The purpose of this role is to support NEON’s work to build organising capacity in UK social movements, including through NEON’s Worker-led Transition project. You will:

• Build support for a worker-led transition in the climate movement and communities, with an emphasis on local and regional coalition and capacity-building in key industrial regions, as well as strengthening relationships with the trade union movement

• Co-deliver organising trainings and provide longer-term organising coaching for social movement organisations across a range of issues, to build their organising skills and capacity, and using tools and content developed through our Transformative Organising Programme

• Provide responsive support to movement organisations when they need it most, offering strategic and organising advice and resources

Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK with a nationwide network of rehoming centres and charity shops, and is working towards the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction in the UK and internationally. Dogs Trust Worldwide works with local dog welfare organisations around the world to improve the lives of dogs in the communities where they operate.

Dogs Trust are going through a period of growth, with recruitment for two Senior New Partnerships Managers due to the existing Lead getting an internal promotion. There are continuing plans to drive new business through long-term strategic partnerships.

The Senior New Partnerships Manager will play an active role in winning new partnerships to support international and UK-based work. Alongside the Deputy Head of Partnerships, you will work closely with the prospect research and special events team, and line manage a New Partnerships Manager.

You will be responsible for proactively identifying and cultivating high value prospects within target corporate sectors, to win significant high value multi-year partnerships that support Dogs Trust’s work.

This role will look for high value opportunities across multiple fundraising mechanisms including, but not limited to, corporate donations, cause-related marketing, consultancy services, gift in kind and pro bono cost saving, employee engagement and volunteering, charity of the year and sponsorship.

About the role

• Identify and cultivate new corporate partnerships supporting a new business team target of £950k.
• Collaboratively work with the Deputy Head of Corporate Partnerships in developing new corporate fundraising products that access a range of different corporate income streams.
• Build networks with key decision makers and influencers at target companies to strengthen relationships and build long term partnerships.
• Line manage a New Partnerships Manager supporting performance and professional development.

About you

• Proven track record of identifying and securing 5-6 figure corporate partnerships.
• Experience of line managing or supervising staff to deliver excellent work and of supporting their professional development.
• Demonstrable experience of writing successful, inspiring, emotive and technically accurate proposals and pitches, tailored to a corporate audience.
• Tenacious, with strong negotiation skills and full appreciation of the commercial value of Dogs Trust brand and assets

Salary: £33,926 per annum (5 days)

Location: Hybrid. The post holder will be contractually based at Hospice House,Kings cross London. This role is eligible for the Hospice UK Hybrid Working Arrangement from the start of employment.

Our office is a short walk from King’s Cross station in London. For this role, we need someone to come into the office at least one day a week, on a Tuesday. A day where all of Income Generation come into the office. You can work remotely for the rest of the time. Equally, you may prefer to work from the office full-time. We encourage all colleagues to visit member hospices to help inform our work and you may be able to work from there.

As well as driving positive change for people affected by terminal illness and bereavement in the workplace, Compassionate Employers is an important income generation stream and ‘door-opener’ for Hospice UK.

Key Purpose:

Lancashire Mind is a local charity working to prevent poor mental health. We support people experiencing common mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression. We work with children and adults, offering universal services to help people improve their mental wellbeing, along with targeted services for people and communities at increased risk of experiencing poor mental health or facing mental health inequalities. We’re working towards a Lancashire where everyone can have the best mental health and wellbeing possible.

We have a responsibility to engage the communities we serve, to make sure we know and understand them. It's vital we do this to identify need and understand barriers and to design services alongside people. We do this well on an individual service level, with many of our projects designed with the people who use them but we need to improve how we involve people with lived experience in organisation-wide development plans and key decision making.

To help us work towards our plans for embedding participation, we're looking for someone to join our Engagement and Inclusion Team to work with the communities we aim to serve, with a focus on those who are underrepresented within Lancashire Mind services. You'll work with colleagues across all teams to ensure opportunities to influence Lancashire Mind's work are promoted to everyone who uses our services.

• Produce high-quality, timely and inspiring emails for donors and supporters, to increase income and engagement
• Devise and manage innovative social media campaigns to increase social engagement, ensuring suitable mechanisms are in place to effectively evaluate their success
• Work with website developers to implement Google Analytics and Facebook tracking across the website and third-party tools
• Experience with creating and producing newsletters and appeals within an email service provider and experience with building campaigns through social media tools like Facebook Ad Manager within the software packages

We are looking for a talented fundraiser, ideally with a background in the cultural sector to join the Gardens, Libraries & Museums (GLAM) Team within the Development and Alumni Engagement team of the University of Oxford.

In this role in any given week you might see a dodo, extraordinary thousand-year old Chinese ceramics, insects collected by Darwin, the first scientifically described dinosaur and drawings by John Ruskin, as well as work on projects involving saving the largest flower in the world or supporting world-leading restitution work.

The collections are important and renowned on their own accounts, but also play a key role in the University’s research.  In addition, they are the open doors to the University of Oxford, encouraging a diverse range of communities to engage with our academics and curators.

About the role:

Your role will include fundraising to support the various institutions, working with individuals, trusts and corporations.  You will be responsible for a portfolio of donors, including prospecting and stewardship.  As part of the wider GLAM fundraising team, you will also be responsible for delivery of stewardship events and get involved with wider appeal activities.  You will work with curators and Directors in the various institutions and have the opportunity to frame appealing projects to present to prospects.

This is an opportunity to raise funds to support some of the most beautiful and significant objects and collections in the country, and to work as part of the highly successful fundraising team at the University of Oxford.
