Job Description  

The Partnership Officer will be a key member of The Hygiene Bank’s income generation team and wider central team, with a responsibility to help meet the needs of our existing partnerships and support in fulfilling the charity’s income generation plans and strategy. 

Key Responsibilities 

You will support the management of our brand and corporate partners, working with the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships. Your role will be to develop and deliver partnership strategies and stewardship plans for each account, to deliver against our objectives and meet income targets. 

• Work closely with the Head of Brands and Corporate Partnerships and to ensure the collaborative transition of new partners into account management, liaise with (Brand Coordinator/ Product Donation Manager) and Head of Fundraising, Communications and External Awareness and Head of Operations. 

• Identify and outreach to target brands and corporate partners, working to engage their support for the charity

• Accurately forecast and manage expenditures for our partners, working with the Head of Brand and Corporate partnerships to create mitigation plans when necessary. 

• Meticulous record keeping, ensuring the pipeline and the opportunity database are current and up to date.  

• Contribute to the organisation and team's annual plans, strategies, and budgets. 

• Develop, monitor, and maintain systems and processes including Smartsheets and account management plans. 

• Assist with the creation of marketing materials, such as newsletters, brochures, and partner impact reports.

• Understand and support the vision, mission, and values of The Hygiene Bank. 

• Reflect our inclusive culture in your day-to-day work and support a values-led, positive, health & safety and safeguarding culture in your interactions with colleagues and the volunteers.

You will be working within a strengths and recovery framework embedded within a trauma informed approach to meet the varying needs of young people experiencing a multitude of varying needs including offending behaviour and complex mental health. You will have responsibility of housing management and will work within the management team and internal SHP Central teams to ensure the service are delivered to the highest standard.

• Experience managing staff working across multiple sites. 

• Experience managing accommodation based services with a variety of tenure and a knowledge of housing management and health and safety.

About the role

Smart Works exists to empower all women who need help getting into work. We are currently in a significant growth phase, doubling the number of women we support to 10,000 women a year by 2025. As such, we require vital cornerstone funding and are seeking to establish a Major Gifts function, to secure donations from high-net worth individuals, that will enable us to achieve our mission and help thousands of women to transform their lives.

This is an exciting new role that provides an opportunity to build a new major gifts programme from scratch. Supported by the Director of Partnerships, you will work closely with the CEO, Board, and our network of 750 volunteers, to develop a giving strategy that will engage and grow a new pool of crucial supporters for Smart Works.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing major donors, as well as conducting prospect research, developing bespoke stewardship materials, and securing five-figure and six-figure repeat gifts.

We seek an excellent communicator, with significant experience in influencing, negotiating and exceeding set targets. Creativity, an understanding of women’s fashion, and knowledge of wealth circles would also be advantageous.

The Fundraising and Partnerships team are based in London. Duties and responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, the successful candidate will:

• Lead the development and delivery of a giving programme, building a pipeline and carrying out proactive prospect research
• Secure five-figure and six-figure multi-year gifts from major donors, to exceed income targets
• Research and identify prospective major donors who could support Smart Works, through existing warm networks and via outreach to cold audiences
• Work collaboratively across teams and functions to produce creative and compelling propositions and materials to secure both core and restricted funding
• Represent Smart Works to a diverse range of stakeholders and audiences to generate income and raise brand awareness
• Develop cultivation events considering regional hotspots
• Acknowledge, thank and recognize donors appropriate to their level of support and ensure restricted gifts are appropriately allocated
• Manage donor database and reporting
• Support Smart Works’ local centres across the UK and share learnings and guidance to help others build their Major Gifts potential

Skills, knowledge and personal attributes

Essential Criteria

• A track record of cultivating strong and positive relationships with multiple, senior and high-net worth individuals
• Demonstrable experience of making the ask, and an ability to support senior staff, volunteers and trustees to do so
• Interpersonal verbal communication and presentation skills, in order to foster strong relationships with donors and networks alike
• Target driven with excellent organisation and time management capabilities, demonstrating an ability to prioritise and work to deadlines

Now we’re looking for a confident, creative, and proactive Development Manager to join our small but dynamic Kingston CF family and develop and manage our fundraising development programme for both corporate and individual giving.  This role is the perfect fit for someone with entrepreneurial flair looking to make a real difference - both by helping to raise money for the Foundation’s vital work, and by ensuring our supporters feel valued and supported.

You’ll have innovative ideas to help us to secure new partnerships and nurture new and existing relationships to mobilise local giving. As an experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of securing major gifts or corporate partnerships at the four figure level, you’ll have a can-do attitude and a capability for developing strong networks and contacts.

You will be outcome orientated and a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills too.

Experience

• At least three years of proven successful experience in major gifts or corporate partnerships fundraising of four figures or more.
• Proven ability to manage and develop diverse relationships.

• Experience in writing and delivering persuasive copy for supporters.
• Thorough understanding of data protection and, specifically, UK GDPR requirements pertaining to fundraising and sponsorship work.

Stepping Stones exists to improve the lives of adults with learning disabilities. We are seeking an enthusiastic and agile manager who will be at the heart of the organisation and will lead a small team of qualified tutors and volunteers in continuing to provide high quality experiences for the people who attend. Stepping Stones is a community that loves to socialise and learn new skills together. Our current programme includes art, dance, drama and music, together with digital skills and cooking.

This role is responsible for strategic development with the guidance of the Board of Trustees, income generation, and the management of all aspects of service delivery. It is our intention to appoint a new post of Activity Co-ordinator to support the Charity Manager as budgets allow. You will play an active part in designing this role so that it enhances our delivery and increases capacity within the organisation.

Our experience during the pandemic and consequently, has shown us that being together in real life is an essential element of our offer to the people who attend Stepping Stones and so this post requires a physical presence preferably 3 days per week during the period when classes are running (30 weeks per year).  We are open in our approach to recruitment and are keen to support the right candidate to flourish. Stepping Stones is a thriving, longstanding and highly valued community organisation. We have delivered activities for over 30 years and our weekly classes are an important part of the lives of people who attend.

Our main delivery is a timetable of up to 14 weekly classes from our base in a multipurpose community centre. We also have activities off site including gardening at a local allotment and music and art classes at a day centre and residential home. Each week over 100 people benefit from our activities.

As our Institutional Partnerships Manager, you will:

• Proactively seek and secure high value funding from trusts and institutional donors worth over £1m per annum.

About You

To be our Institutional Partnerships Manager, you will likely have:

• Over 6 years’ experience of securing and managing grants valued at over £500,000 from institutional donors.

• At least 6 years’ experience of working with institutional donors such as the FCDO, EC, USAID, US State Department, Multi-laterals, and trusts and foundations, in a fundraising and/or programme capacity.

• Experience of delivering ambitious income targets and comfortable working in a performance

• management culture.

• Excellent research skills and market knowledge of leading funding organisations.

• Fluent in English (verbal and written) and excellent writing skills.

• Over 6 years’ experience working in an international development organisation.

• Proficient IT skills, more specifically Excel.

Employer partnerships at Unifrog

We’re increasing growth through providing unique tailored partnerships for employers; ranging from partnerships that centre around a virtual course to support students in developing their skills (while increasing brand awareness), to partnering with Unifrog schools in areas of high levels of disadvantage via our school sponsorship programme, which brings outstanding careers guidance and networking opportunities with employers and universities to the students, schools and parents/carers who need it most.

The role and your key responsibilities

As Employer Partnerships Manager, your role is to grow our employer partner numbers and support our existing employer partners to get the most out of their partnership with us. A fundamental element of our work with employers is to make sure they’re adding genuine value to our student and teacher community. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Make sales to employers

Working with our New Business Lead and the wider Employer team, you’ll secure and conduct meetings with employers in which you’ll listen to their needs, communicate our mission to them, demonstrate our offering and seek to secure their ongoing subscription.

• Maintain excellent relationships with existing partners and secure their subscriptions

You’ll onboard new partners, conduct regular check-in calls and consultatively support our employer partners to make the most of their partnership with us. It’s crucial that you maintain a sky-high resubscription rate.

• Delivering our existing services for partner employers

As the partnerships manager for your employers, you would be responsible for delivering on the different aspects of the partnership, including:

• Matching campaigns

Support your partners to identify events and opportunities they’re running that will be of interest to students using Unifrog, and work with our Employer Engagement Coordinator to add them to our system.

• Webinars, online fairs and in-person events

These events are another way for our partner employers to interact with our community of students and teachers. From virtual careers fairs, skill development webinars to in-person insights days, we strive for all our events to be useful, impactful and enjoyable for everyone taking part.

• Help develop new ways for our employer partners to add and receive value

The employer offering is continually evolving, and we’re keen to keep adding more ways in which we can add value for students and teachers using the Unifrog platform, and value to our employer partners as well. At Unifrog, we innovate quickly, and it’s everyone’s job to be creative. We want you to play your part in coming up with new services we can deliver which add value to all parties.

Whether it’s marketing collateral or an email to a partner organisation, it’s important you have the skills and discipline to carefully check our employer focused content and communications.

• Proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in

You need to be excited about going beyond the core responsibilities detailed above to improve what we do and make it a success.

• Data analysis

You will be expected to organise and interpret data to help employer partners make decisions about their partnership which will lead to securing new business and renewals. You need to be confident using google sheets, excel and powerpoint to create easy to understand visual representations.

• Relevant experience

We are more interested in people’s attitude and ability than their work history, but previous experience in Early Talent, Apprenticeships, Diversity and Inclusion or the Education sector would be an advantage.

The Upper Room (TUR) works with a wide range of financially and socially disadvantaged groups including homeless people, people with long-term mental health conditions, asylum-seekers, refugees and ex-offenders – helping them to improve their lives and become productive members of society. Central to our offering is our UR4Meals service, providing free, home-cooked food to people who cannot afford to provide for themselves. We are also very proud of our UR4Driving programme, which supports people recently out of prison with free driving lessons in exchange for community volunteering. Gaining a driving licence greatly enhances their future employability prospects and helps break the cycle of re-offending. Additionally, our UR4Jobs project focusses on both client wellbeing and breaking down the many barriers to employment faced by disadvantaged people every day.

The role

Is an exciting new edition to the TUR team, created to capitalise on the fact that the number of businesses in our catchment area is 45000+, but we’re not trying to talk to all of them, just target a few – ideally by gaining referrals and recommendations. So the job is to proactively find those local businesses happy to talk to us, understand what they might be looking for by partnering with a charity, share our brilliant story along with the business case (which is strong) for them to get involved with us in some way. We have made an excellent start, we already have a small number of great corporate partners, and this job is about taking it all on to the next level. As you would expect the role is about creating contacts, networking, maximising the face-to-face time with prospective partners and where possible gaining referrals. About You

You live within - or know well, West/Central London, you probably need a job with some working flexibility and want to have genuine belief in the product or service you’re talking about. The purpose of the role

The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for delivering, renewing and evolving new and existing high-value, long-term corporate partnerships. • Proven track record of securing income and managing partnerships/sponsorships, possibly gained within a target driven environment.

About the role

As The National Partnership Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development function for Scotland. You will manage a team of embedded Senior Project Officers working within the partner national organisations and delivering in partnership with a broad range of local stakeholders to develop and deliver local Active Travel Strategies, Visions and Plans.

You should have line management experience and substantial experience of project management, including budget management.

You must have the ability to communicate authoritatively and persuasively to a range of audiences, with demonstrable experience of remote and face-to-face partnership development techniques.
