At Betknowmore UK, we work to prevent and reduce gambling-related harm through support, education, training and community engagement. As our Triage Team Manager, you'll lead the function that determines how quickly and safely people in crisis get the help they need.
We're looking for an experienced people manager to lead our triage team, overseeing referrals from first contact through to onboarding, ensuring every assessment is thorough, every risk is managed, and every service user is guided into the right support without delay.
Working closely with the Referral Leads and colleagues across the organisation, you'll drive continuous improvement of our triage processes, keep our data and CRM systems robust, and build strong relationships with partners so people never fall through the gaps.
What you'll be doing
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the triage function, ensuring referrals are processed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Managing and supporting a team of Referral Leads, providing supervision, guidance and performance oversight
- Overseeing service user onboarding, including assessment, safety management and safeguarding practice
- Monitoring waiting lists and service capacity, taking action to manage demand
- Overseeing our CRM system (Airtable), ensuring data accuracy, accessibility and integrity
- Producing monthly and quarterly reports, using data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Building operational relationships with delivery partners, and representing Betknowmore UK at MDTs, meetings and sector events
- Fostering a collaborative, psychologically safe team environment
What we're looking for
We're interested in hearing from candidates who have:
- Experience working in addiction, mental health or similar support services
- Experience comprehensively assessing risk and needs
- Experience managing or supervising staff and volunteers

Experience with gambling and gambling harm would be advantageous, as would a Level 3 Safeguarding qualification, experience improving service delivery processes, familiarity with CRM/data systems such as Airtable, and experience producing reports to inform decisions.

About this role

What you’ll do

About the role
This role will lead our agenda around the role of welfare to support the working age population to maintain good health and support people with long term health conditions or disability when they are unable to work or participate. The Commission for Healthier Working Lives identified a number of issues with welfare support which effectively disincentivise people from accessing and staying in work and the purpose of this role is to make the case for change and point to potential solutions.
The post holder will have a strong understanding of the current welfare agenda, and particularly what this means for people with long term health conditions and disability. Working with the Senior Fellow, you will identify the opportunities to shape better policy, providing decision makers with the evidence and clear recommendations. As well as conducting your own analysis, you will help commission policy research projects from internal and external experts and provide oversight for these projects.
Developing your own profile as an expert, you will also lead or support drafting of external outputs, speak at external events and grow and maintain external stakeholder relationships. About the role
Reporting in to the National Events Manager, the Events Fundraising Officer will recruit and engage supporters, building trust and collaboration to strengthen Christian Aid’s event and DIY fundraising activity and maximise participation in challenge events. Supporting the planning and delivery of impactful fundraising and stewardship initiatives, while working flexibly to contribute to wider team priorities and key fundraising moments.
The post-holder will develop meaningful communications with Christian Aid’s supporters, churches, and volunteers to maximise engagement and create consistent, high-quality experiences.
Some of the main areas of responsibility for the Events Fundraising Officer include:

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client in the search for a Community and Events Fundraising Manager.
The organisation is a national charity tackling financial insecurity and its structural causes. They support people facing financial hardship to access the resources and opportunities they need to thrive, while working to challenge stigma and change the systems that drive financial insecurity.
This is a full-time, permanent role paying a salary of c.£47,000 per annum. The postholder will be working in a hybrid model from their offices in London.
The Community and Events Fundraising Manager will be responsible for leading the development, delivery and iteration of a multi-year Community and Events fundraising strategy. With support and strategic oversight from the Head of Income Generation, you will be ensuring annual income, event participant and supporter engagement targets are met or exceeded.
The organisation are looking for candidates with experience of community and/or challenge events fundraising, with a track record of meeting or exceeding five-figure income targets and ideally six-figure targets. The ideal candidate will have strong project, budget and KPI management skills, including planning, reporting, prioritisation and evaluation.
