About Menphys

Menphys supports disabled children, young people and their families across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Our fundraising helps create opportunities, strengthen services and build long-term support from the communities and organisations around us.

We are looking for an energetic Fundraiser who can bring their own strengths to a collaborative team. Our fundraising spans community fundraising, events, corporate partnerships, individual giving, trusts, supporter stewardship and communications. We do not expect one person to specialise in everything. We want to understand where you are strongest, where you want to develop and how you can contribute to the team.

Purpose of the role

To help Menphys grow sustainable income and long term supporter relationships as part of a flexible fundraising team. The role will be shaped around the successful candidate's strengths, with opportunities to contribute across community fundraising, events, partnerships, individual giving, trusts, stewardship and campaigns.

• The role will involve external meetings, events and community activity depending on the areas you take ownership of.
• Evening and weekend work is required.
• Appointment will be subject to eligibility to work in the UK and any safeguarding checks appropriate to the role.
