ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Fundraising Officer to help strengthen and grow sustainable income across our network of academies, with a particular focus on Harris Westminster Sixth Form: one of the nation’s highest-performing sixth forms, founded in 2014 and built on the generosity and vision of committed donors.
In this pivotal role, you will help convert strong supporter interest into meaningful, long-term philanthropic partnerships. Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, you will play a key part in developing and delivering innovative fundraising initiatives that inspire engagement and maximise impact for our students.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
The central focus of your role will be fundraising from trusts and foundations and individual donors. This will include prospect research, developing compelling cases for support, preparing high-quality funding applications and reports as well as managing relationships with existing funders to ensure excellent stewardship and long-term partnership.
You will also play an active role in identifying and cultivating new individual supporters, helping to build a pipeline of prospective donors through research, engagement activity and thoughtful relationship management. Working collaboratively across teams, you will ensure fundraising activity is well coordinated, donor-centred and aligned with the wider ambitions of the Harris Federation.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Manager to support the development and delivery of a refreshed and consolidated approach to risk management. The successful candidate will be responsible for redefining risk at Age UK and consolidating interdependent functions and teams; delivering a consistent approach to risk and compliance and providing clear assurance to the Committee and the Board of Trustees.
You will be an experienced risk professional who can work with senior leaders to help identify and design relevant strategies which will quantify and mitigate a broad range of operational and strategic risks. You will lead in the delivery of Age UK's enterprise risk management strategy, ensuring that risks are effectively identified, assessed, and managed across all areas of the charity.

The role will support people aged 18 and over who have experienced sexual abuse or rape at any point. Purpose of the role
The Business Analyst will play a key role in improving our organisational efficiency, strengthening our data and reporting infrastructure, and supporting the growth and sustainability of our services. Working across teams, the postholder will analyse and streamline processes, enhance data capture and reporting, and support the integration and improvement of our core systems (CRM, Finance, and operational tools). What you'll do

Charity People are seeking an experienced and confident Designated Safeguarding Lead to join a charity on an interim basis for six months. This is a vital role supporting adults across a wide range of community and specialist services. The postholder will provide expert safeguarding leadership, ensure safe practice, and offer guidance to staff working with vulnerable adults who present with complex needs. This position is required urgently due to the upcoming departure of our current safeguarding lead, so it would be ideal to have a handover period. There is potential for the role to evolve into a broader position as they continue to develop their approach across the organisation.
The Designated Safeguarding Lead will act as the first point of escalation for safeguarding concerns and provide clear, timely advice to staff and managers. The role combines day to day operational safeguarding oversight with longer term development of governance, compliance, and safe practice across services in Surrey. You will work closely with frontline teams, service managers, and the Director of Services to support safeguarding decision making, identify risk, and maintain consistent high standards across all services. Experience in mental health, outreach, domestic abuse, trauma informed practice, criminal justice, or community support services will be an advantage.

You will be responsible for building your own caseload by engaging directly with young men in prison and providing intensive support after their release. In addition to working with those you meet in prison; you will also support Trainees referred to the programme after they have already been released.
Once on the programme, you will maintain regular contact with Trainees, meeting face-to-face at least once a week to help them navigate the challenges of being recently released from prison and work towards their goals. Most importantly, you will do this in a way that reflects Switchback’s core values: putting Trainees at the heart of everything we do, setting high expectations, and building authentic, supportive relationships that enable lasting change.

These two new roles will add capacity to our Outreach Support work, joining two colleagues who are currently supporting people to access private rented accommodation as part of the Refugee Homelessness Prevention Project across Greater Manchester.
This area of work is relatively new to Boaz, and is continuing after a successful pilot last year (a GMCA funded project, as part of their Refugee Welcome Programme). Through this pilot, we worked with over 200 people and supported 92 people to move into accommodation and sustain a tenancy. We saw referrals continue to rise last year, and know that this work is needed now more than ever.
The two new roles will involve working with single adults recently granted refugee status who have been assessed as having no priority need following a homelessness assessment and are rough sleeping, at risk of rough sleeping, or living in off-the-streets accommodation. The successful candidates will also work with families who have been granted refugee status and who are living in asylum hotels or temporary accommodation and need support to find onward accommodation.
In accordance with the Christian ethos and values of the Boaz Trust, the Support Worker is responsible for participating in the successful delivery of a frontline support service working with people who are facing homelessness after being granted refugee status:
The post holder will:
- provide practical and holistic support to people with refugee status who are referred into the project (individuals and families)
- build positive and productive relationships with colleagues in local authorities, housing providers, landlords and voluntary sector organisations
- play a supportive and collaborative role working alongside the wider staff team.

Role Overview
The Dementia Service Co-ordinator is a newly created role responsible for coordinating and developing Age UK Croydon’s Dementia Service. A varied role with development, supervisory, and facilitation responsibilities, it offers an exciting opportunity to join the team and help shape the service to support people living with dementia, their carers, and the wider community. The Dementia Service sits within the Healthier Lifestyles Team and currently offers six monthly Memory Tree Cafés for people living with mild to moderate dementia and their carers, alongside co-located support groups for carers. Cafes are delivered at our Brigstock Road Community Hall and across the borough in local community venues.
The role has two main areas of responsibility: coordinating, facilitating and expanding the existing café and carers’ group; developing a new preventative strand of the service focused on providing information and advice to residents aged 50+ on raising awareness of dementia, promoting brain health and reducing the risk of developing dementia.
The post holder will ensure the effective delivery, monitoring and evaluation of our dementia-related services across the borough. You will supervise and work with the staff and volunteer team to provide a welcoming, inclusive environment within our Memory Tree Cafes and carers’ support groups which promotes interaction, stimulation and wellbeing. You will build and maintain positive working relationships across Age UK Croydon and with external partners, referrers and stakeholders, including health professionals and voluntary organisations, to develop and promote the service.
Age UK Croydon is currently reviewing its Dementia Service, and in this role the post holder will work closely with the Healthier Lifestyles Service Manager to put the review’s recommendations into practice, ensuring improvements and new monitoring systems are embedded across the service.
