Useful information:

All part-time staff are expected to work in the London office on Tuesdays, with the flexibility to work from home or the office other days (flexible working arrangements are possible).

There are 25 days’ annual leave per annum (pro rata) with statutory holidays in addition (pro rata). A maximum of three further days holiday is given to all staff who would otherwise be working between Christmas and New Year.

Your Place is a supported housing service for individuals who have experienced homelessness and may be living with mental health challenges, substance misuse, or complex trauma.

The environment can at times be unpredictable, and properties may experience higher levels of wear and tear than typical residential settings. The ideal Maintenance Officer must be comfortable working in these environments and demonstrate patience, resilience, and a non-judgemental approach at all times.

• Design and develop the monitoring and evaluation approach to underpin delivery of our Network Impact Framework 

• Ensure outcomes and indicators align with the charity’s mission, strategic priorities and funder requirements. 

• Work closely with the Data Manager to ensure data collection processes, systems and outputs are robust, consistent and of high quality, ensuring data collection opportunities are maximised 

• Contribute to the development of our surveys, to ensure robust data is captured to evidence and inform strategic priorities against our impact model. 

• Embed impact measurement, insight and learning into organisational planning and decision making. 

• Identify and action external research opportunities and priorities, leading on relationships with external research bodies and managing ongoing research projects 

• Support the development and continuous improvement of data/impact dashboards to share insight and learnings across organisation 

Learning & Continuous Improvement 

• Develop and strengthen our approach to sharing learning internally, ensuring insight is used to drive continuous improvement and great decision making. 

• Strengthen and further develop Now Teach’s monitoring, evaluation and impact systems, ensuring they are proportionate, effective and used in practice. 

• Identify insights and trends that support continuous improvement and work collaboratively across teams to act on learning. 

• Support teams to test, refine and improve approaches based on evidence and evaluation findings. 

• Act as a business partner and internal consultant, supporting teams to interpret data, reflect on findings and apply learning to their work, producing key recommendations for particular teams on an agreed basis and facilitating next steps with relevant Directors. 

Strategic Reporting and Strengthening our case for support 

• Lead on the production of high‑quality impact reporting for a range of stakeholders, including trustees and funders, and responsible for the annual impact report. 

• Work closely with the Philanthropy and Communications teams to ensure impact evidence strengthens Now Teach’s narrative and case for support, and that we fulfil our impact measurement obligations to donors.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Philanthropy and Partnerships Coordinator support the development and progression of philanthropy and partnership activity across trusts & foundations, corporate partners, and high‑value philanthropic audiences in the UK. The role is focused on coordination, preparation, prospects research, and pipeline support, enabling effective relationship management and timely progression of opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and support a targeted portfolio of trusts & foundations, corporate, and philanthropic prospects, assisting with qualification, cultivation, and stewardship activity.
• Support the preparation and submission of trusts & foundations applications, including coordinating inputs, drafting supporting materials, and managing timelines and follow‑up.
• Support donor and partner engagement through effective briefing, scheduling, meeting preparation, follow‑up, and moves management.
• Act as a coordination point between UK, Global Philanthropy, Programs, and Business Development teams to align inputs, streamline processes, and reduce bottlenecks.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date CRM and pipeline records, ensuring donor intelligence, engagement activity, and stage progression are consistently recorded.
• Supporting prospect research and developing profiles when required.
• Support reporting and insight generation, including pipeline tracking, income forecasting inputs, and progress summaries to inform prioritisation and decision‑making 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Experience supporting or coordinating fundraising, philanthropy, or relationship-based income generation within a charity or comparable environment.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to analyse and interpret information and data to support decision-making and insight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing professional-level briefs and materials.
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholder groups.
• Exposure to fundraising, particularly in major gifts, trusts and foundations, and/or corporate partnerships.
• Understanding of data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR) and their application in donor management.

NEF is looking for an Economist to join its macroeconomics and monetary policy work. The successful candidate will bring strong quantitative and economic research skills to work across a range of areas, including interest rates, inflation, Bank of England policy, monetary-fiscal coordination, credit conditions, financial stability, public investment, distributional impacts, and the design of alternative monetary tools.
