As a Support worker with The Hope Foundation, your primary responsibility will be providing ongoing support to our tenants and service users, while working with them through support plans and growth plans, towards independent living.
The post-holder will:

Provide support to tenants in line with project aims and goals, including but not limited to providing mentoring, advice, support plans, employment training, property searches, admin support and assistance with tenancy sustainability.

Oversee project volunteers, manage rotas, and provide project updates to partners.

Be a port of call for tenants regarding property maintenance queries and issues.

Duties and Responsibilities
(1) Client Support
• Working with tenants through their individual development plans.
• Provide encouragement, advice, and support to tenants.
• Assist tenants with housing benefit applications, job searches and training.
• Liaise with agencies on behalf of tenants.
• Assist tenants with tenancy maintenance and basic life skills support.
• Work with individuals seeking support through The Community Hope Project.
(2) Property Maintenance
• Organise maintenance work within The Hope Foundation properties.
• Provide tenants with assistance in operating equipment and information regarding Health and Safety.
• Report any property or furniture damage/issues.
(3) Administration
• Keep tenant development plans, pen portraits, logs, and personal information up to date.
• Provide general admin support to organisation

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Westway Trust as a Property Assistant, providing efficient and responsive administrative support across the full property team. You will be a friendly, motivated, and active administrator who will play a key role in the smooth running of the property department.
You will be pro-active, organised, with good initiative being the main point of contact responding to estate and property related enquiries and reports of issues, from tenants, customers, contractors and the community. You will therefore need to possess or demonstrate a willingness to provide a good level of customer service with property knowledge.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide efficient and effective administrative support across the Property team, including daily active filing, archiving, photocopying, scanning and record keeping.
- Initial point of contact for enquiries to the Property team.
- Provide a responsive customer service handling system to record such enquiries.
- Coordinating the general day-to-day activities of the Head of Property & Estates in relation to emails, posts, and voicemails.
- Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of property particulars, void reports, and reviewing property marketing websites for current information.
- Cross-referencing and managing the prospective tenant’s selection list with the historical enquiry list and alerting the team of any repeat/active enquiries.
- Regular visits to Trust premises to record any Health and Safety/Fire Risk Assessment breaches and reporting these to the appropriate Facilities Management team member.
- Assist with attending Unit Base Parking/Filming/Events on the estate, recording any infringements of agreements on site, and notifying the appropriate team member for further follow-on action.
- Preparing notification details for relevant authorities for entry and exit of tenants – rates, utilities, etc.
- Assisting with servicing property meetings (i.e., circulating papers, coordinating actions where required).
- Responsible for the recording of void premises and issuing of building keys.
- Occasionally provide assistance to the Trust’s reception/office manager for general office duties and reception cover if required.
Knowledge and Experience:
- A minimum of one year’s experience in a busy property department.
- A broad understanding of commercial property or demonstrable experience of transferable skills if you are from a different sector.
- Customer focused, with the ability to provide a friendly and efficient service to customers, staff and tenants.
- Good time management, attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure with changing priorities.
- Excellent administrative skills.
- High level IT skills and experience of using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Personal skills:
- A personable and collaborative approach, with experience of developing and maintaining positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Good communication skills, orally and in writing.

You'll lead on day-to-day responsibilities for property, health and safety and vehicle fleet regulatory and statutory compliance at St John's College and its residential settings.

- Where necessary, investigate and respond to enquiries, including account queries, this may include enquiries from contractors, suppliers and other third parties.
- Challenge where necessary, to ensure value for money and quality of service from suppliers.
- Manage meter move requests and arrange prompt payment whilst liaising with all involved parties.
- Take responsibility for the day to day processing of payments across the Business team to include all departmental accounting functions in relation to works orders, purchase and framework orders, credit notes and invoices across charity and administrative company accounts, with particular focus to void costs, within required timeframes and in line with Service Level Agreements.
- Produce data uploads for finance transactions, ensuring accuracy of data and sign off completed data.
- Working collaboratively alongside our Finance and Resources partners to ensure prompt payment and when required, investigate queries that arise.
- Escalate issues and problems to managers when necessary to ensure payments are made on time, thus avoiding late payment fees and charges.
- Where necessary, engage with suppliers, contractors and customers ensuring that information is clear, concise and understood to achieve resolution.
- Support the management of the legacy mortgage scheme, supporting the Business Services Team Leader and Business Administration Officer (Mortgages), providing clarity and support on a range of queries and tasks.
- Manage quinquennial inspections in line with stakeholder agreements, refunding customers and producing monthly update reports.
- Develop knowledge and skills on mortgage redemptions, working closely with solicitors and customers to progress and complete sales and redemptions promptly.
- To ensure that data held in QL / SAP is complete, accurate and reliable through regular assessment of data using analysis and cleansing where necessary and to take personal responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of data and recorded information across all business streams.
- Produce stakeholder reports, business reports and information to enable transparency across the business, in line with agreements and compliance.
- Data management and entry for key information relating to insurance revaluations, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure insurance values are periodically reviewed.

You will join a small team of housekeepers working mainly at our Community/Justice/ Counselling services. You will facilitate end of licence/tenancy cleaning preparing these spaces for new residents, or you could be asked to provide cleans between room hire in our counselling and our community spaces. Our growing In-House Maintenance Team is seeking an experienced, customer-focused supervisor to join us as a Repairs & Maintenance Supervisor in order to support the effective management of a multi-disciplined team of trade operatives, contractors and self-employed operatives.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supervise a team of Trade Operatives as they carry out responsive repairs and voids maintenance.
- Lead and motivate the team to and ensure a high standard of repairs are maintained in our homes.
- Complete post inspections of works to ensure everything is completed according to specification and is contractually compliant.
- Ensure work is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Our ideal candidate? Your application will demonstrate the following:
- A relevant qualification in a building related discipline or site management or equivalent knowledge as demonstrated through a track record of relevant work experience.
- Supervisory and team management experience
- Construction knowledge or experience, including Health & Safety legislation, fire safety, CDM Regulations
- Financial and budgetary control and void property management experience

The role will involve working across the company's existing properties and projects in and around London and the Home Counties. The Building Surveyor will report directly to the Senior Building Surveyor. The role will involve a mix of working from site, homeworking and 1-2 days in the office.

What you'll do:
* Technical condition surveys and reports on properties and their presentation to internal and external colleagues as required
* Designing, specifying and providing cost advice on any required maintenance, refurbishment, adaptation or development works
* Appointing and liaising with external contractors and consultants making sure work carried out is cost controlled and up to standard
* Pre, post and regular inspections and ensuring projects are delivered with quality and value for money
* Inspecting aspects of compliance making sure each project is aligned with company procedures and legislation
* Taking a lead on the Project Management of a variety of improvement/minor/major projects
* Work with external partners as technical lead ensuring the employer's requirements are understood and delivered
* Support Business Development/Operations with survey requests, making sure to clarify the brief before commencing each instruction

Role and Responsibilities
New Position: Due to the increase in REB memberships and activities, a new full-time events role is being created to support the executive team.
Key Tasks – support the MD in creating and delivering a member engagement and events programme
1. Conception and collaboration of member events, through to completion
2. Promoting events to members, working alongside REB’s external PR/Communications agency
3. Managing event registrations and guest lists
4. Responsible for line managing the events administrator
5. Responsible for REB events planning, logistics, analysis (report & presentation) and follow-up actions
6. Attending meetings with members re event planning and development
7. Reporting quarterly to the board and attending board meetings with the Executive team
Detailed Responsibilities
1. Develop, manage and deliver REB’s event programme (working with MD and ED&I coordinator):
o upload event listings to website;
o prepare invitations;
o liaise with host venues;
o oversee registrations & comms;
o obtain event feedback
2. Monitor and evaluate events including reviewing feedback and attendance
3. Coordinate the CEO Breakfasts series
4. Maintain the Events page on the REB website
5. Maintain a database of venues
6. Identify, approach and secure appropriate speakers and participants for events
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
