You’ll play a vital role in guiding young people on their journey into work. You’ll take responsibility for a caseload of young people, offering one-to-one support, coaching, and encouragement, while helping them navigate everything from travel costs to balancing other commitments.

As a key advocate, you’ll work closely with employers to champion each young person’s support and learning needs, ensuring they are set up for success in their roles. You’ll also collaborate with partners such as Jobcentre Plus and other stakeholders to create seamless pathways into employment, making sure nothing stands in the way of sustained job outcomes.

You’ll be a guiding light for our delivery partners and service providers, supporting them to deliver high-quality experiences that lead to real jobs for young people. You'll also deliver engaging employability sessions, both directly and by supporting partners and volunteers, using a mix of face-to-face delivery and virtual sessions via MS Teams. When needed, you’ll be out and about, visiting placements or employers to ensure everything runs smoothly and that everything is delivered to the highest standard.

Alongside this, you’ll maintain accurate and detailed records of young people’s progress, employer engagement, and outcomes, ensuring everything aligns with our funding requirements and clearly demonstrates the impact of the programme.

We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our Management Team, to lead and motivate our team of Youth Development Leads. Working collaboratively to develop and implement our delivery plan and ensure we meet targets.

As part of the Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Explore and Get Started, two of our Foundations for Work programmes. Through these programmes, we focus on supporting young people, often with complex needs, develop confidence and essential skills for the workplace.

Whilst the South London Centre will be the contracted place of work, there will also be the requirement to work from our Islington Delivery Space where the team operate from and deliver programmes to Young People. This individual will have a unique opportunity to help manage and support the development of our new delivery space in Islington, building links and connections in the local community.

As a Delivery Manager, you will lead your team to delivery effectively, ensuring that every young person engaged progresses with an appropriate pathway of learning, development and one to one support. You will be a role model for your team, demonstrating best practice in how we work with young people in a safe way to ensure we deliver maximum value for young people and partners.

As one of our Delivery Managers, you need to have:

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Strong planning and organisational skills

• Effective data analysis skills

• A track record of operational management

You'll be the friendly face and trusted contact for our education delivery partners across Wrexham and the surrounding areas, helping them deliver our Achieve programme with confidence and impact. From providing training and resources to sharing best practice and offering guidance, you'll ensure our partners have everything they need to create outstanding experiences for young people.

You'll also be a support for our volunteers. Whether you're helping someone find the perfect opportunity, supporting them throughout their volunteering journey, or ensuring they have the training and resources they need, you'll play a big part in creating an exceptional volunteer experience. After all, great volunteers can change lives, and you'll help make those connections happen.

Of course, every role comes with a bit of admin! You'll keep records accurate and up to date, track activity through our CRM systems, and make sure we're meeting funding, safeguarding and compliance requirements. Your attention to detail will help ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, allowing our programmes to shine.

We're also looking for someone who enjoys bringing people together. You might facilitate networking sessions, encourage the sharing of ideas and best practice, help organise celebrations and end-of-programme events, or occasionally step in to support the delivery of sessions with young people.

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and full of initiative, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You'll enjoy working with a wide range of people, from teachers and delivery partners to volunteers and young people themselves. An understanding of the education sector would be helpful, but most importantly, you'll be passionate about supporting others and making a difference.

Together, we'll ensure that our young people get onboarded and engaged in our programmes safely and with style. Dive deep to uncover any barriers that stand in their way, helping to remove those barriers to enable them to shine and propelling them on their journey towards amazing outcomes. Responsible for a group of young people, for one-on-one support, group sessions and guidance, supporting them into employment outcomes. You'll be on a mission to assist with travel expenses and find clever ways to handle their other commitments. You'll champion their support and learning needs with employers, and you'll be the ultimate liaison, working alongside partners like the job centre and HSC employer partners, including the NHS to ensure that nothing stands in the way of their success!

You’ll also be the guiding light for our delivery partners and service providers as we want them to deliver the best experience and outcomes for our young people. High-fives all around! Roll up your sleeves and deliver employability sessions directly to our incredible young people. You'll also help our Delivery Partners and volunteers do the same, both in person and virtually through our trusty MS Teams. When we're doing things face-to-face, you’ll need to hit the road and be there in person to help with programme delivery or programme visits to make sure all is running as smoothly as possible.

And if that’s not enough to keep you busy, you’ll also be keeping meticulous records of information and data on our young people, volunteers, and partners. It's all about making sure every step of their journey is accurately reflected in our systems so that it complies with our funding contracts.

Could you become the personal champion of a young person facing barriers to achieving their goals? The South Coast Foundations team are looking for a new Youth Development Lead!  Working across our Get Started and Explore programmes, you’ll lead personal development sessions that take our Foundation programmes to new heights.  

The sessions will range from outdoor activities in green spaces to world of work experiences, creative projects, life skills and everything in between!  You won’t be sitting behind a screen every day; this is an active role which will involve frequent, funded travel between Southampton and Portsmouth to deliver these exciting programmes, as well as programme visits and quarterly short residential trips. You will provide pastoral support for young people, helping them to apply their newly acquired skills to their progression into education or employment. Keeping things on point means meticulously recording info and data about our programme participants, volunteers, and partners. It's all about making sure every step of their journey aligns perfectly with our funding contracts and has maximum impact for everyone involved.

About the role:

At the heart of Camden’s mission to end rough sleeping, we are recruiting Project Workers across two short-stay accommodation services, with one role based at Gray’s Inn Road and one role based at the Rough Sleepers Hub Assessment Centre at 165 King’s Cross Road. Both services support people experiencing rough sleeping to move away from the streets and towards safe, sustainable housing, but each plays a slightly different role in that journey.

Gray’s Inn Road provides short-stay accommodation for 16 people, usually for three to six months. Funded by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and the Greater London Authority, and delivered in partnership with One Housing Group and Camden Council, the service offers focused, trauma-informed support for people facing overlapping challenges including homelessness, poor physical and mental health, substance use, trauma and contact with the criminal justice system. As a Project Worker, you’ll hold a caseload, complete in-depth assessments, build tailored support plans and work alongside each person to develop practical life skills, confidence and clear pathways into longer-term housing and independence.

At 165 King’s Cross Road, the Rough Sleepers Hub Assessment Centre provides 16 beds through a shorter, assessment-led model, with planned move-on typically within 28 days. This is a fast-paced service focused on momentum, opportunity and the right next step. You’ll carry out meaningful assessments, respond to complex situations, create personalised support plans and offer practical, hands-on support around housing pathways, wellbeing, daily living skills and opportunities to access training or employment.

Whichever service you join, you’ll work in a psychologically informed and trauma-aware environment, alongside partners including Camden Routes off the Streets, Inroads, Connect Forward and the Adult Pathway. You’ll also contribute to the safe and effective running of the service, while being supported through reflective practice, high-quality training and clear development opportunities. Most importantly, you’ll be part of a team that believes rough sleeping should be rare, brief and not repeated, and that every person deserves the chance to move forward with confidence and hope.

• You build trust quickly and support people facing multiple disadvantage to set goals, take control and move forward at their own pace
• You stay calm under pressure and respond confidently to crisis, making safe, thoughtful decisions in complex situations
