Main Purpose Of Job:

This role is responsible for delivering a safe and supportive service to all residents living at our accommodation provision in Bicester. The role holder will lead on the case management of clients with low to medium support needs who are working towards living independently within twelve months. Working in partnership with other agencies the role holder will create holistic, individualised support plans, identifying and pro-actively working towards appropriate and timely move ons.

Main Areas Of Responsibility:

• To ensure the effective delivery of high quality care, resettlement support and housing management according to Homeless Oxfordshire policies and procedures.
• To be responsible for supporting and working with clients to achieve suitable move on and successful outcomes.
• To assess risk and suitability of referrals for the service.
• To be confident in lone working, connecting remotely with the wider Cherwell team daily and attending team meetings in Banbury once per week.
• Ensure support plans and risk management plans are documented and agreed with clients in line with procedures.
• Work with the Team Manager and colleagues to achieve agreed contractual performance targets and organisational targets and objectives.
• Report to the Team Manager any safeguarding concerns without delay in line with procedures.

About the role

The Community Link Worker will play a key role in supporting individuals who are economically inactive due to musculoskeletal issues and/or mental health needs, and with a desire to return to or get into work. The postholder will build strong relationships with local services, employment teams, health professionals and community organisations to enable clients to reintegrate into the workforce and improve their overall wellbeing.

This role requires flexibility to work across multiple community settings, including GP practices and outreach locations as part of a multidisciplinary team. As well as having a base at the Merton Connected office in Vestry Hall and potential opportunity to work from home.

In addition to National Lottery funding, The National Lottery Community Fund distributes funding through the Dormant Assets scheme. Dormant Assets funding in Northern Ireland supports community organisations to become more sustainable and resilient, strengthening areas such as governance, digital capability and organisational development.

Background on Dormant Assets NI

In addition to being a distributor of National Lottery funding, The National Lottery Community Fund distributes money released for social purpose as laid out in the Dormant Bank and Building Society Accounts Act 2008 and the Dormant Assets Act 2022.

This legislation enables funds from dormant bank accounts and other financial products to be channelled towards good causes in the United Kingdom through an independent body called the Reclaim Fund.

Funds are distributed to The National Lottery Community Fund, which in turn makes them available for good causes in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Each devolved administration issues policy directions on how these funds are to be used.

The policy directions issued by the Department of Finance in September 2019 directed The National Lottery Community Fund to establish Dormant Assets NI to build capacity, resilience and sustainability in the third sector across Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities

​Working within the Communications Strategy team, you’ll lead communications activity for Dormant Assets NI. You will focus on raising awareness of the programme, engaging with organisations and sector networks, and sharing learning and impact through a range of channels.

The role combines proactive communications, relationship building, and close working with Policy and Engagement colleagues to support meaningful engagement with the voluntary and community sector. Responsibilities will include:

• Working with the Communications team, lead on communications activity for Dormant Assets NI, including regular funding announcements and programme milestones, ensuring messages reach the right audiences through appropriate channels
• Building and maintaining relationships with sector bodies, networks and specialist media, working closely with colleagues across the organisation, including Policy and Engagement, to amplify awareness of Dormant Assets funding.
• Working closely with the Dormant Assets NI team and the NI Customer Engagement team on the planning and delivery of grant-holder and learning events (in-person and virtual).
• Working with the Fund’s media team, you will lead on announcements, handle dormant-assets-related press requests, and contribute to reactive communications where required.
• Developing impact-focused content, including case studies, newsletters, and web content to demonstrate programme outcomes and learning.
• Planning, writing and scheduling social media content to proactively promote Dormant Assets funding, impact and learning.
• Working directly with grant holders to gather stories of impact, quotes and visual content, including site visits to supported organisations.
• Liaising with the Department of Finance, Reclaim Fund and partners to support programme visibility, stakeholder communications, project visits and photo opportunities.
• Contributing to reporting and accountability requirements, including quarterly updates for the Reclaim Fund, reporting to the Department of Finance, and using internal systems and CMS tools to maintain accurate records and project summaries.

The role As Interim Senior Admin Officer, you will play a central role in ensuring the organisation runs smoothly, safely and compliantly. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director to help lead a multi-award-winning charity into its next phase of growth and impact.

Position: Director
Salary: £52,500 - £57,500
Location: Hybrid – at least 4 days per week in the office (N7), with regular travel to prison sites
Hours: Full-time

About the Role

The charity supports people serving prison sentences through creative music and peer-led employment programmes. Working closely with the existing Director and Board of Trustees, you will help shape and deliver the organisation's strategic vision while ensuring the successful delivery of programmes across multiple prison sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading strategic planning and organisational growth
• Developing and delivering fundraising and income generation strategies
• Securing grants, contracts and partnership opportunities
• Overseeing financial planning, budgeting and reporting
• Managing contracts and relationships with prison and sector partners
• Leading and supporting a dispersed team
• Acting as an ambassador for the organisation with funders and stakeholders

About You

You will be a strategic and hands-on leader with:

• Significant leadership experience within the charity, criminal justice or wider social impact sector.
• Experience as a senior leader, Director, CEO or member of a leadership team.
• A strong track record in fundraising, income generation and partnership development.
• Experience securing and managing contracts, organisational operations and financial oversight.
• Strong strategic, operational, and financial management skills.
• Experience leading and supporting dispersed teams in complex environments.
• A strong understanding of prisons, rehabilitation and the barriers faced by people within the criminal justice system or related sectors (homelessness, substance use, rehabilitation).
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinking combined with a practical, hands-on approach.
• A genuine commitment to social justice and belief in the transformative power of creativity, music and peer-led support.

Established in 2014, the charity delivers creative music and peer-led employment programmes in prisons across London, Kent, the Midlands and the North East. Play a key role in rebuilding a finance function

Join a non-profit membership organisation at a pivotal stage of transformation. This role sits within a developing the financial planning and analysis team and will support reporting, projects and process improvement while the function is being rebuilt.
 
The role

• Support the month-end process, including analysis, variance review and reporting outputs
• Deliver detailed financial analysis on projects and restricted funds, ensuring accuracy and clarity
• Prepare and support donor reporting, ensuring compliance with funding requirements
• Work closely with project managers and budget holders to review spend, challenge assumptions and improve financial understanding
• Investigate and support resolution of historical financial issues, balances and data inconsistencies
• Contribute to the setup and development of new processes, controls and reporting frameworks within FP&A
• Support the creation of meaningful management information, translating financial data into clear insights

About you

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; or studying for ACA, ACCA, CIMA equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis roles within a non - profit or public sector environment
• Previous roles may have included Assitant Finance Business Partner, Management/Project Accountant etc
• Experience in donor or restricted fund reporting
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting and management accounting exposure

Bid Development Lead

You’ll play a key part in our Business Development Department, supporting the Director of Business Development to write high-quality bids, manage re-tenders, develop business cases and drive new income opportunities. You’ll lead on Trusts and Grants Fundraising, build partnerships across the NHS and voluntary sector, work with other Local Mind Associations and help shape innovative service models for Birmingham Mind.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and support bid writing and tender applications (with a value up to £500k p.a.)

· Monitor tender portals for new opportunities and manage relationships with funders, commissioners, and partners in the voluntary sector

· Support income generation strategies for the charity, including fundraising and training as well as developing business cases for new projects

· Attend external events to grow partnership opportunities
