The postholder will play a key role in advancing the communications, campaigns and public affairs work of Southall Black Sisters (SBS), strengthening the organisation’s public profile and amplifying its mission to end violence against women and girls (VAWG), particularly as it affects Black, minoritised and migrant women.

The role will support the development and delivery of strategic communications and campaigns that promote SBS’s services, policy priorities and advocacy work, with particular attention to immigration and no recourse to public funds (NRPF). Working collaboratively with SBS colleagues, project partners and, where appropriate, victim-survivors, the postholder will help ensure SBS’s communications are impactful, ethical and grounded in lived experience.

Through creative and strategic use of digital, media and public-facing platforms, the postholder will contribute to raising awareness, influencing public discourse and strengthening protections and rights for Black, minoritised and migrant victim-survivors.

About the role

As District Coordinator, you will lead the effective implementation of the Comprehensive and Accessible Eye Health – Bangladesh project at the district level. You will coordinate with partners, including organisations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), hospitals, and community stakeholders, to ensure project deliverables are achieved. The role involves monitoring, documentation, reporting, and capacity building, while maintaining compliance with donor and organisational standards. You will also support planning, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement to deliver inclusive eye health services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with hospital partners, inclusion partners, and OPDs to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
• Support partners in planning, monitoring, record keeping, and quality assurance of project activities.
• Assist in organising capacity development activities for community health workers and factory staff.
• Monitor project progress, compliance with partnership agreements, and adherence to donor requirements.
• Track project expenditure, analyse budget variances, and report findings to the line manager.
• Conduct monitoring visits, review performance targets, and support partners in addressing underperformance.
• Prepare and submit accurate project reports, ensuring deadlines and donor compliance are met.
• Facilitate coordination with local stakeholders, schools, and disability rights committees to promote inclusive eye health.
• Support capacity building for OPDs, partner hospitals, and field teams in eye care and disability inclusion.

Essential

• Master’s degree in social science, Development Studies, Public Health, Economics, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience working in health or eye care programmes within NGOs/INGOs or similar organisations.
• Knowledge of project cycle management and experience managing CSR-funded projects.

Desirable

• Ability to understand and work with project budgets, forecasts, and reports.
• Experience in training needs assessment and facilitation.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla.
• Strong negotiation and motivational skills.
• Valid motorcycle driving licence.
• Proficiency in basic computer operations; Bangla typing skills an advantage.

As Finance Officer (Payments and Payroll), you will support the Finance team in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations across the organisation. The role focuses on managing payments, maintaining financial records, and supporting payroll for our Brussels and US offices as well as regular consultants. Data Analysis, Systems and Reporting

• Develop and maintain robust and accurate data systems and monitoring processes, ensuring compliant archiving to support data integrity.

• Lead the preparation, quality assurance and secure management of Alexandra Rose’s programme data, ensuring it is accurate, consistent and compliant with GDPR and data sharing requirements.

Essential Qualifications and Skills 

• Demonstrable experience in data analysis within the charity, public health, or social care sectors (comparable private sector experience will also be considered).

• Experience using CRM systems and data visualisation tools (e.g., Salesforce, Socialsuite) to support monitoring, reporting and organisational insight.

• Proven ability to handle and analyse large datasets, including creating clear charts, dashboards and performance outputs in Excel or similar tools.

You will be an enthusiastic person with an eye for detail and the ability to plan, manage and deliver our community events programme. This role will work at the heart of a passionate team, who deliver support and information to people living with type 1 diabetes throughout their type 1 journey. Events are a key opportunity to connect those living with the condition and to share what Breakthrough T1Doffers. 

With experience in delivering events, you may have worked for charities before in similar roles. Your role will be to oversee the planning and delivery of our community events, including on-the-day logistics in person and virtually. You will also develop post-event follow-up with participants and strategically evaluate our community events programme, working with the Community Partnerships and Events Lead. There will be opportunities to represent Breakthrough T1D , network and exhibit at external events and develop creative plans and strategy for future events, to support Breakthrough T1D’s ’s aims and mission. 

Experience required 

You’ll have previous experience of: 

• Planning, delivering and evaluating successful community events

• Facilitating virtual events via Zoom or similar online platforms 

• Representing an organisation through networking or exhibiting at conferences, community events and other similar functions

We’re looking for someone to help shape and deliver a public engagement and events programme that showcases Headway East London’s occupational projects in art, food and music, strengthens partnerships, and raises awareness of brain injury.

The role is to work closely with our members, you will co-produce events, workshops and creative projects that highlight their experiences and talents. Also, nurture and develop relationships with partners and stakeholders, identify new opportunities for collaboration and ensure members are meaningfully involved in all aspects of engagement.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Public Engagement Programme Delivery

• Support the delivery of a public engagement programme that raises awareness of brain injury and showcase our creative work in art, food, and music.
• Work closely with the Director of Development and staff teams to identify and develop opportunities for public engagement (e.g. exhibitions, performances, and community events).

​Member Co-production and Creative Participation

• Work closely with members to support their participation in projects and events, ensuring their voices and experiences contribute to the planning and delivery.
• Support in facilitating steering groups or member planning sessions to shape ideas and gather feedback for improvements.

Partnerships and External Relationships

• Support in building and maintaining positive relationships with local organisations, cultural venues, and community partners to broaden our reach and profile.
• Represent Headway East London at events, meetings and community forums, acting as a positive ambassador for the organisation and its members.

 Event, Operations and Delivery

• Support all logistical aspects of events, including venue booking, liaising with suppliers, organising materials, and coordinating volunteers.
• Contribute to event promotion and audience engagement, including managing guest lists, ticketing, and attendee communications.

Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting

• Support the collection of feedback, stories, and data from events and projects to evaluate their success and impact.
• Support with monitoring and reporting processes that inform fundraising, communications, and project planning.

About the Role

Working as part of the regional NZC consortium, you will:

· Develop and deliver a strategic approach to fundraising across the four dioceses.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with grant-making bodies, diocesan teams, parish leaders and regional NZC partners.

· Research funding opportunities and share them across dioceses and parishes.

· Support diocesan staff to build a fundable project pipeline and respond quickly to grant deadlines.

Essential Skills & Experience

· Experience building strong relationships with decision-makers in grant-making organisations.

· Strong communication skills—confident writing, presenting and delivering training.

· Skilled at working collaboratively across diverse organisations and church contexts.

· IT-competent, diplomatic, and able to work with discretion and confidentiality.

· Experience working in the church, heritage or environmental sectors.

This is a newly created role based with our growing Marketing Team. The Services Marketing Officer leads the planning and delivery of wellbeing marketing in support of key organisational objectives: recruiting high-quality welfare volunteers, attracting new service users, increasing uptake of welfare and welbeing services and raising the  RAF Association’s profile. The role champions innovation in marketing, exploring new channels, ideas, and technologies to enhance engagement and service delivery. Reporting to the Head of Services Marketing, the Services Marketing Officer serves as the main contact for wellbeing marketing and collaborates with agencies, suppliers, and internal teams. They will also contribute to broader organisational marketing and engagement initiatives as needed. Primary responsibilities include 

• Lead the delivery of integrated wellbeing marketing campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and compliance. 

• Plan and execute person-centred, multi-channel campaigns to recruit volunteers and increase service uptake. 

• Act as the wellbeing marketing subject matter expert, advising on strategy and execution. 

• Collaborate with welfare teams to align marketing activity with service and recruitment priorities. 

• Manage day-to-day coordination with agencies and suppliers to maximise campaign impact. 

• Work with the Customer Engagement Team to enhance supporter experiences in line with the Engagement strategy. 

• Ensure welfare marketing aligns with broader organisational communications and fundraising plans. 

• Drive innovation by testing new tools, channels, and approaches to improve campaign performance and user experience. 

About You 

We need you to have a proven track record in delivering successful campaigns and appeals in a professional fundraising, marketing or communications role. Previous marketing experience within the wellbeing sector is highly desirable though not essential. With an understanding of audience segmentation and customer journeys, you will have the ability to translate the Associations work into engaging communications and marketing campaigns. Up to date computer literacy is essential for this role as you will need experience of using CRM systems (we use Salesforce) for customer management, analysis and reporting. If you are creative, proactive results-driven individual we would love to hear about what you can bring to the role!
