The Kirkwood provide specialist adult care for anyone affected by a life limiting illness across Kirklees. Their care begins at diagnosis, within their In-Patient Unit and Support & Therapy Centre in Huddersfield, or in patients’ own homes. Their amazing care is respectful, tailored to individuals needs and wishes until the end of life. This includes support for patients family members, friends, and carers during their illness and afterwards.

The Role

This brand-new role is vital in raising awareness of the profound impact legacy and in-memory donations have on people affected by life-limiting or terminal illness.

Reporting directly to the Head of Fundraising and Development you will manage two key events, Light up a Life in December and the Sunflower Walk in August. As a champion for in-memory giving and gifts in wills, key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and delivering strategies to grow income from gifts in wills and in-memory giving
• Building meaningful, compassionate long-term relationships
• Delivering exceptional supporter engagement and stewardship
• Securing vital income through sensitive communication and inspiring campaigns
• Raising awareness of in-memory giving opportunities internally and externally.

The Person

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser, ideally with knowledge of legacy and/or in-memory giving. An understanding of the emotional nature of in-memory and legacy is essential. It would also be beneficial to have experience working with a hospice, or healthcare environment within the charity sector.

You should have:

• The ability to work collaboratively, building strong internal and external relationships.
• A flair for handling conversations in a sensitive, compassionate and professional manner.
• Experience in developing engaging campaigns and supporter journeys.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Knowledge of legal processes relating to wills, probate and legacy administration is also desirable.

About The Role

Every day at Alzheimer’s Society, people affected by dementia come to us for support, information and hope. A carer looking for advice late at night. A family trying to understand a diagnosis. A supporter wanting to fund change. Digital plays a huge part in helping people find what they need, when they need it most.

We’re looking for a Digital Campaigns and Optimisation Manager to help shape those experiences.

This role is about making our digital channels feel clear, accessible and human. You’ll help create better online journeys across campaigns, content and platforms, making it easier for people to access support, connect with our work and take action.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across fundraising, marketing and digital, bringing together creativity, insight and empathy to improve how we engage with people online. Whether you’re designing a website journey, improving campaign performance or using data to spot opportunities, your work will help create digital experiences that genuinely make a difference.
We’re looking for someone who shares our values. Someone who cares about inclusion, believes in working together and wants to use digital to create positive change for people affected by dementia.

What you’ll do
You’ll help bring our digital activity to life, making sure the experiences we create are useful, engaging and easy to access for everyone.
In this role, you will:

- Deliver and improve digital campaigns, content and user journeys across our platforms, including the Society’s main website and fundraising platforms.
- Use insight, feedback and testing to understand what people need and improve their online experience.
- Work with teams across the organisation to support campaigns and digital projects from idea through to delivery.
- Use tools like Google Analytics 4 to track performance, spot opportunities and guide decisions.
- Help make sure our digital content is accessible, inclusive and user focused.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and learning within the team.

No two days will look the same. One day you might be improving a donation journey to help raise vital funds. The next, you could be helping make support content easier for someone with dementia or their family to find and understand.

About you
You’re someone who cares about creating digital experiences that work well for real people. You enjoy solving problems, improving journeys and working with others to make things better.

- Improving digital content, websites or user journeys to help people find what they need and take action.
- Supporting or managing people as part of a positive and collaborative team.
- Using CMS platforms such as Drupal, WordPress, Umbraco or similar systems to manage website content.
- Working in agile or flexible ways, with the ability to adapt and keep improving things over time.
- Using data and tools like Google Analytics 4 to understand what’s working well and where digital experiences can be improved.

You’ll also bring strong communication and organisational skills, an understanding of accessible and inclusive digital content, and a genuine passion for creating great online experiences.

The Design in Mental Health Network (DiMHN) is a UK-based charity dedicated to improving mental health outcomes through better design. We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Head of Partnerships & Programmes to play a central role in our next phase of growth.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING 

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will: 

• Drive sustainable income through a mix of commercial partnerships, membership growth, and charitable funding
• Develop and lead strategic and commercial partnerships, from opportunity through to delivery
• Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of programmes across our core areas of work
• Grow and engage a diverse membership across commercial and health sector stakeholders
• Embed strong monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to demonstrate impact and inform decision-making

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a strategic, relationship-driven leader who can translate opportunity into impact, income, and influence. 

Knowledge and experience 

You will bring: 

• A strong track record of developing and securing income through partnerships, sponsorship, membership, and/or charitable funding
• Experience building and managing commercial or strategic partnerships, including identifying opportunities and maintaining long-term relationships
• Experience designing and delivering programmes involving multiple stakeholders, sectors, and/or geographies
• The ability to develop robust business cases, including assessing opportunities, risks, and resource requirements
• Experience growing and engaging professional networks, memberships, or cross-sector communities
• Confidence working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

Knowledge of the mental health, healthcare, design, or built environment sectors is welcome, but not essential.
