The post holder will help to develop and ensure the effective delivery of the corporate and partnerships fundraising strategy to generate sustainable income from new and existing partnerships.

The role will help grow our portfolio of partnerships, working collaboratively to explore ideas and launch new initiatives to help us achieve our mission. The role plays an important part in helping us to meet our fundraising targets and increasing participation and engagement in our fundraising activities.

The Corporate Team at ARUK has just enjoyed a record-breaking year of fundraising by our corporate partners. We require a proactive and organised colleague to provide the team with vital administrative support. 

The successful candidate will support our partnerships with companies such as Dyson, The Perfume Shop, Cadbury, and Slimming World while building excellent relationships with supporters from within those organisations. This role will also support our new business team with their approaches to prospective companies. 

This is a 12-month fixed term contract, or on return of the substantive post holder, to cover a secondment period.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Team administrative support

· Provide general administrative support for all members of the team.

· Manage invites and room bookings for Corporate Team meetings.

· Ensure accurate recording keeping through the use of our CRM system.

· Be the main internal point of contact for the Corporate Team.

· Respond to incoming team enquires promptly and professionally.

· Ensure accurate financial records are kept, by reconciling gifts across multiple donation platforms.

· Fundraising stock management and distribution.

· Assisting the team with event planning, including sourcing pricing quotes, raising purchase orders and booking equipment and ordering merchandise.

· Update the team intranet and website pages. 

· Post from the Partnership Development team Twitter accounts, monitor LinkedIn for activity by our partners and flag to appropriate team member. 

· Update internal group email distribution lists as required.

Securing new partnerships

· Fundraising data management: adding new companies and prospects to ensure accurate records of approaches made by the team. 

· Monitor supporter information on the database to generate new leads for the team.

· Generating reports for the New Business team and maintaining accurate records.

· Provide ad hoc support in the lead-up to high-value pitches and applications e.g. prepare materials, book couriers etc. 

Supporting our existing partnerships

· Provide a first-class stewardship journey for fundraisers from companies that are supporting the charity. Including making sure they have the materials and resources required to fundraise – preparing and sending information packs, wishing them good luck, drafting letters, and sending thank you messages.

· Work closely with the Central Fundraising Team to ensure a consistent stewardship journey across all audiences. 

· Manage online giving pages and our CRM system to make sure corporate supporters are identified and recorded correctly, and their income potential is maximised.

· Monitor the CRM system to make sure that all information about our corporate fundraisers is recorded correctly.

· Filter enquiries from our corporate supporters whilst the Partnership Development Officers are on annual leave to ensure a timely and helpful response. 

· Help support event delivery by sourcing volunteers, merchandise, and gifts in kind for events.

· Keep the Partnership Development Officers and Team Managers up to date on feedback from supporters. 

· Communicate key fundraising products and communications designed for our Corporate supporters with the Regional team. 

· Develop new fundraising idea packs to engage our Corporate supporters and seek appropriate sign off.

Working with others

· Work with our merchandising team for the development and production of event materials as required.

· Liaise with our distribution centre to organise mass mailings of materials needed for pitches and large partnership launches and events.

· Represent the Corporate Partnerships team on working groups for internal projects to ensure the team’s needs are met.

· Work closely with our Supporter Care Team, Central Fundraising Team and Insight & Development teams to make sure that the Corporate Partnership team is following processes correctly and is adopting improved practices where possible. 

What we are looking for:

· Confidence working with computers and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Experience using databases.

· Experience working in a customer/client facing position.

· Demonstrable administrative experience or relevant transferable skills.

· Experience of building and managing relationships with colleagues.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to prioritise and effectively manage multiple tasks.

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals.  This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

You will have an understanding of developing business plans and developing financial models. You will enjoy applying your business skills to complex issues and explaining these in plain and accessible language. You will have excellent facilitation, training and coaching skills and passionate about supporting others to develop their knowledge and skills while being open to learning and able to quickly pick up new skills.

Job Title: Partnership Development Manager

Salary: £34,500.

The latest research suggesting that the number of children and young people at risk of hunger has rocketed to three million means that one in five children don't have enough to eat.   

When a child is too hungry to learn, when they’re aching for something to eat, they can’t concentrate. They can’t absorb information. Big feelings and worries can be impossible to control. They fall behind in their studies.  

Magic Breakfast provide a nutritious and filling breakfast to over 200,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target the children most in need without barrier or stigma.   

Magic Breakfast are ambitious to grow our impact in order to remove hunger as a barrier to learning for all children and young people in the UK. To do this, we need to continue to grow our fundraised income, of which new corporate income is a significant element.

JOB INFORMATION

We are seeking candidates who are after the next step in their fundraising journey. You will already have strong credentials and be ready to start your journey into Partnership Management which will include leading in delivering the new business plan and working closely with colleagues in the Partnership Development team and across the organisation to identify, create and secure new strategic, multi-year corporate partnerships

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Building a pipeline that reflects Magic Breakfast’s restricted and unrestricted funding needs, including Gift in Kind requirements, working with the Partnership Research Executive to research and identify prospects with potential.  
• Making use of multiple tactics to secure meetings with prospects including, for example, cold calling, emailing, running events, event networking and social selling on platforms like LinkedIn.
• Ensuring that risk-screening and due diligence processes have been completed in line with Magic Breakfast’s Ethical Fundraising and Due Diligence policies. 
• Understanding each prospect’s strategic interests through meetings, discussions and research and defining the mutual advantage in partnership. 
• Developing and delivering engaging, relevant and impactful pitches and written proposals to prospective partners.

We are searching for a new strategic leader at Bloody Good Period. The Head of Communications and Campaigns will play a pivotal and strategic role in delivering creative and effective campaigns and comms that align with our wider influencing work, maximising opportunities to influence change as we approach a General Election, and beyond. 

Bloody Good Period’s brand and communications have had huge traction and influence in the last few years. Chief Executive Officer, Remote, 35 hrs Salary £90,097

GFS is a feminist organisation with a mission to empower girls and young women in England and Wales to live their best lives. Girls as young as 6 tell us that they cannot be themselves. This causes problems for them and society. So, we offer an early intervention service for girls living in areas of deprivation to have the greatest impact.

This is an exciting role with an opportunity to lead the charity into the 150th Year of delivery and with a new strategy to address need. It will involve working with the leadership team and all departments but also the board and their support committees, the ambassadors, and presidents as well as the wonderful team of volunteers across England and Wales.

A great deal has been done to prepare the organisation for such an important time and so now there is a real opportunity for this role to lead in being a figurehead for the charity and representing all that is achieved at GFS in national events and discussions, to best represent the girls of today.

We’re a small charity that brings communities together to create cleaner, connected and safer urban and rural neighbourhoods by tackling the litter problems where they live. Litter-picking brings people closer together, enables neighbours to meet one another other and helps create a greater sense of pride and community in local areas.

Historically, we have delivered litter-picking focussed community engagement projects in London and Birmingham. Our current focus is developing partnerships with community organisations across England to expand our reach and increase impact.

By joining Scottish Huntington’s Association (SHA) as a Community and Events Fundraising Officer you can play a full and active role in securing income to improve the lives of families impacted by Huntington’s disease.

Scottish Huntington’s Association is the only charity in the country exclusively dedicated to providing expert and personalised support for those impacted by Huntington’s disease when they need it, regardless of where they live.

Organised, motivated and a confident communicator, you’ll be responsible for driving income and building relationships throughout the East Coast of Scotland, to ensure we have the funds needed to deliver our specialist services for every family impacted by this devastating disease. We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds including (but not limited to) account management, marketing, fundraising, event management, or sales, and candidates who are based in any of the following areas: Aberdeenshire, Dundee and Angus, Edinburgh and the Lothians, Fife or Perthshire. 

From supporter stewardship, event management, delivering inspiring presentations, and managing volunteers, no week will be the same. The Community and Events Fundraising Officer (East Coast of Scotland) will be joining a hard-working and talented fundraising team, working closely with our Senior Community, Event & Individual Giving Fundraising Officer, Community and Events Fundraising Officer (West Coast of Scotland), our SHA Communications team, as well as the wider SHA team.

We are looking for an engaging, passionate and tenacious person who can deliver strong, cost effective and sustainable income growth for the charity, along with good copy writing, admin and organisational skills, experienced at developing relationships, and can manage a busy and varied workload. This is a chance for you to channel your varied skills, qualities, and passion for relationship building to improve the lives of families impacted by Huntington’s disease in Scotland.

You will work from home with periodic travel throughout the East Coast of Scotland. There will also be occasional travel required for organisation-wide meetings.

This role will require occasional weekend and evening working for which time off in lieu will be agreed.

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer benefits including flexible working practices, and a generous leave allowance totalling 37 days (25 days Annual leave and 12 days public holidays). Upon 5 completed years of service, you will receive an extra day for each completed year up to a maximum of 5 days, and the the opportunity to opt into our competitive pension scheme.

This is an exciting time for the charity, now in the second year of Standing Tall: A Strategy For Growth 2023 - 2028 to transform the care and support of Huntington’s families, expand specialist services and deepen involvement in research and clinical trials.

The NFCC is seeking to grow and diversify its income so we can be more sustainable into the future, better equipped to deliver against our charitable objects. 

To support this mission, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive our new commercial strategy and increase our income from business and commercial activity.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic, forward thinking, team player with a ‘can do’ attitude and a real passion to deliver as part of an expanding team with ambitious growth plans.

You will have significant experience in business development and / or income generation with a proven track record of generating income and meeting targets with strong commercial awareness.

You will have excellent communication and engagement skills, with the ability to work with a wide range of senior stakeholders including members, potential members, Charity Trustees, commercial suppliers and more widely.

You will be confident in managing, inspiring and engaging with both external and internal stakeholders and be a flexible and committed team player.

What you will be doing: 

Main Role Responsibilities

• To work with the Head of Commercial and Events on the development of the commercial strategy with the support of Trustees, the senior leadership team, members and other staff and stakeholders as necessary. 
• To be responsible for identifying and delivering key income streams, as outlined in the commercial strategy to meet agreed financial targets and KPIs.
• To manage existing and develop new relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfactions whilst achieving and maximising income opportunities. 
• Measure and evaluate the success of the commercial strategy business development and income generation workstreams.
• To represent the NFCC to corporate audiences and at corporate events, delivering pitches and presentations.
• To continually be researching new business opportunities for specific target markets. 
• To develop new corporate partnerships through relationship building.
• To be responsible for the account management of appropriate partnerships and provide the highest level of relationship management.
• Preparation of reports, briefing papers and other information on various matters, when required.to the senior management team and Trustees including liaison with senior members and officers across the National Fire Chiefs Council, other relevant staff across Fire and Rescue Services.
• Act as liaison and first point of contact for commercial enquiries into the NFCC and  dealing with them as appropriate. Enquiries may be from within the organisation, other fire and rescue services or elsewhere. 
• To create and assist in the drafting of timely and well-informed reports, business cases and provide advice regarding commercial developments.
• Develop an effective network with Fire and Rescue Service sector groups and other internal and external stakeholders. 
• Establish and maintain management processes and systems that provide for clear and understandable management information.

• You’re great at getting brands and high-value donors on board with causes like ours, and an instinct for how to communicate and build starter brands like us.

• Have a track record in working in a growth and development role (minimum 3 years), and have a strong record of securing key partnerships and generating large income streams/donations.

Basic Salary £40k-£42k pro rata (based on experience), plus commission.
