs. You will support young people during the pivotal transition from paediatric to adult services, making sure it is a time of empowerment and growth.

About Chapter One

Chapter One is a small but growing charity, working to ensure that every child has 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most. 

Our Early Literacy Intervention programme is based on a programme that works successfully in the USA and it provides daily, 1:1, 7 minute phonics sessions for children who are behind in phonics. Using a bespoke technology tool, a trained Early Reading Interventionist works individually with target children. 

We also have our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme which currently supports about 3,500 children a year. It pairs struggling five to seven-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who come from over 150 local and national businesses. The volunteer pledge is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.

About the role 

Working for 5 hours per day, 5 days a week (term-time only) at Thomas Buxton Primary School in Tower Hamlets, this role will involve delivering a programme of 1:1 focussed sessions for selected Reception and Year 1 children.  The ELI will be trained to use Chapter One’s specialised online tool designed to support learners who are at risk of falling behind with their phonics.

We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic individual who enjoys working with young children and who wants to make their mark in a fast-growing charity. We can offer training, a small friendly team and a chance to improve the lives of children facing disadvantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct an initial baseline assessment of selected target children in Reception and Year 1 to determine where further support is needed.

• Use Chapter One’s online tool to deliver differentiated, daily, 1:1, targeted, 7 minute phonics sessions to pupils using a systematic, synthetic approach.

• Use a variety of additional activities to reinforce phonics skills.

• Support children to use their secure phonics knowledge to read decodable books.

• Develop pupils’ phonics fluency and confidence in preparation for the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check, where applicable. 

• Document each session with a child, including the skills practised or mastered and a goal for the next session.

• Maintain and update daily pupil progress trackers, identifying phonics skills secured and areas requiring consolidation to inform future teaching. 

• Challenge pupils to reach each new goal and celebrate pupil success.

• Work closely and on an ongoing basis with classroom teachers, reading support staff and the school team to understand progression of the schools phonics teaching.

• Work closely with classroom teachers to establish tailored plans for each child.

• Provide school leaders with data and information on pupil progress.

• Gather feedback from school on progress of the programme and any implementation challenges, aiming to help Chapter One to continuously improve programme delivery.

• Collaborate with colleagues at Chapter One to further improve the ELI model, the online tool and programme delivery.

Qualifications Criteria

• Maths and English GCSE at Grade 5 or above.

• Right to work in the UK.
