Job Title: Housing Support Worker
Location: Brent. This is a floating support service which means locations may vary from outreach sites, personal homes, and our office space. Please be kindly aware that although there is step free access available at our base office, we cannot guarantee step free access in the external locations which form as part of this role.
Salary: £28,800
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota between 08:00- 16.:00, 09:00 - 17:00, 10:00 - 18:00. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service and participant requirements.
About the Role
We're hiring a Housing Support Worker to join our team based in Brent. In this role, you will support participants who have been or are at risk of homelessness, experienced social exclusion, mental health challenges, substance use challenges, learning disabilities and/or may have previous convictions. You will support participants on their journey towards recovery, reablement, and independence within a compassionate and trauma informed environment.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of delivering high quality, person centered support through tailored support plans which provide practical interventions, to empower our participants to overcome personal challenges, develop life skills, and achieve their personal goals. You will also work closely in partnership with various organisations to support the different needs of our participants, which may include signposting. As the Recovery Worker, you will manage a caseload of individuals requiring early intervention and preventative mental health support, helping them improve their wellbeing and achieve positive outcomes. The Community Support Worker will provide direct, practical and person-centered support to mentees approaching release from prison and after release into the community. Housing Advice Worker
We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Housing Advice Worker to join our Domestic Abuse Social Care Service in Kent.
£27,976.00 per annum, working 40 hours per week on a 1 year FTC.
